Malanga is amazing, I am pregnant and could barely eat anything but making purée de malanga has helped me build up my stomach to be able to eat more foods without feeling bad. Now that I know all the nutrients I am also getting from this simple root vegetable I am even more in love💛
I'm from West Africa and we have this root veggie on the summer in abundance we boil it and it's so good love it more than potatoes which cause cobstipation
We eat it boiled with hot spicy cilantro & garlic chutney or grate it with ginger mixed with cornflour salt & pepper makes balls & deep fry 👍😋😋😋♥️🇺🇸🦅🇲🇺🦤
I chop Garlic, Ginger and Tumeric for a cleansing each month, this time I added taro. Chop equal amounts of each and put it in a small jar and cover with honey add a little pepper for absorbtion into your body. Only 1 week of a teaspoon each morning 2 hours before breakfast, you don't need a huge amount. I have a little finger that was bending, no longer able to straighten, after only one day it has straightened out. I feel tingling all over, a callous on my foot is softening, stopping to see affects, already in my system, I'll keep you updated...
You don’t eat it raw. It cause itchiness! The leaves needs to be dry out and then you can cook it. Never consume the leaves raw and fresh. It needs to be dry up .
