In this med school vlog / med student vlog, I share what a week in my life looks like while studying surgery in medical school. I talk through what I’m learning, my typical routine, and some of the interesting things I see on the wards and in theatres. Enjoy!

It’s a mixture of emotions: excited, overwhelmed, depressed,…etc.
Nothing can prepare you for this workload. This is why I can’t even think about my rotation years. Very happy you are in your clinical yrs.

I really wanted to pursue medicine because it really fascinates me about how diverse and complex the field is-but I'm still on the process of getting my Chemical Engineer license (crossed-fingers) this year. I just hope I still have the curiosity and fascination to pursue it later on.
