Girl I 1000,000% agree with you. I worked with Outback for years and many of those were spent I take away! Years ago take away was booming. People were tipping as if they were having a dine in experience. Now that Uber and door dash have come along the situation has changed. The store I worked at ( and very recently) paid $2.13 per hr for takeaway vets as well as hires. Somehow I finally got a raise to an astonishing $4 While I was so seasoned and training someone to make the same pay this ticked me off! Stand up for yourself and your mates. People don’t understand that tips are our income. IMO

The woman deserved to be fired and was not entitled to a tip. She did not deliver the food to the church nor did she serve the food to the church. It's a known fact that wait staff are paid a lesser minimum wage, how ever if as she claimed that she prepared the food then she is not wait staff and should be getting paid the minimum wage that regular employee gets which is $7.25/ hour in Texas. If her employer is under paying she needs to go to the labor board. McDonald's employees don't get tips for preparing the food, why should she?

You don’t know anything, if someone orders $ 700 worth of food, she still prepares the order and makes sure everything that they ordered are included in the customers bags. This is completely unacceptable that they did not tip in the first place but it is wrong on paper to complain about these stuff especially on social media.

@@denniscanan No it is not, you not entitle to a tip on take out, it that simple. Do you tip mcdonalds employees? Betting you don't. She wants tips, her options is become delivery driver or waitress. FYI delivery drivers don't get same amount of tip as waitress does, as the driver does not refill my drink, bring me clean eating utensils ETC.

@@sparky603 i also worked as a takeaway at Outback that’s why I know. You are not supposed to tip at all but it is expected to tip especially if you have money to buy 700$ of food you should at least tip 7 dollars? But ypu are right some people don’t really care.

The whole entire idea of a tip is at a restaurant? Also TIPS stand for to insure prompt service. So no tip, worse service.
