It is graceful in spades, and just looking at it, you can tell that it was designed to spend most of its flying time flying high and fast, where it's most efficient.
The lift at near 90 degrees banking is totally unreal. Those wings seem to be working some kind of magic.
Plus powerful General Electric engines
The 777X is one of those aircraft that you just can't hate. Overall it's hard to believe how much lift those huge wings generate, the main gear starts to lift off before the pilots even rotate. And of course the absoloutely powerful General Electric GE9X engines. It's really hard to believe that they're the same width as of a 737. I've flown on a 737 many times, and the cabin isn't that small.

Wonderful video, thanks so much for sharing. I don't know if it's just me but the 777-9 just looks perfect proportions wise. Long but not too long, wide but not too wide, the giant engines hanging off those huge new wings give it a really elegant look.

The 777x is a worthy successor to the Queen. It's an absolutely amazing aircraft.
737 Max did this rocket take-off too, but stayed grounded many months after two crashes.

Boeing engineers are artists. At many moments when the plane turns/banks it looks like a bird smoothly gliding and the quick responses make it look its dancing through the air. I hope it is a successful aircraft.

Largest Jet engines ever created by man.
@@girijaa1 Technically the GE90 produces 5000 pounds more thrust than the newer GE9X but the GE9x has a 1.5 inch bigger diameter than the GE90... both engines are insane.. i was at the end of a runway when a 777 took off --- the ground SHAKES like crazy at take off.. its insane..
@@covert0overt_810 Yup, GE90-115 still the world's most powerful jet engine, but slightly smaller in size than the new GE-9X. Both are still enormous engines, a school bus hanging off each wing, really is a sight to see when you are up close to it.
@@covert0overt_810 Oh one more thing, both the GE90 and GE9X tested way higher than their rated power output when they were first put into service. Both produced more than 127,000 lb thrust in tests, but the GE90 was rated at 115K and the GE9X at 110K. The overall aircraft weight is less because of the composite wing on the 777-9X which reduces weight compared to the 777-300ER which has an aluminum wing.

Those vertical takeoffs are about 90% engine thrust and 10% momentum. Beautiful design. Surprisingly maneuverable. Nice job Boeing and GE.

Very sharp. Like the 777-300ER and the 747-400ER, the 777-9's wingspan and tail height is wider and higher, respectively, than that of the 747-8intercontinental and cargo. And sadly this coming October will mark the very last production of the 747🥺. What a waste. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
