Sad truth is I work in front thousands of customers everyday and the amount of parents that say nasty words because they are upset at something or someone In front of their kid or baby is baffling. Then they wonder why their kids hate them when they get older or become bad kids growing up. Yesterday I went to a taco bell restaurant. The food was horrible, the service was horrible. The employees were black and all you hear behind the counter were f bombs. I will never go back there again and I noticed there was nobody else there. One black lady worker was sitting in a chair playing video games and put a drive up window customer on hold. Nasty nasty people.

First media should be questioning the district and regional managers. The moment they were told to turn off their cameras they should have. Them contacted the manager. It makes me sick when people do that in front of their kids. I had a woman flip out on me because it made her feel insecure when I passed her crappy little car legally, in a passing lane. She went to the same convenience store where I was going and got out with her little elementary age son, shouting about how I was a clown face b-word (because I had a little bit of makeup on). The reporter was told to leave and refused to comply. That is private property. The custodians of said property don't have to call the police to have a reporter removed. If it were left up to that, the transgession might not be addressed at all. Not to mention the fact that we have rights. We don't get those from police.

If the reporters decided to tell the police that their equipment was damaged then one or all of those Dennys employees who touched it would have been arrested that day and likely sued by the news station for whatever damages they could prove. The employees conducted themselves poorly and were in a losing battle from the start by not controlling themselves, they're lucky the outcome wasn't worse from their actions.
They actually don't have a right to film on private property and can be trespassed. The manager should have just trespassed them and called the cops. The health concerns are valid but if they are still operating then it was a decision made by the health department to let them continue. Honestly, with the turnover in fast food and difference in shifts, it is possible most these people had nothing to do with it anyways.

Coming from a restaurant owner, that staff gotta go. Unacceptable behavior, makes you think about how they respect customers, fellow employees and the food you’re eating and paying for. I know times are tough and finding good workers is a hit or miss, we’ve been there but I’m happy they’re shut down! There’s plenty of food establishments I’ve been to that need this sort of exposure as well.

All they had to say was, "I do not consent to you filming me and I feel harassed. Neither I nor my staff needs to answer your questions. At this point, I feel that you are creating a hostile environment in our place of business and causing undue stress to the patrons. Please leave. Any further questions or filming will be construed as harassment due to incessant questioning and blocking patrons."

I've been to the US and I was genuinely surprised by the prevalence of unhealthy food and restaurants which serve such food. Healthy food doesn't have to be expensive at all (like in my country). I just checked American CDC's statistics, and the obesity in the US is 42%, I feel shocking and “no wonder" at the same time.

When I was in college, I was a server at Red Lobster. I would have cracked up if my bosses had to deal with this. When they asked me to be a restaurant manager, I couldn't stop laughing. You can't pay people enough to do that job.

Yesterday I went to a taco bell restaurant. The food was horrible, the service was horrible. The employees were black and all you hear behind the counter were f bombs. I will never go back there again and I noticed there was nobody else there. One black lady worker was sitting in a chair playing video games and put a drive up window customer on hold. Nasty nasty people.

The reporter was told to leave and refused to comply. That is private property. The custodians of said property don't have to call the police to have a reporter removed. If the reporters decided to tell the police that their equipment was damaged then one or all of those Dennys employees who touched it would have been arrested that day and likely sued by the news station for whatever damages they could prove. The employees conducted themselves poorly and were in a losing battle from the start by not controlling themselves, they're lucky the outcome wasn't worse from their actions.

The health concerns are valid but if they are still operating then it was a decision made by the health department to let them continue. Coming from a restaurant owner, that staff gotta go. Unacceptable behavior, makes you think about how they respect customers, fellow employees and the food you’re eating and paying for. I know times are tough and finding good workers is a hit or miss, we’ve been there but I’m happy they’re shut down! There’s plenty of food establishments I’ve been to that need this sort of exposure as well.

The news crew should’ve went back to that location to verify what “immediate action” was taken against those employees. They all should’ve been fired and arrested for assault.
The restaurant ended up closing. Unsure if they reopened. Very immature and unprofessional staff. This is why you have to firmly vet your employees and just don't have warm bodies there. All they had to say was, "I do not consent to you filming me and I feel harassed. Neither I nor my staff needs to answer your questions. At this point, I feel that you are creating a hostile environment in our place of business and causing undue stress to the patrons. Please leave. Any further questions or filming will be construed as harassment due to incessant questioning and blocking patrons."

I've been to the US and I was genuinely surprised by the prevalence of unhealthy food and restaurants which serve such food. Healthy food doesn't have to be expensive at all (like in my country). I just checked American CDC's statistics, and the obesity in the US is 42%, I feel shocking and “no wonder" at the same time.
The level of entitlement that they think its ok for them to push and slap and threaten and yell is insane. I see fast food places like this all the time.
