I have same colors. My pink alittle lighter like pastel ❤

Their beautiful cars. A real time capsule to when cars had so much more personality.

Nice Thunderbird. I love the color. In case you didn't know, the valve covers, air cleaner, spark plug wires, coil are not original equipment. They look nice though. The original fan shroud is missing as well as the heavy bumpers in the door jambs on the door. Your master cylinder looks original and the cap is not only original but rare. Do not throw it away. If your fixing ground problems, start with the battery cables. You can purchase original reproduction cables from any of the Thunderbird dealers. Also you may have the wrong battery. Right now it is reversed, terminals should be to the back with positive next to the fender. The original battery is a 27F. The original trans is a Cruisomatic 3 speed automatic. If someone changed the trans fluid then you cannot judge anything based on that. Brake fluid evaporates quickly so if its low, that is not necessarily a sign that something is leaking. The engine is a bit noisy. Using Marvel Mystery Oil helps to clean and loosen things up in the engine. I use 2-3 quarts of Marvel with 3 quarts of engine oil and I run it for at least 1/2 hour. Doing that on several days, several times a day is good. Installing a high volume oil pump and using Lucas 20/50 racing oil with Lucas oil conditioner is also good. The smoking on the left bank of the engine is not good. Maybe pull the valve cover and take a gander inside, see whats growing in there. good luck.

Yeah I thought it had been worked on quite a bit. I wish the fan shroud wasn't missing but it's holding temp well at least. The smoke on the one side ended being buildup on the top of the head clogging the rear drain port and causing the oil to pool up and leak out the old valve cover gasket. I've got it clean and flowing again now. So far no more smoke under the hood or out back!

I was off by a year.64 w/ 390cu in.Nice.Grounds are a big prob that people don't think about. That crappy brake fluid got shoved into the lines when they tried to use them.Yikes.I'd pull them off at the wheels and flush them and the wheel cylinders.Tough choice on painting it black again,or white.I'd go white as the original Coral paint looks great,as does the interior. The radials add a bit to the steering play, but the ride's better.Happy Thanksgiving!

Yeah I’m hoping a fluid flush will bring the old brakes back around. I’d love to see it painted all white under the hood again but it depends on where my buddy wants to go with it. Right now we’re just making it go and stop lol

My car also cranks on on position 😅😢

It could be the same issue. Our 2 wires on the starter solenoid were backwards and the wire that gets energized on crank position had a break in it somewhere. I ran a new wire from the ignition switch to the solenoid.
