- This beautiful park in Santa Monica stretches 1.5 miles along Ocean Avenue. Palisades park offers great scenic views over Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica State Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
Palisades Park is a 26.4-acre park in Santa Monica, California. The park is located along Ocean Avenue on top of an uplifted unconsolidated sedimentary coastal Quaternary terrace with exposed bluffs, offering views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal mountains. The park extends over 1.5 miles from the Santa Monica Pier at the south to Adelaide Drive at the north. This long linear park is lined with more than 30 species of plants and trees, including gum, yate, pine, palm, and fig trees.

Good one! This brings back memories. My daughter went to Paul Revere and Palisades High. I worked nights so I would pick her up every day go thru Palisades park make a right on California Incline to Coffee Bean in Malibu. At 15 1/2 to the day drivers training started at this park. Yep right turn to Malibu. Ocean Avenue to PCH.

You are fortunate to have missed the massive homeless encampments in Santa Monica.
Easily the most beautiful landscaped beaches in the World. Damm shame homeless camps have now overrun Venice and are now creeping up to Santa Monica :(
