The low alpha is actually kind of cool. It's nice to see a different tank, rather then the standard well armoured high alpha mediums that are becoming more and more common.

But of course something isn't right when you have balanced tanks like the E75 TS, KaJaPa 105, M4A1 Rev, or Senlac when you have completely broken tanks like the LT-432, Obj 252U, Skorpion, Borrasque (sorry if I typed it wrong) or the Lorraine (I think the Lorraine is pretty broken).

You lost those mini map rings by activating free cam. You probably can get them back after you deactivate it and go into settings and deselect and select them again.
It's really strange that the outer "basket" of the turret isn't considered as spaced armor. The tank overall looks very nice and fun to play if you use it's strengths right.

I remember when I was grinding the Caernavon in the past with the 20 pounder with barely any creds left and had to under load the tank as I did not have enough creds to fully load the tank with ammo. Ran out of ammo the next game
It is about the chance and the possible amount of damage you can deal. The shell velocity of the panthers grenades is much better. And the centurion has 226 mm pen vs the 205 mm of the kpfpz and the panther.

ironically the shell velocity goes from being sub par to being the best at tier 8 simply by tapping the 2 key. it also allows you to melt through heavy tanks
Different track types do perform better or worse on different ground types, this is one of the more realistic additions they have done, just like road tires and mudding tires are different and perform differently @6:00
Just as a heads up, this tank does have decent frontal hull armor. both the upper and lower glacis plates are 115mm so you can poke corners very well. Both plates will get to 240-270mm of effective armor, and as long as you hide your inner track wheel, you can bounce quite a few tier 8 and 9s while putting 2 shots into them in return. So you can play this in cities, if you do it right, a small sliver of your turret would be visible but how often would they think to shoot that instead of your tasty looking front plate.
You know weirdly enough, I've never gone past tier 5 in any of the German tank lines due to me playing other nations so this might be a good tank for me to get to actually grind down the German med line at some point in the future
The only german line worth investing is the e100 trust me pal i got all german tanks it was my first tech tree i only play e100 often maus is a troll and other tanks are garbage

slow soft terrain maybe something to do with track WIDTH. Thinner tracks move faster on harder ground & slower on softer ground (because they sink into the sand/mud/soft terrain). I haven't seen the tracks yet, but that'd be my guess.
Having watched the replay, I'd say there was a big argument for having the accuracy module on this - instead of either vents or stabs depending on what crew you have. You're going to be sniping a lot and due to slow shell speed, missing fast targets a lot too, so you need to make sure you hit the slower stuff more reliably to take advantage of that dpm. Quite a few targets, you might be able to thwack really hard with HE too, so it's worth having 15 HE shells on this, I'd say...unless and until WG mess up HE :(
little late here, but what would you say is better. the Kunze Panzer or the Kampfpanzer 07 RH? both are glass cannons with great mobility, decent cammo and amazing dpm. the Kunze Panzer is only accuret when its in siege mode, where it sacrifices DPM for gun depression, but its smaler... id like to know! (we will ignore that one is tier IX and the other one is tier VIII.)
That armor scheme makes me think of how the WT E 100's armor was like: Pretty good hull armor, but turret armor that would make some tier 5's die of laughter. In any case, this tank makes me think of a Tiger 1 that *didn't* have a severe case of arthritis (I always say that the Tiger 1 is a medium tank with a severe case of arthritis).

The HE is so effective, with 90mm of pen! and dmg of 320, it'd be tasty to hit against Swedish tds and some lightly armoured tanks...just a full loadout with he. The way the tank bowed at 22:09, "hope you enjoyed the match!"
Glad I watched this video. Kpz 07 RH seems like a rather complicated vehicle to fight, so I am glad I didn't waste a lot of time trying to grind to get it. I didn't hear QB mention that this vehicle appears to have an oscillating turret. That would explain the poor turret armor, since it appears to have achieved it's oscillation by having it's actual turret mounted within a full turret ring. Not very efficient design, and not very typically German. This vehicle should actually have an additional damage mode because of this goofy design. The outer turret ring, which cannot be terribly thick, would be easily dented or deformed by shell impacts. This would tend to jamb the turret in elevation. Very problematic in combat. Thanks for the great intel, QB.
I have an engineering beef with this tank. When the turret oscillates down, it should bind with the outer shell in the front and the reverse in the rear when pitching up?
...or vice versa? Also, when the turret is penetrated- the hole should cause a binding between the outer and inner sections? or I am just full of gasss!
I really like what they did with the Panther 8.8, it was powercreeped and now it is quite enjoyable! 280 damage with this type of dpm isn't that bad! It is now up to date to how it was with the intention of its introduction: as strong or slightly weaker than its tier VIII counterpart, the Panther II. For me I prefer the increase in alpha while remaining the dpm over the mobility increase of the Kamfpanzer 07 RH!
This tank looks like it would have had an autoloader if it was produced; the hole at the back of the turret looks like it would be for automatic ejection of spent shell casings.

