That starter don't sound right when you tried to start it the second time. Truck sounds amazing though. Makes me smile every time I see a straight piped powerstroke.
@@hunter7476 Gotcha! That makes sense. Still the best sounding 7.3 in my opinion. Love when those things roar to life at high idle for a few seconds.👌😎
@@hunter7476 Oh yea. The new superdutys are too nice to be off road capable. Thats what I love about this year of F250 and F350. Especially the King Ranch's! My only problem is that the seats rip relatively easy. They still last a while though! Which engine do you prefer though? I prefer the 7.3 OBVIOUSLY🤣
@@Sqwilliam-vdh the 7.3 diesel of course. If I could find a really nice truck and it had a 5.4 gasser or a v10 I might consider too.. not sure if I would want a 6.0 or not it’s a heavily weighted topic
Went to go buy a 97 CCLB with 162k on the clock and when I showed up the dude had it plugged in. It was 40 degrees out. This video is how a healthy 7.3 WILL Start in the cold. Needless to say I passed on the truck still looking for that diamond in the rough.
Gotta love the 7.3!

Sounds like it wasn’t engaging correctly. The bendix might be gummed up or the solenoid could be not functioning properly.

@@Sqwilliam-vdh me too. 99-07 superdutys in my opinion had the best body and interior. The new superdutys are almost too luxurious lol

@@USoutdoorsman all they need is new glow plugs and they will all start like this
Bendix didn’t engage on the first attempt of the second start. Be sure to pretend not to hear it and drive on.
Nice smoke to inhale
I do enjoy the smell, smells like good times with the boys

@@zephgage3694 yea but I can't plug it in at school
You could always try letting the plugs warm a bit before cranking.
And make sure the motor’s in great condition
