"Badger with worse armour" thats a bit of an understatement leopard will bounce more than this thing, and I wouldnt worry about its dpm since the reload is still huge( not that you will ever see one on the battlefield past the first week)
Following the Chinese tank naming scheme, this should be a heavy tank… the first number is always 1 which means tank the 2nd number can have three numbers, if its 1 then its a ht, if its 2 its a mt/mbt, if its a 3, then its a lt then the last number is the generation of the tank

I love that they finally dindt make a super broken tank for the best players! That was what made me quit the game and also because profit in tier 10 without premium is little to non and people only firing gold
ofc ppl only firing gold, just think about it t10 tanks have horrible pen.. there is a huge jump in armor in t10 compared to t9 but most of the tanks are using the same gun on t10 what their t9 counterpart had.. it is just ridiculus.. I mean wg is doing it for a reason, like this you have to spam gold and it won't be profitable to play t10 so you will buy premium and premium tanks.. it is only business

By not giving the best players an overpowered tank, they’re thinking about the balancing aspect which is great from their department. The tier 9 thing is just to make more money to sustain the game. WG releases balanced tanks and reward tanks on the regular though? That doesn't have any bearing on if they'll release one, two, or three OP tanks the rest of the year. And this has been the case for years.
Why is a tank that is both wider and taller than the Grille 15 more stealthy? The Grille 15 should have the highest camo other than the STRV 103B, yet in usual WG fashion it simply doesn't. The balance department is a den of chaos.

This is how WG should introduce new tanks. This tank looks really balanced IMO. Good gun, average mobility, bad armour, average gun depression. Look at VZ - Damn good gun (handling, alpha, reload, intra reload), very good mobility (like mediums), strong armour on turret with small coupola (hull is trolling as well, specially sides), average gun depression. Overall perfect tank!
Honestly...it looks like a properly implemented mid-60's MBT prototype. That was when weapon capability began completely outstripping armor, and led to things like the Leopard, that traded all the (at the time) ineffective armor for mobility and gun performance. This thing then sacrifices more speed for even more gun performance. Sounds like it'd be great for a ERA/Smoke Launcher upgrade.
you should try the colorblind option...bcuz it turns the tank outlines to purple...so it helps alot shooting behind bushes or trees...the Red outline blends alot in all the maps...
Maybe this is how Obj. 705 A should be like? Or just a reversed-Obj. 705 A. Take the armor from Obj. 705 A and give more accuracy, more rate of fire, and then boom! 114SP2 here!