We absolutely did NOT need yet another PREMIUM GERMAN! Why can’t they just look through old war documents and find some more Japanese, Italian, polish or Swedish tanks? I’m just a plebeian compared to the WG Devs and I know that there are more of those tanks out there. Yes. There were a LOT of German tanks and blueprints but that doesn’t mean that they should just add as many as they can as quick as they can. That over saturates the pool and almost deters seasoned players from wanting to do these challenges. I am not a “seasoned player” by any stretch of the imagination. I’m one of those mediocre players that he speaks off at the end of the video. But! I am a collector. I’ll try my best just to see if I can get it. Just my thoughts! Good quality content as always. The tank has 5.0 dispersion after firing lol, and given the 4 or so sec of reload time, of course you need to use vert stabs to mitigate that (and yes vert stabs improve your dispersion after firing, that’s why it’s super important for autoloaders)

I would've count this tank as a antilight vehicle if not it's poor view range. And still even if u have a low alpha with + and - 25% 250 dmg is the maximum u could do and so as it can low roll. U can trade ur hp in pvp only. So it means you should be a long range sniper. But as we can see from this replay, shells are flying like sh*t. Nah WG you can't get me to buy this one. I still think that bigger alpha is the meta
Ok, I just wanted you to understand that the programmers of WoT's have no clue as to the use of terrain resistance. It is my personal experience of 20 years in the US Army where I personally drove just about every wheeled and tracked vehicle. In my professional experience with these vehicles I find that terrain resistance only affects wheeled vehicles and not tracked vehicles in the sense of speed and acceleration. Though it will affect tracked vehicles in other ways which I will get into. Here is why terrain does not affect speed and acceleration. Track is like a ready made road for the wheels. In other words, the road, track, is picked up and then laid down on the surface of which it is traveling on. That means that a tracked vehicle has the best possible road to drive on all the time. Not once in all my years of driving and commanding these vehicles has terrain been a factor in slowing either the acceleration or the speed of the vehicle. But this is what will happen. Sand; Sand really has not affect on a tracked vehicle other than on tight turns could cause the track to be thrown because of the sudden build up of sand between the track and the road wheels. Wheeled vehicles, however, has a physical slowing feeling when you get into softer sand. In other words, if you are on a paved road and go off into the desert, you will definitely feel a slowing and will have to give it more gas to maintain speed. Also turning in sand with a wheeled vehicle could end in rolling the vehicle if taken to quick, because the front tires will dig up sand as you turn and if to quick will flip the vehicle if you are going fast enough. Snow and Ice; Tracked vehicles are nothing like wheeled vehicles. Remember, the road is picked up and laid down, so it is very different. You will not be able to spin the track on the ice on take off. The vehicles simply way to much and in reality you are pulling/pushing the vehicle forward or backward with the sprocket. Therefore acceleration and speed are not affected by snow and ice. However, turning and stopping are greatly affected by snow and ice. All tracked vehicles weigh in the tons. Sopping and turning such a heavy vehicle on snow and ice is a skill drivers have to master since it is very different than wheeled vehicles. Turning on snow or ice is a much larger turning radius than on normal ground. And there are no quick stops. These vehicles tend to slide a lot at high speeds while trying to turn or stop. Going up slopes I have never had a problem, but going down is another story. Going up you may on occasion hit an icy patch and slow down. But going down you lose a lot of control unless you are a skilled driver, but even then it is very difficult. The weight of the vehicle and gravity pulling you down the hill make it difficult to maintain a slow speed. Even using the breaks at the wrong moment causes you to gain in speed if the slope is steep enough. The best way to go down steep snowy slopes is to put it in low gear and stay off the break as much as possible, even when turning the vehicle. I have many stories of frustration trying to train drivers to turn on a down hill icy slope. It usually ended with me or an experienced driver getting in the driver seat and showing them it will turn if they just leave the break alone. Wheeled vehicles on ice and snow; I think that anyone who drives a car understands how a car acts in these conditions and I don't need to explain this one. You get the idea as a driver who has driven a car in those conditions. Mud, muck, or swamp; Is pretty much the same for a tracked vehicle as snow and ice. The only difference is if you get in to deep you can find your vehicle stuck. Also, just as in sand, if you get to much mud between your track and road wheels you can throw a track. Other wise it does not slow the vehicles speed or acceleration. Wheeled vehicles in mud, muck, or swamp; As anyone can plainly see in any TH-cam video of mudding, wheeled vehicles are greatly affected by these conditions and can sometimes easily become stuck. Ground resistance is not understood in World of Tanks at all. Muddy or swampy areas slow down track vehicles greatly while having little affect on wheeled vehicles. As well as snow and icy terrain it has no affect on wheeled vehicles when they would suffer greatly in those conditions. Now for water. We all know if a car hits a good mud puddle there is a great reduction in speed. This is true for almost all wheeled vehicles. The heavier the vehicle the less the water has an affect on it in slowing it down. The lightest tracked vehicle I have driven is just over 14 tons, APC 113 and Ammo carrier, the heaviest, 72 tons, M1A2 Tank. None of which were ever slowed while crossing any body of water. Now, if you go to deep then you drown the engine, obviously. Now I know that the vehicles in WoT's drive under water for 10 seconds before drowning, I will not complain about it, at least it drowns if you don't get it out. But the slowing of the tracked vehicles would be zero while the slowing of the wheeled vehicles would be greater. Now to prove my point that the developers have no clue as to what they are doing. You show the terrain resistance for the Kampfpanzer 07 RH as the best on hard and medium surfaces and really bad on soft. Fist of all this to me shows ignorance and them just throwing shit out there to make it bad at something. For a vehicle to do worse than heavier vehicles on softer ground, then that vehicle would have to be heavier than all the other vehicles. Also, the tracks would have to be narrower than than they should be which I don't think would be much of a difference. Tracks displace the weight of the vehicle far superior than wheels do. For instance, the weight of an M1A2 is roughly 72 tons fully loaded. On the ground it is spread out over a large surface area causing it to be roughly 20 lbs per square inch. A tire can not get that dispersion of weight and that is why wheels suffer more ground resistance than tracks.
Now we have a german bourasque, a high skilled player with good crews, bond equipment and premium consumables have fun - the rest is dead in 2minutes in the next 15:0 round. thanks.
Sure it can fire 12 rounds a minute.....but some go like 30 degrees upward, others 20 degrees downward, and even one or two that do loopty loops like Looney Toons.

