Very nice job on it , im going to get started on mine this fall. I got a 51 or 52 not sure its got a funk conversion 6 cylinder , Sherman up down transmission and 2 gas tanks.
Am helping out on a farm with an old 8N. The push button starter has a tab on it, but no wire attached to it. I presume a wire needs to be attached to the tab, and then run over to some spot on the wiring block OR the starter solenoid. Any guidance on where I need to hook up the starter button to? You did a FANTASTIC job on this machine, looks considerably better than the one I am trying to get running.
@@josharchervlogs7386 pretty certain it is 12 volt - I put a volt meter on the battery and got a strong 12 volt reading, so I pressed that starter button and it did exactly nothing. So made me start looking around for information on these 8N tractors, this is the first one I have ever seen in person. I am a bit in the dark!
Beautiful job! It looks new. Could you give me the exact paint number of the Rust Oleum Almond you used on the body parts of your tractor. I have a very old looking '54 and I want to duplicate what you did. What did you paint the exhaust system with. I agree! It really "Pops" against the red. I want to do the same. (Did the black stay on?) Thanks so very much!
Always nice to see another restoration project and another 8N Ford saved from the shredder! Nice job 😀🇨🇦
Looks good. Great job

Also you will want to buy a override clutch for the pto shaft
Stay safe

Nice job! Mine looks nothing like that....yours is immaculate.
Purring like a kitten! Exactly job!
Great job on tractor, however if bush hogging I would order a front radiator grill screen,
You do not want to stop up your radiator, get engine hot,

@guns2317 look at the edge of the wiring harness by the ignition. The white wire is the one that goes to the button
@@josharchervlogs7386 Thanks! I will be back over at the farm later this week. Appreciate the response greatly.
