The first one it looked like the red cable grommet was missing underneath as they had put all the cables through one hole. If that’s the case this breaches the room seal integrity
Love the breakdowns, only gripe would be nice to see the repairs little more closely especially swapping that condense trap, did you have to take out the fan? Thanks for your continued content mate
love your videos mate you're a top engineer but on the heat only promax didn’t see you check the burner, red combustiion seal or flue seal top of HEX? there's a reason those electrodes fail like that
I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I enjoyed doing the work that day 😅 don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏾

Great videos, Im just starting my journey as a Gas Engineer. How did you build your client base and attract work when you first started?
Thanks - have a look at my video "Who Am I"

Would a good cleanup of the old trap may have worked ?

@@AlanJones-f5l good shout, the boiler's coming out in the new year regardless as they want to upgrade the system altogether
Great vid mate especially helpful on the potterton
I always struggle to get the condense trap black connector on normally leaks
Yeah it can be a bit fiddly that one
@cputilitysolutions is it easier to screw on the black connection on first to the boiler than after put the trap in.
@b1h2u3p4 I screwed it onto the trap first and then flex it onto the boiler connection
With pricing up the last job would that be a call out charge only?
Yup 👍🏾
Another BG compartment label, have they got any customers left?
Probably not
as a BG engineer glad to get it off contract 😂😂
@AlanJones-f5l I bet 😂
Your surely not swapping a board for a diagnostic check????
What do you mean?
