I put fennel seed in a former pepper mill and keep it with the salt and pepper on the table. Freshly milled fennel seed is a nice condiment/spice for many meals.

My daughter thought that she was buying fennel that would grow a bulb. We didn't end up with a bulb, but we did get lots of seeds. It will self sow and can take over. It is fascinating to watch the pollinators flock to the fennel. They absolutely love it.

Wanted to share a thought I recently heard. When shopping, you can purchase a bottle of organic spices, like fennel, that can actually be used for planting at a far greater value than a seed pack. Same can be said for 15 Bean Soup or any beans for that matter.
    Just passing this along.

A money saving tip... besides all the discounts that pop up during the year - even on Frontier products.... if you put any number of items in your cart and leave the website, in a couple days you will receive an email offering 10% off to finish the order. This is very timely for me. We have a wild fennel growing and taking over some sections of the yard. I am about to cut most of it down. I already harvested some seeds. I will go and harvest all the seeds today. The wild fennel is a bit invasive and will grow like crazy from seed. We always leave some for the birds and the black swallowtail butterfly likes to lay it's eggs on fennel. Our ducks and rabbits love the foliage.
The seeds on the wild one are smaller than the garden variety and it does not form the big bulb. I have grown the garden variety that bulbs nicely in big pots and it did very well. Our climate is hot and dry in summer.

Fennel seed tea was a staple for gassy babies growing up, I do not like the flavor much, but when I had an upset stomach I would drink the tea (add a touch of mint); since it is good for the eyes I better get used to it 😊 I do add it to my home made sambuca, with dandelion root and a bunch of other "better" tasting spices, but that I don't drink, it's "medicin" 😊 Indian restaurants have, unfortunately sugar coated, fennel seeds to chew after the meal! The time I tried growing some the swallowtail butterflies found it and I always let those caterpillars live and eat away😁

Hi there. Hope you had a nice turkey day.. Thanks for this post, I found it very helpful.. I know of two other things that may help eyes. Just in the last week, Robert Scott Bell mentioned on one of his shows to someone that wrote in about vision problems was to take selenium. He said the selenium deficiency is always the cause to vision problems.. and that can be resolved by 2 Brazil nuts (4 max) daily. The other thing collodial silver drops for the eyes. One of my best friends was told that she was getting cataracts and at the time she was helping at the Del Mar Racetrack down in San Diego with the horses.. she noticed that the vets put this in the eyes of the horses. She gave it a try and no longer has vision problems- cataracts gone! I do not know how often she put drops in daily. Robert Scott Bell also mentioned silver eye drops a bit further back and I learned B12 also good for eyes if by chance a person is having blurred vision. Have to go this is long and hubby is needing extra help in kitchen. K

My vision was so blurry last year at this time I just knew I would need cataract surgery. (I'm 72) when I went in my vision had actually improved in both eyes and I have no more floaters and she said I will see you in a year. Until I started researching castor oil for half my salve oil , I never knew what it does for your eyes. Then I watched your 2 videos on it. One good remedy using fennel seeds is this: ( use a tall glass spice jar...empty , clean & dry) fill 1/3 of the jar with caraway seeds, 1/3 of the jar with anise seeds, 1/3 of the jar with fennel ...shake up the jar. Then after a spicy or gassy meal measure out 1 TBSP of the seed mixture and you can chew them...and/ or eat them...or make a tea...for digestive relief.

Bronze fennel is a perennial that is grown for seed. It is a lovely plant that is always covered in pollinators in my garden, and produces huge amounts of seed. From the pictures it looks like you grew Florence fennel, I think Florence fennel is like carrots where they focus on creating a bulb in the first year and put up more seed in their second year. The seeds from my bronze fennel have a much more intense fennel flavor vs. any I’ve ever purchased, but that might just be due to freshness.

I only grew it once and never took photos of it back then so I had none of my own of that to show, the photos I had shown were ones I gathered from the web so people who were unfamiliar could see what the plant looks like. But yes, that is what my plants looked like

You should give bronze fennel a try! It is beautiful, you can use the fronds in cooking, and the seeds are prolific and really flavorful. I have about 10 plants because I use it as a border for my vegetable garden and I harvest seed by the grocery bag.

I am so happy to see this, I am a type 1 diabetic, and have 5 different auto immune diseases, I am also unable to take 75 to 80% of RX medications, lasix did not work on me I had to use cranberry capsules to get the fluid down so I tend to levitate towards natural things like turmeric and ginger for pain etc..
I'm taking cholestoff because I won't take I don't even want to try it I can only imagine the hell it would inflict on me with little-known benefit.
Thank you so much for this I hope you put out more content like this I just subscribed God bless!
I have extreme white coating so they tried several blood pressure meds so far clonidine is the only one I can take it makes my ankles swell though.
But when I'm at home I nearly pass out.
It's time they started giving us treatments that actually heal, not make our bodies break down more.
Big pharma has been controlling us forever the covid lockdown only exposed what was going on.❤

Will have to continue more to see any other results. (sorry for calling it the wrong name on pumpkin powder site). GOD Bless You.

Heidi, the fennel eye wash has been amazing. I've only been doing it for 3 days. Eye injections for macular degeneration had left my eyes tired, achy, sore and extremely uncomfortable. This fennel eye wash is so soothing and relaxing to my eyes. I do the wash about 3 times a day or just whenever they start feeling uncomfortable. It's the ONLY thing that helps. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Hi, never too late. I am 38% Scandinavian. Found out on Ancestry after 60+ years since 33. I had diarrhea. No doctor could help me. I almost got a drug that 12 people died in time to save me. I accidentally found Stinging Nettles that controlled my Celiacs. I got it for allergies and found taking 2 nettles or more. I could now travel around the world with no fear of a bile attack. Nature's Way Stinging Nettles. Saved my late years of my life. Also, it was good for the Irish potato blit!

I didn't know it would be useful. I have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed at the age of 27 and the funny part is, it doesn't run in my family. I had a hard time losing thanks for all the info. I will drink it constantly every day. Weight recently. I started drinking the powder now that I know why I am losing weight and have not done anything differently. I only eat once a day and know not to eat carbs because my thyroid is hitting a disaster. Carbohydrates do not align with all of this information. Again, thank you, I will drink this consistently every single day. Since I've been using it, for a little over 2 weeks, I slept well for the past 3 days without waking up in between my usual routine and saying severe discomfort.
