    "If you're having to rely on team mates, you probably aren't playing it right." No greater truth in the game. Sad but true.

      Well, you rely on teammates surviving to win or to be meatshields to farm damage. cant do things alone sadly

    Trading does not just apply to a single shot, dpm matters because you can reload 2 or 3 shots for one shot by the enemy and finding positions to push that advantage is the entire playstyle for heavies/meds

    So i appreciate you trying to help, and some advice was solid, thank you. However, i just started a month ago. I jump around a bunch of tanks at the same time. I try to play everything (not a huge fan of TDs though). But me doing that is what has helped me learn the strengths and weaknesses of each class. For example, i really enjoy light tanks. Everytime i have made a mistake and gotten obliterated early, i took note of where the TDs were, where the mediums were and what their lights were doing. This may sound bad, but when i played the counter opposite, i would remember where my previous enemies were and how they were able to capitalize on my mistakes. My friend who got me into the game, gave me the exact advice you did. They told me to play mediums (specifically the obj140 line) and while he is right, i have thoroughly enjoyed every single tank (about to unlock t54 tonight). It only taught me how mediums played and how mediums died. Switching a little bit through all of the tank classes has given me a better understanding how the whole match is played out and not just from one perspective.
    That being said, the game has evolved into a completely different animal once i got to t7ish, and i will be focusing more on one class (mediums) because the game is much more unforgiving in higher tiers, but i will still be dabbling in a few t8 premiums on the side of all classes to keep a perspective. Cheers

    Minimap ! Most important, positioning and not letting your teammates alone on one side, also the thing with the constantly changing class it's crucial. Good video.

    4:10 i would argue that you should stick to similar tanks, not necessarily the same class. i find myself an okay medium tank player but playing an STA 2 and a Leopard 1 together is not good.

    Hey, I really like your general idea of presenting information to the WOT audience about learning the game. World of tanks is definitely one of a kind of game and every player can have many play styles, In my current channel Ill try to cover this game too from my point of view and I think people really need this kind of content, because many games including this one are played too often impulsive and we often forget to follow our thought pattern and get angry and farmed. Keep it up, we are waiting for more videos like this!

    Using xvm can be also useful for your progress. I've installed it and if I'm seeing by the countdown, wich player is good, I'm go with him and support him. If you have only bad player's with red and orange WN8, I'm knowing for example, that I'm will have no support. This means that I'm will not play aggressive and look only for my damage. In this situation I'm know and accept that the match is lost, before it had started. Wargaming has to rework the matchmaker, this matchmaker brings matches there 1-3 players doing 3-5k damage and the rest of the the team (even toptiers) are doing 800 - 1300 damage. With balanced teams this would not be the case. Epsilon, how do you think about that?

  • @rocket2739

    Beginner advice : download the XVM mod, and observe what the blue players do un every battle so you can copy them

    • @pavelperina7629
      @pavelperina7629 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can work with good initial positions and reacting to the development of battle, but blue players are still not consistent. What annoys me when I need other player to flank enemy to have different angle and when I'm trying to flank enemy he's following me like a dog and we can never have crossfire.

      Do you know that the phase1 can easily penned between the 2 tracks when sidescrapping? Theres a bulge between the tracks under the upper armor and there you can be shot quite easily

    I disagree. Yes, we should all improve by knowing our mistakes in the game but the game is unfair from the start. RNG in everything means there is nothing you can do sometimes even when playing perfect. And that happens more often than not. And if they don't remove this element, there is no way to tell "good" from bad since the discrepancy is around 50% in everything (25% up and down). So now, in this game, it is sometimes the "games' fault".

  • @pavelperina7629
    @pavelperina7629 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very true. Not changing tanks is something interesting. It helps cause I can get shell velocities and preaiming right, I can get some experience like what I can penetrate with 90mm pen HE, how much I need to aim, how close I can get to enemies having only 23% camo and I can sometimes notice some unique ways how to outplay players or safe hitpoints. When I three marked Comet, I learned that it has enough side armor to bait shots, cause players do not aim properly and they think it has no armor whatsoever. It's not good to rely on it, but it's worth trying when you want to outplay IS with long reload on city map and you can't escape. Knowing some small things can help to survive maybe in few percents of games, but when marking tank, it can make a small difference. There are tanks I can play more or less always well (m46 patton, bourrasque, manticore ...) and there are tanks that needs getting used to and are almost impossible to play otherwise (concept 1b due to weird armor and two switchable roles, amx50120, ... for me fast heavies in general)