What good is a high rate of fire if (1) it doesn't hit what you aim at, and (2) it doesn't pen what it does hit? Other than slow lights (and who plays those anymore?) who will this tank intimidate? More fodder for tier 10s.
Realistically, this is just a better AMX CDC. It has better top speed, better armor and better gun handling, while only sacrificing a bit of penetration.
Isnt the turret double since its oscillating, meaning that what u pointed out is wrong about the armour thickness or did u calculate that in when u did the comments.
The outer armor on the turret is for some reason not considered spaced armor, but core armor, hence its 80mm, no matter what the armor of the inner turret is.

You again did not mention low profitability of the vehicle as per shell cost, this tank has the 2nd highest shell cost of all four of those tank with the lowest damage.
Also realise: 42 shots, only 26 hits and 22 pens, this penetration won't be enough against higher tier tanks, and the armour won't hold up against the enmies' firepower

I think the HE rounds are going to be great against the Bourasque. Other than that, it'll be fun the first few times I play it, then sit in my garage.

Having watched the replay, I'd say there was a big argument for having the accuracy module on this - instead of either vents or stabs depending on what crew you have. You're going to be sniping a lot and due to slow shell speed, missing fast targets a lot too, so you need to make sure you hit the slower stuff more reliably to take advantage of that dpm.
Quite a few targets, you might be able to thwack really hard with HE too, so it's worth having 15 HE shells on this, I'd say...unless and until WG mess up HE :(
That .35 is feeling more like .53 accuracy in that first battle
little late here, but what would you say is better. the Kunze Panzer or the Kampfpanzer 07 RH? both are glass cannons with great mobility, decent cammo and amazing dpm. the Kunze Panzer is only accuret when its in siege mode, where it sacrifices DPM for gun depression, but its smaler... id like to know!
(we will ignore that one is tier IX and the other one is tier VIII.)

