    I felt the information you shared was helpful for anyone just getting into quilting. I agreed with everything you said during this video. Except I never starch my fabric. I do pre wash most not all yardage. I never wash precuts. That is looking for trouble. I primarily pre wash when I think color bleeding could be an issue. But I have also used the color catchers sheets in un pre washed finished quilts. For those just in case moments. I think everyone learns the hard way. Even when they have been warned. LOL

    Kit-approximately what is the cost for the “quilt kit” that comes with the instructions and material? I really enjoyed this video and learned a lot. Keep up the great work! From your favorite sister-in-law!

      Hi, sister-in-law! A full kit like the one in the video is about $150 plus about $80 for the backing kit. Check out FatQuarterShop.com for more specific costs based on the quilt size and complexity. This one is probably not listed as it was a kit they sold along with their Make-a-Wish fundraiser last year. Kits can also be purchased in neighborhood quilt shops and on other fabric/quilt shop sites.
