At some point in the far future Blackstar will eventually make an Amped 10 that's gonna be 10 feet long, has every effect known to man and requires solar panels to power.
Just got one yesterday, cheap 'cause used (for 3 months). What a hell of an amp and even better when using it with a DAW. Well much worth for your money. I'm still blown away.
@@RyansResolve That's an opinion, I personally think the Axe FX has a sound and I've never really liked it, like the Katana I've always considered it overrated and never understood the sheepish hype, also keep in mind this is about one fifth the price of an AxeFX that would still need an amp. In person and in online comparisons I've thought the Helix blows the AxeFX away but before the Helix was available I tried a Blackstar ID260TVP and was blown away and this is basically that but in a pedal. The way Blackstar do this type of amp design is actually amazing they sound and feel incresible and this pedal eliminates the flaws of the TVP/Silverline range. IMO the Crunch and Super Crunch are some of the greatest amps ever and Blackstars EL84 TVP response is to die for. That's my opinion. The beauty is this is a 100w amp so you can use it to power multiFX (although AMPED 1 is the better suited amp for that purpose) and you can use it with other pedals. Between this and the Debut 50R I think Blackstar are finally making great practical products for real guitarists and that's not to take anything away from St James but these latest releases are really excellent.
Haha thanks Toby! 😂🤘 Yeah, depending on how you're using it, the AMPED 3 has features the 1 does not. However it works the other way around too! So it depends on your application really. Can't go wrong with either though!
I just got the Amped 2 a few weeks ago. I'm glad this is not just a better version of the 2. Will you continue to use your Amped 2 or will you use the 3 now that you have both?
These Amped pedals are wicked cool. I have the Amped 1 and the only thing this one has that I wish the 1 has is more gain on tap. Maybe a software update can make the 1 more gainy? Who knows! 😊
Question for you my man! I just watched your MT Stage MKIII video and wanted to know which one you preferred in the room? Cause crazy as it sounds, I think I prefer the Amped 3! haha It seems to be a bit tighter and clearer.
Beat demo of this yet. I light he sold and selly tube amps. Ugh. Im a damn tube snob. No other channel did guitar volume cleanup. Is it me or does this oedal nail everything? I wanna hear it single coil and a oedal if needed to get the srv type blues and i would throw money down Quick.
Can we just stop for a second and appreciate what a good guitar player Dagan is? Dude switches styles and sounds with such fluidity and ease, he makes all of this equipment sound amazing!
When i clicked this video i thought it was the guy from machine head lol. Sounds killer. Would u recommend this with a 4x12 for band practice and gigging?
I got one and tried it for 2 days. Doesn't sound anything like it does in this demo. Maybe it's my guitar, but I can't get it to sound half that good. I tried a Strat and an Ibanez and neither sounded decent through this amp pedal. I am sticking with my Line 6 POD Go for now. Sounds way better than this thing. I really wanted to like this amp because I love the concept of clean/crunch/overdrive with a boost. I have a simulated boost with an MXR micro amp at the back end of my rig now. However, the basic sounds out of this amp were not good and nothing like what I saw in this video. The clean channel was okay, but the drive channels were weak. Disappointed. Is it meant for a specific guitar-type? Or pick-ups? I will happily give it another chance if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.
Love those mxr micro amp pedals, got one at the back end of my signal going into my Marshall 2525h head. Love it. Thanks for your opinion, im looking at a Line 6 hx stomp xl, but was wondering how the amped 3 stacks up.
Did you use in a real cab or direct with IRs? Because from what I heard so far, when it comes out of a cab, it seems to sound great but direct? Like ass hahahaha
Good effort at a pedal board amp for live situations, but it sounds very poor indeed. I bought one and tried it for 2 weeks with out any success in trying to get a good sound. Now returned to the shop. This would have been my 5th Blacksar amp ....... very poor
@@Fuzzybunny-ki1cw Its not the quality of the kit, that's great. It's the sound I don't like. As much as I try I can't get the sound I want. I have been using Blackstars for years but sadly no longer. Now using a Boss GT1000 through a Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170.
Really shitty the way they stole from Blugguitars. Thomas is a super chill dude and they come along and just take his shit from him. Super Shitty. Won't buy no matter what it sounds like.

And only the 5 richest people on earth would be able to afford it
Then someone will make an 11. 11 ft long and turns up to you know how much.
Then that'll be final. No one will be able to beat it.

Shreds for breakfast!🔥🔥🔥🎸 Thanks PMT team! 🖤🙏
Dude’s playing is unsurpassed every demo I watch!
That little box is a monster. I reckon that Amped 5 should be the ultimate with all the main fx, tuner & a few more presets
You could just buy an Axe FX now that already does all of that better than Blackstar will in the future

@@Civic.I agree 100%.
"Soundcheck in a Stadium" might be your best work sir
Amazing pedal! I might need to upgrade the Amped 1!

Amazing demo as always 🫵 🔥🔥🔥🤘
Thanks 🔥
Damn dude !!!! Great demo/walkthrough and superb playing…
How does Dagan make everything sound amazing 🤘🏼
Sounds awesome! Great review/ tutorial Dagan!🎸🎸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Glad you liked it! 🤘

sounds awesome but already more than happy with my St James 6l6

It’s not meant to have more gain. That’s what pedals in the front are for. 😀
Great, now I've got to save up for that!

Hi. Thanks for the video! Which guitar do you use? Thanks

Oh god
What is the model of the kramer you're using ?
wat a nice sounding little amp..what little cabinet do you recommend?!🎉

I thought dude looked like a cheese ball, but then when he started playing, it all made sense. I would pay for lessons from him.
At 15min, what'S the name of the VH's song? thanks!
Songs called 3:16 on the For unlawful carnal knowledge album !
The clean tones using that guitar were acoustic like
Is this going to replace your amped2 for your live rig, I don’t know which one to go for now.
Nah, I'll be sticking with the 2 for the effects 👍
so am I right in that you cannot load 3rd party IR's into it? if so, that's a deal breaker, despite how great this pedal is
It's a great product! but, i get the feeling this is basically the amp1 from bluguitar, but without the tube in it
Is this a repost?
Nope! Brand new pedal in Blackstars Dept. 10 AMPED range! 🤘
I thought you were about to bust into some Chesney Hawkes at the very start.
So they added a tuner for the Amped 2, then removed it in the 3?!? That ain't it, Blackstar.
Just missing delay. If it had that, it would be perfect.

Thank you for the insight. Do you think the amped 2 has the same poor quality?

Added boost but lost the effects? Pass.
