You are supposed to trench around the periphery of your tent and make one more trench on the low side to direct water away from the tent. Sometimes this is learned the hard way.

Franchement je ne vois pas ou est le plaisir de batailler pour monter une tente lourde, récalcitrante, pleine d'eau, sous une pluie battante dans le froid, les pieds dans l'eau, pour rester ensuite coincée dedans. There's a fun fact that I and other campers in rain don't feel cold because we wear rain coat and moving around to take videos. Body heat is trapped under the rain coat. But, thanks for the idea using big tent. I hope I can get other big tents for my videos.

As I suspected..when it comes to erecting a monster in a torrential downpour, help is appreciated 👍🏼❤ ..and that's not a puddle that's a LAKE 🤨😱 Wow..that's probably the most cyclonic storm I have seen anyone camp though.. truly awesome. Thank you very much for sharing your experience 🇦🇺🦘👋❤👍
Next time look for a place that doesn’t get flooded. If you r paying for the space let them know that it wasn’t worth the time u spend there cuz it floods.

For safety, maybe make a small trench around your tent using a piece of stick so that the water drains away.

I like seeing big tents. It would be nice if you could put up a tent at least once without getting soaked with rain. You must have been freezing cold.
