This is part of why I like your channel: a review of a new cool fan and your "energy" in your reviews. You sprinkle in these different items vs your usual content. I'm like what is this, a fan review :-) Brought a smile to my face this morning. Thank you for your efforts here and wish you the best as always!
Thank you so much for your explanation of how to change the speeds as well as how to limit oscillation And how to combine the vertical and horizontal oscillation. I just received mine today. I bought it yesterday from Amazon and I am over the moon happy with mine.
I’m impressed I mean after a few months once I saw the prime day deal I said let me get my second one and then come up with a review to share this with everyone
@@TechMadeEzyI got it on sale. The two cool features are I can use it on a table or the stand. Has a battery that will last a long time. However, the Dreo fan you have is the best. I would definitely get this fan over the shark.
Cool trick to use dreo fan. Put in front of floor or window AC. Set the dreo to high and it pulls so much cool air it allows you to lower the fan set on the AC unit to 25% conserving power. It's allowed an air conditioner running just off solar and ecoflow delta 2 max to truly cool an entire room and add an extra 45 minutes to an hour of runtime without the extra ecoflow batteries. Maybe make this video?
Thanks for a great review! Very helpful. I've been thinking about this fan for over a year now. I wish I'd pulled the trigger on Prime Day, but it's still a reasonably priced fan at full price. Now just trying to decide if I want the smart version or not. It's only $10 more, but I have IR blasters (Switchbot hubs) on my Alexa setup, that would send the remote signals. I just don't know if the Dreo smart app would be significantly more functional or not. Something I just have to decide on...
Uh...you could just turn off the oscillating feature if you want the air where you are, lol. And for what that fan costs, you could buy 5 of the old style as they sell them at dollar general for 19.99, lol.
Hey Rebel True but I can’t limit the area it oscillates, and it only oscillates one way. I also like that this is quieter and it actually uses less power because it has a DC brushless motor.
@@Rebel9668 I understand that logic, however this thing has 8 speeds which I personally love in addition to the ability to limit oscillation, uses less energy which = less $ AND aesthetically, which is important to some of us, it doesn’t look anything like one of those discount store fans. It’s sleek and it does a phenomenal job. I just got mine today and I am extremely pleased!
How much power do you need? It works for me. I use it in the living room in front of the couch. I use it in the bedroom in front of the bed. Obviously, there are other fans out there that maybe have more power. We all like different products. I’m simply sharing a product I bought and liked and actually went out and bought a second one.
I just received mine today and I will say it is powerful. Most other fans you only have three speed options. This one gives you eight in addition to the multi oscillation modes. With other fans, I don’t have the option of having it on one or two if I just want a very slight breeze during the night or eight if I want it to be in turbo mode. What’s good for me may not be good for you, but I am enjoying the small footprint, brushless motor, option to go very low or high on speed as well as the fact that it is quite aesthetically pleasing.

Need this in my life. Thanks for sharing and kiss Sunshine from us all
You are so welcome
Thanks for the demo and info. This is FANtastic LOL Have a great day
Thanks
Your intro got you a new sub. Never ran into you before.👍
Thanks 👍🏼
The product description on the WiFi version even says it works with Alexa. Very cool! Great review!
I have Dreo's first version, and I love it.

I like that fan! Nice review.
Hi PJ 👋🏼
I have 2 now, and now I’m cool 😎
Darn, I just bought Shark’s new fan and this looks amazing. Thank you for this review. I know what I want for Xmas.
I saw that one, but it was like 200 bucks and it didn’t do the oscillating features that this one had

I thought you were Howard Sterm for a second, you sound a bit like him! You got a voice for radio friend!
Thank you I hope you found our review helpful
It is Howard Stern, it's his side gig
@46GarageUSA love don’t pay the rent
Hi Tech Made Easy, will both version of the fans resume their last setting after a power failure (or when connected to a smart plug)?
I found mine does when I unplugged it and move it to another room, but I haven’t tried unplugging it and leaving it that long
We use a fan at night and part of what I like about it is the white noise it produces, a super quite fan would not be the same.
That’s OK we’re not all the same
@@jstar1000 When it is on higher settings, there is some white noise btw.

To bad they don’t provide CFM specs like real fan manufacturers
I’ll double check. I’ll see if I can get some for you.
Bad news so far, it doesn’t look like they replied to any message at all doesn’t matter what channel you use on social media
@@TechMadeEzy Love watching the fan dance 😊 Thanks for trying
Could get this for 20usd
Too complicated for me. I'll take regular.
That’s ok 👍🏼
That is not affordable.
Most of the features are also on less expensive fans.
Amazon reviews say it's not that powerful. It's not worth the money.
