I so appreciate your clear, concise explanations. And! Your fingers & thumbs don’t obscure parts of stitches I need to see… Wish I had found you on day one! 😎❤️
I just made this , took me about 3 hours, I'm mot a fast crocheter, but it was so easy to follow and looks complicated. It finishes beautifully. Thank you 😊
Hello Sarah 👋 I love the simplicity of this stitch and you made that simple to make. I have made two and working on my third. Thank you so much for all that you do for this crochet community, your time, your celebration everything. God-bless and Jesus hugs 🤗 🫂
It looks elegant and very good taste on colors...I am very grateful for your time and love the way you teach. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing your experiences and your wonderful ways to make crochet an art. God bless you always and your wonderful family.
This is a stunning stitch, but WOW, even as an experienced crocheter, I'd really have to pay close attention to creating this lovely hat- this ain't a "sit and watch tv, while crocheting a hat", type of pattern 😉 amazing and beautiful, though 😍 👌 thank you❣
Hi Sarah. I absolutely love your tutorials. You always give such clear and step by step explanations. I just want to crochet everything 😄Thank you for your tutorials.
Hi and thank you for always having such nice, free tutorials. I have one question for this pattern though. I printed it out but also like to have this visual too :) On the written directions, rounds 2-5 are hdc in the third loops. Then round 5 is listed on its own and different from the round 5 that I just did. Maybe a typo? I've already done round 5 as hdc in each stitch. That's when I noticed the next round 5. I just did it anyways. I suppose if I read it wrong, I've got an extra row. It's ok though, I have a large head... lol.🙃🧶🪡
Hi there, glad I found you. Just a quick question, the yarn you used is bulky, right? If so, can I replace it with a worsted yarn#4? I just don’t have a bulky yarn on hand.
Hi Sarah, I'm a little confused on third loop. After the first round working the third loop will third loop continue to be in the back of the top two loops.
Yes, it's the same for rounds 2-5 . You don't turn your work until the row that starts the feather stitch. I'm working on this hat right now and about to start the feather stitch row.
I am new to crocheting using gauges. I never bothered with them before. I want to make your Easy Thermal Beanie in the thermal stitch. The gauge is 24 stitches x 22 rows of thermal stitch = 4 inches. Does this mean I should end up with a square of 4” by 4”?
I dont understand why i always end up with too large hats.. i alreay reduced the foundation to 52 stitches and it still was too big. With 22 inches not including the stretch.. probably my gauge ? I only started crochet 2 months ago… 😭

It's beautiful!!😍 Thank you!!!💕
I think it would be helpful if you had the Feather St Cl explained under "Stitches and Abbreviations" on your blog.
Thank you! Love it!
What color is this of the lion brand scarfie yarn? I looked in the joann website, they do not list this one.
I just made one and it's very easy
Love this hat! I have a line of hdc going down the back anyway to make it less noticeable?
I have been waiting for a new tutorial hat
Molto bello🥰
Gorgeous pattern...I have a chunky 5 at yarn I want to use....should I go down a hook?
Nice Hat.....not for beginners ☺️🤗

Wonder if fs can be worked spiral top down?
Please tell me what size cap is this? It looks so nice.
Muy bonito pero se me hace un poco complicado. Saludos desde la CDMX.
Hi Sarah, I'm a little confused on third loop. After the first round working the third loop will third loop continue to be in the back of the top two loops.
@Cherie Smith
When you are looking at the V it’s the loop farthest away from you. Most crocheters call it the back loop
@@virginiacave9888 hi, thank you for your reply. Yes, but when you work rows and turn your work does the third loop become in the front?
@@cheriesmith9757 no it does not. When you turn your work continue to work in the loop fartherest from you as you did in the previous row
Yes, it's the same for rounds 2-5 . You don't turn your work until the row that starts the feather stitch. I'm working on this hat right now and about to start the feather stitch row.

Yes - if you work 24 stitches and then 22 rows of the thermal stitch then you should end up with a 4 inch square :)
