This is a great video. I just got my truck back from the shop. I have to replace the EGR cooler and the EGR. I wasn’t sure if I should do it myself but 3 shops have let me down with repairs lately and I did them all myself. You made a great video and I’m going to get this job done now. I still got the original egr with actuater..yours looks like the detroit new and improved system..

M thinking of doing this soon. Got that ugly fix installed but the situation is worsening now. When I need power, the engine hiccups aters 1400rpms and there is a sudden drop in the boost for a fraction of second with a puff of black smoke. Feela like the egr valve is not working properly.

sick of this egr crap,, have to by pass it some how,,,, waste of money and pain in the ass