That armor scheme makes me think of how the WT E 100's armor was like: Pretty good hull armor, but turret armor that would make some tier 5's die of laughter.
In any case, this tank makes me think of a Tiger 1 that *didn't* have a severe case of arthritis (I always say that the Tiger 1 is a medium tank with a severe case of arthritis).
I mean, its a tier 5-6 vehicle forced up to tier 7 and given a tier 8 medium tank gun.

The HE is so effective, with 90mm of pen! and dmg of 320, it'd be tasty to hit against Swedish tds and some lightly armoured tanks...just a full loadout with he.

Glad I watched this video. Kpz 07 RH seems like a rather complicated vehicle to fight, so I am glad I didn't waste a lot of time trying to grind to get it. I didn't hear QB mention that this vehicle appears to have an oscillating turret. That would explain the poor turret armor, since it appears to have achieved it's oscillation by having it's actual turret mounted within a full turret ring. Not very efficient design, and not very typically German. This vehicle should actually have an additional damage mode because of this goofy design. The outer turret ring, which cannot be terribly thick, would be easily dented or deformed by shell impacts. This would tend to jamb the turret in elevation. Very problematic in combat. I have an engineering beef with this tank. When the turret oscillates down, it should bind with the outer shell in the front and the reverse in the rear when pitching up?
...or vice versa? Also, when the turret is penetrated- the hole should cause a binding between the outer and inner sections? or I am just full of gasss!
Rubber tracks are good on rough and rocky terrains as well as asphalt and super bad on soft terrain

I really like what they did with the Panther 8.8, it was powercreeped and now it is quite enjoyable! 280 damage with this type of dpm isn't that bad! It is now up to date to how it was with the intention of its introduction: as strong or slightly weaker than its tier VIII counterpart, the Panther II. For me I prefer the increase in alpha while remaining the dpm over the mobility increase of the Kamfpanzer 07 RH!
This tank looks like it would have had an autoloader if it was produced; the hole at the back of the turret looks like it would be for automatic ejection of spent shell casings.
Not to mention the amazing reload :P

We absolutely did NOT need yet another PREMIUM GERMAN! Why can’t they just look through old war documents and find some more Japanese, Italian, polish or Swedish tanks? I’m just a plebeian compared to the WG Devs and I know that there are more of those tanks out there.
Yes. There were a LOT of German tanks and blueprints but that doesn’t mean that they should just add as many as they can as quick as they can. That over saturates the pool and almost deters seasoned players from wanting to do these challenges.
I am not a “seasoned player” by any stretch of the imagination. I’m one of those mediocre players that he speaks off at the end of the video. But! I am a collector. I’ll try my best just to see if I can get it.

The tank has 5.0 dispersion after firing lol, and given the 4 or so sec of reload time, of course you need to use vert stabs to mitigate that (and yes vert stabs improve your dispersion after firing, that’s why it’s super important for autoloaders)

