Some nice jobs there, @30:00 - hope that boiler is out of warranty, as access is an HSE issue, I have seen a few in very strange locations, even one bolted to the side of a narrowboat in a cupboard. sometimes a quick way pays off and sometimes it does not, but it is always worth a go tho. @41:00 that fan sounded a bit noisy too. Some good fault finding tho. and nothing wrong with the length of the vid at all, I thought it was better, a cuppa and biscuits and a good watch. keep up the good work.
Please start protecting customers worktops and surfaces mate! It makes me cringe everytime I see the spanners and tools on worktops and sinks - sackabe offense on my firm. Only takes one scratch or dent to mean a new worktop at potential of £1000's!! Throw a towel down under tools and toolboxes and your a winner! 2nd tip of the day involving a towel, cover the gas pipe and valve when cleaning HEX, especially when your spraying water, to avoid contamination of the gas valve that then needs replacing...... Keep up the good work, and it's nice to see guys investing in new tools and gear to get the job done better
I use Rapid Blue Stuff from Today's Tools. It goes off in minutes, but if you make a mistake with it you'll struggle to get it back off as it goes rock hard!
I was told the opposite! 😂 Trainer said don't take the electrodes out unless they need replacing as there's a risk of the nuts snapping inside the hex and then you got an even bigger problem. Not a fan of aluminium hex in any boiler
That's usually just so they are not wet and shorted out, meaning that the boiler will not fire again when you rebuild it I believe. Obviously the electrodes sit inside the HEX that is exposed to high moisture levels anyway, hence why they are made from moisture resistant materials.
Lamp Master another brilliant video keep making them please,❤
Thank you 👍🏾

My thoughts on 99% of these TH-cam trade related videos.
Said the same on another video, just had sarcastic comment back, if your going to make videos for you tube you’ve got to be spot on.
@@paulsmith2931 can't have much of a life if all you do is go around ripping people's TH-cam videos 😂 nobody's forcing you to watch it!
Yes mate 😉🙌🏼🙌🏼
Cheers Mark!
Great content mate, I’m an apprentice and always can take something away from these videos

@@cputilitysolutions nice!
I always try the short way and end up doing it the long way in then end. 😂
Yup you know it!
Those worcester AAV's are also compatible with some Baxi's and Vokera's too - lifesaver tbh
Mad how much they differ in price just for the different brands!
Let us know what happens with the logic be interesting to know it was defo gas valve!
Will do!
I’m sure I went to an ideal course saying you shouldn’t get those electrodes wet