QB this thing looks fun, not a console tank though yet lol. Though we do have the obj 268 v 5. Basically an 8 or 9 heavy tank Hull and turret, with the 705A gun, on a more mobile platform
0.40 dispersion in the turret while moving for the Grille 15...absolutely disgusting considering the lack of penetration that glass td has. It's absolutely ridiculous how nerfed the german td is compared to other tds and with the HE changes there's nothing better, in fact things got even worse.
Came up against one of these things on the SEA server a couple of nights ago. The player must've had every crew skill you could get, because it was no slouch around the battlefield. Saved the replay of it too. Naturally the player was ONLY firing Gold (what a winner!!). Hit me for 646hp.
This tank destroyer promises as it could be used in different roles in my opinion. The curious thing is to see the obj chassis. 277 and what looks like the turret of the modern Russian artillery MSTA-S. Chinese copies are everything xd
Wait, if you want to improve its speed over various terrain wouldn't you go for Additional Grousers instead of a Turbo to improve your terrain resistances and thus boost your speed over terrain? AG will give you better speed over soft/Med/hard terrain then a turbo will and is arguably better value then just slapping a turbo on everything just because it suffers from mobility issues
Regular turbo, yes. Get grousers. If you have bond or bounty turbo use those. The reason is bounty or bond turbo gives 47 effective top speed on hard, and better reverse speed, which you will always meet.
So WG somehow managed to get the balance right on this one, but completely screwed it up on the Concept 1 B? Do they have different studios working on different tank classes?
It looks rather balanced not like a Concept 1B for example. I will play Ranked but not for the 114 SP2 but to rech Division 2 and buy the Concept 1B. During the last Ranked season I bought the Kampfpanzer50t and I am loving it.
I play on the console version but still watch your videos cause a lot of this stuff eventually makes it to console but hearing that this is the first tier X Tank destroyer with a turret since the Waffenträger auf E 100 is very surprising to me since we still have the Waffenträger auf E 100 plus the object 268 v5
It’s a TD at t10, it has awful armor, and that’s with literally everything maxed. In game, you aren’t going to see many of these but even when you do they aren’t going to be crazy good (like the Chieftan)
Im getting it to get the 260, cause I'm terrible in tds and arty because I have zero patience for sniping and camping and generally not actively helping the team, so I die very early in most tds except the v4 but that thing just lacks the flexibility to get me past that 8k threshold, unless 8k worth of heavy tanks wants to sit in front of me and not run away in an attempt to avoid me, I'm going to need something where I can seek the damage myself
I really like this design. I think many streamers don't do it justice by saying it wouldn't be good just because it is not yet another invincible hull down warrior. Variety is what makes things interesting not more and better tanks of the same playstyle.
The only thing I don’t like about these tank reviews is that QB puts the best possible stuff on the tank. I typically have: Standard Equipment, 5-10 gold rounds, crew with ~3 skills, standard consumables. QB has: Bond Equipment, Half ammo is gold rounds, crew ~4/5 skills, FULL MODIFICATIONS, paint, Premium consumables, and directives. Then he reviews this new tank that is like 30% better than it was. Unrealistic. To top it all off, he shows the tank in its optimal position, with crazy lucky RNG when he lands a high amount of shells on low chance hits and generally bad enemies. TLDR: He puts the review tank on a Platinum pedestal in best case situations, which is grossly expensive.
so this thing suffers from the Liberte effect, great all around stats, but its ground resistances are so bad it feels like its driving through mud everywhere.
Not sure why they ground resistances need to be that bad, seriously doubt it would be OP if it could go most places at about 40kph on the flat without needing a bond turbo and almost every mobility boosting thing going. Plus again ground resistances are a hidden stat so if people look at this tank, see the speed, see the engine power they are going to wonder why its so sluggish. Its a boxy easy to hit target with no armour, it doesn't really have a TD gun, it basically has a 705A gun, so why is the mobility so bad. Something with that bad armour should never go 30kph its stupid.
i would still 100% take this over the E4, the only upside to the E4 is bullying tier8s with poor pen, anything above that can pen E4s huge weakspot or just load gold and pen anywhere besides upperplate.
I think your conclusion should have been more positive. How want's another Chieftain, Obj 279 or heaven forbid Wt. E100 in the game? In my opinion there is a strong argument to be made that in their effort to balance impact on the meta with introducing interesting tanks War Gaming has prioritised the latter aspect far too much in recent times.

I was absolutely shocked that one of the smallest tier 10 TDs has less camo than a literal moving bunker like the E3 or 268v4
The Grille is not small at all, its really tall and that generally influences camo.

Not sure why they ground resistances need to be that bad, seriously doubt it would be OP if it could go most places at about 40kph on the flat without needing a bond turbo and almost every mobility boosting thing going. Plus again ground resistances are a hidden stat so if people look at this tank, see the speed, see the engine power they are going to wonder why its so sluggish. Its a boxy easy to hit target with no armour, it doesn't really have a TD gun, it basically has a 705A gun, so why is the mobility so bad. Something with that bad armour should never go 30kph its stupid.
i would still 100% take this over the E4, the only upside to the E4 is bullying tier8s with poor pen, anything above that can pen E4s huge weakspot or just load gold and pen anywhere besides upperplate.
You have to be armoured or be the speed, well and autoreloader or loader is nice too, or high dpm or high alfa and i dont see any of theese
you are actually faster when using Additional Grouser instead of a turbo
but it is not as good as a bond turbo (only minor deffernce)
I loved the T30, so i think i might like this one too... The problem is this is a reward tank, and i don't have the time to spend in ranked battles :/
Thats a good tank without OP stats. If they keep this level with tier 9 premiums and maybe start nerving tier 8 premiums this game will be playable

In my opinion there is a strong argument to be made that in their effort to balance impact on the meta with introducing interesting tanks War Gaming has prioritised the latter aspect far too much in recent times.

WOT camo rate is proportional to height of the tank and grille 15 is taller than 114SP
This makes me dread the thought of a fully turreted SU-152 coming out in the future.