And still even if u have a low alpha with + and - 25% 250 dmg is the maximum u could do and so as it can low roll. U can trade ur hp in pvp only. So it means you should be a long range sniper. But as we can see from this replay, shells are flying like sh*t. Nah WG you can't get me to buy this one. I still think that bigger alpha is the meta
Ok, I just wanted you to understand that the programmers of WoT's have no clue as to the use of terrain resistance. It is my personal experience of 20 years in the US Army where I personally drove just about every wheeled and tracked vehicle. In my professional experience with these vehicles I find that terrain resistance only affects wheeled vehicles and not tracked vehicles in the sense of speed and acceleration. Though it will affect tracked vehicles in other ways which I will get into.
Here is why terrain does not affect speed and acceleration. Track is like a ready made road for the wheels. In other words, the road, track, is picked up and then laid down on the surface of which it is traveling on. That means that a tracked vehicle has the best possible road to drive on all the time. Not once in all my years of driving and commanding these vehicles has terrain been a factor in slowing either the acceleration or the speed of the vehicle. But this is what will happen.
Sand; Sand really has not affect on a tracked vehicle other than on tight turns could cause the track to be thrown because of the sudden build up of sand between the track and the road wheels.
Wheeled vehicles, however, has a physical slowing feeling when you get into softer sand. In other words, if you are on a paved road and go off into the desert, you will definitely feel a slowing and will have to give it more gas to maintain speed. Also turning in sand with a wheeled vehicle could end in rolling the vehicle if taken to quick, because the front tires will dig up sand as you turn and if to quick will flip the vehicle if you are going fast enough.
Snow and Ice; Tracked vehicles are nothing like wheeled vehicles. Remember, the road is picked up and laid down, so it is very different. You will not be able to spin the track on the ice on take off. The vehicles simply way to much and in reality you are pulling/pushing the vehicle forward or backward with the sprocket. Therefore acceleration and speed are not affected by snow and ice. However, turning and stopping are greatly affected by snow and ice. All tracked vehicles weigh in the tons. Sopping and turning such a heavy vehicle on snow and ice is a skill drivers have to master since it is very different than wheeled vehicles.
Turning on snow or ice is a much larger turning radius than on normal ground. And there are no quick stops. These vehicles tend to slide a lot at high speeds while trying to turn or stop. Going up slopes I have never had a problem, but going down is another story. Going up you may on occasion hit an icy patch and slow down. But going down you lose a lot of control unless you are a skilled driver, but even then it is very difficult. The weight of the vehicle and gravity pulling you down the hill make it difficult to maintain a slow speed. Even using the breaks at the wrong moment causes you to gain in speed if the slope is steep enough. The best way to go down steep snowy slopes is to put it in low gear and stay off the break as much as possible, even when turning the vehicle. I have many stories of frustration trying to train drivers to turn on a down hill icy slope. It usually ended with me or an experienced driver getting in the driver seat and showing them it will turn if they just leave the break alone.
Wheeled vehicles on ice and snow; I think that anyone who drives a car understands how a car acts in these conditions and I don't need to explain this one. You get the idea as a driver who has driven a car in those conditions.
Mud, muck, or swamp; Is pretty much the same for a tracked vehicle as snow and ice. The only difference is if you get in to deep you can find your vehicle stuck. Also, just as in sand, if you get to much mud between your track and road wheels you can throw a track. Other wise it does not slow the vehicles speed or acceleration.
Wheeled vehicles in mud, muck, or swamp; As anyone can plainly see in any TH-cam video of mudding, wheeled vehicles are greatly affected by these conditions and can sometimes easily become stuck.
Ground resistance is not understood in World of Tanks at all. Muddy or swampy areas slow down track vehicles greatly while having little affect on wheeled vehicles. As well as snow and icy terrain it has no affect on wheeled vehicles when they would suffer greatly in those conditions.
Now for water. We all know if a car hits a good mud puddle there is a great reduction in speed. This is true for almost all wheeled vehicles. The heavier the vehicle the less the water has an affect on it in slowing it down. The lightest tracked vehicle I have driven is just over 14 tons, APC 113 and Ammo carrier, the heaviest, 72 tons, M1A2 Tank. None of which were ever slowed while crossing any body of water. Now, if you go to deep then you drown the engine, obviously. Now I know that the vehicles in WoT's drive under water for 10 seconds before drowning, I will not complain about it, at least it drowns if you don't get it out. But the slowing of the tracked vehicles would be zero while the slowing of the wheeled vehicles would be greater.
Now to prove my point that the developers have no clue as to what they are doing. You show the terrain resistance for the Kampfpanzer 07 RH as the best on hard and medium surfaces and really bad on soft. Fist of all this to me shows ignorance and them just throwing shit out there to make it bad at something. For a vehicle to do worse than heavier vehicles on softer ground, then that vehicle would have to be heavier than all the other vehicles. Also, the tracks would have to be narrower than than they should be which I don't think would be much of a difference. Tracks displace the weight of the vehicle far superior than wheels do. For instance, the weight of an M1A2 is roughly 72 tons fully loaded. On the ground it is spread out over a large surface area causing it to be roughly 20 lbs per square inch. A tire can not get that dispersion of weight and that is why wheels suffer more ground resistance than tracks.

Sure it can fire 12 rounds a minute.....but some go like 30 degrees upward, others 20 degrees downward, and even one or two that do loopty loops like Looney Toons.

What good is a high rate of fire if (1) it doesn't hit what you aim at, and (2) it doesn't pen what it does hit? Other than slow lights (and who plays those anymore?) who will this tank intimidate? More fodder for tier 10s.

Realistically, this is just a better AMX CDC. It has better top speed, better armor and better gun handling, while only sacrificing a bit of penetration.

Isnt the turret double since its oscillating, meaning that what u pointed out is wrong about the armour thickness or did u calculate that in when u did the comments.
The outer armor on the turret is for some reason not considered spaced armor, but core armor, hence its 80mm, no matter what the armor of the inner turret is.

You again did not mention low profitability of the vehicle as per shell cost, this tank has the 2nd highest shell cost of all four of those tank with the lowest damage.
Also realise: 42 shots, only 26 hits and 22 pens, this penetration won't be enough against higher tier tanks, and the armour won't hold up against the enmies' firepower
