The English word 'Halloween' comes from "All Hallows' Eve", being the evening before the Christian holy days of All Hallows' Day (All Saints' Day) on 1 November and All Souls' Day on 2 November. -wiki

There's another way to say "trick or treat". It's "demanding money or goods with menaces" and it's a crime. It was never a thing in this country, but the old cultural cringe is in full flood and if Yanks do it so must we. It isn't even pumpkin harvest *season* here, it's the beginning of pumpkin *planting* time so it makes no sense to use pumpkins as decorations. But Yanks in the old hemisphere do it, and so must we. Sorry guy, it's a gate opener it has taken me 43 years to realize it's sweet trickery. 🙏🏾
I’d be very careful when it comes to following the judgement of two people who have, at one point, given their lives into the hands of Satan. The fact that they’ve turned away from that doesn’t mean we have to follow them as our spiritual leaders, now.
Fr like why should I take advice from someone that was foolish enough to worship the devil? Good for him that he's out of that now, but there are many more knowledgeable theologians that I'll take advice from before I listen to him.
The question for any Christian is why would you want to celebrate Halloween when the origin can be traced back to Samhain the lord of death and evil spirits? Halloween is rooted in evil that's the top and bottom of it, (no, a believer cannot be under a curse) but even if you dress your child up in a nice costume the root of anything is important. If Christians insist on celebrating it I believe they should make sure to keep them from getting involved in the darker aspects of the day. If Christians are going to take part in Halloween, their attitude, dress, and most importantly, their behavior should still reflect a redeemed life.
IP. What's your take on the idea to change the tradition of haloween instead of scary costume it should be saints because according to some Filipino priest hallow means holy. Is this right?
In the UK bonefire night is celebrated on November 5th. It is a time I have always hated since being a child as never understood why anyone would want to celebrate burning at the stake. It wasn't until I became an adult that I understood the connection between Halloween and bonefire night. There is nothing worthy of celebrating in my opinion. Many Christians pray to and for the dead on Nov 1st this is a useless and unbiblical practice. The period between October 31st and November 5th is a high season for druid/ witches. Halloween is harmful - it is focussed on violence when we allow our children to watch blood and gore we shouldn’t be surprised when they cannot differentiate between truth and fantasy. Violence has become normalised in society and some of the films that used to be released at Halloween have been part of the de-sensitising. One of the most popular ways children are introduced to the occult is at Halloween through the popular so called harmless practices.
One of the best things my dad ever told me was that... Halloween isn't really a holiday and if I wanted to find out about it he would take me to learn about it so I went to the library I learned about it then he told me you don't have to beg for candy I'll buy you candy whenever you'd like. I'm glad he never forced that because some of the school teachers that I had to deal with and it country School always thought they had the right to demand that we dress up in costume. I didn't have to do that because both my parents agreed that if I didn't want to I didn't have to so I didn't. Then I was one of those kids that didn't care for Valentine's Day.. Thanksgiving... I want to go older pretty much not Christmas because December 25th was not when Jesus was born nobody knows except God Mary and Jesus. Also the Bible tells the wise men did not meet him in a manger surrounded by a bunch of animals.
God is light and devil is darkness. Simple do you want to dress your kid? Do it November the 1 st day off the Saints that’s what my perish does all the kids come with there favorite saints costumes.

"Whatever is not of faith is sin" If you don't have the faith that you can go out and celebrate holloween without God having a problem with it then you shouldn't do it regardless of what others tell you. Romans 14:13-23 KJV [13] Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. [14] I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. [15] But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. [16] Let not then your good be evil spoken of: [17] for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. [18] For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. [19] Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. [20] For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. [21] It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. [22] Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. [23] And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. 1 Corinthians 8:9-13 KJV [9] But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. [10] For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; [11] and through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? [12] But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. [13] Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. Now holloween is more than just witches cursing candy, there is origin of practices, there is pagan worship, there is indulgence of perversion, there is practice of imitations(imitation of demons, witches, monsters), and there is seeking that which causes fear which can become a snare for people.
If you ar Christian, every aspect of you life is questioned and judged. The bottom line is: You are always wrong. Whatever you are doing is a sin. Even though Jesus saved you, You are still going to burn in hell forever.
I get it now. I’ve been trying to work out whose side you’re on for a long while as you seem to troll Christians a lot. I now can see you must be a highly knowledgeable and confident ex-Christian, giving the worldly Christians the push they want to be as worldly as they like.
Christains have changed anyway. In fact, Muslims are actually more Christain because they are still putting people to death for breaking the Law of God. Since Christains are supposed to follow Mosiac Law in the Old Testament. Since Jesus is telling you all to follow him and his commandments are love your neighbour and love your God. Which to Love your God is following his commandments from the Old Testament. Jesus didn't came to abolish the law but fulfilled it. The Law of God has 613 commandments. Have you obeyed all of them?
John Ramirez is right and you are wrong buddy! Honor the dead not celebrate their death! God makes it very clear that He does not want us to take part in evil, no matter how harmless, or fun it may appear to be, the root of that thing is still wickedness, darkness, and destruction. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 says “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” ❤
Okay I understand your points what does scripture tell us; to separate ourselves from the things of the world not everything is beneficial, that my creator the God of all creation says in his word he does not want us to have idols he’s jealous for us. One day we will give an account for all we did. An idol is anything you put ahead of him in your life. Sadly when we partake no matter how small or insignificant we view it, justify it or reconcile it, he looks at our heart.(motive) why we partook. Did we do it for self gratification or to pls and obey him. Just my simple take on my understanding of applying scripture in life and the weight of our actions with accountability. Lets also add something commonsensical aswell; TRUE OR FLASE the rest of the 364 days of the year we teach our children not to talk to strangers, and definitely not to take candy from the stranger. Why is it on that day, We throw all of that out the window. Make it make sense (totally twisted) If your still reading God loves you so very much. He wants to hear from you. He want a relationship with you. God bless you ❤
A quick google image search tells me if I should be involved with halloween. 1 Corinthians 8:7-14 Do not partake of such things which would embolden your brethren with weak conscience to stumble.

My question is what do Christians have to do with anything that promotes fear or darkness? Remember Paul's admonishment in 2 Corinthians 6:15-20. We are to be separate from the things of the world.
I'm so happy to see a proper correct sound and useful application en the infamous "into rhe nouth" passage.
People think you can accidentally worship Satan or something.
You take the time to do good work. This stuff passes most of us as obviously ridiculous (I hope) but you take the time to address these things (and it’s fun). Thanks!
John Ramirez straight up preached and lied that if you celebrate Halloween you’re going to Hell. Buddy, nowhere in the Bible it says that. 🤦🏽♂️ Dude is gonna have to answer for his lies one day.
Thank you for this.
This is a holiday that can be fun and innocent but requires parental supervision.
I kid you not, my mother from September to October 25th goes on tangents about how Halloween is evil and wrong and she's passing out candy to the little brats this year. She has said this every year for the last 15 years. And a few days before Halloween, she buys a ton of candy for the trick or treaters. This was the first year I called her out on it.
Not everything that’s not written down specifically is profitable.
All these problems in the world and these guys worry about haloween candy
These people are seriously out here getting mad over the fact that my little sister and her friend dress up as dragons and collect candy. 😂
You did it again love your videos!!!
Sent this to my dad wish me luck god bless me.
Sp🎃🎃ky
The tradition of wearing costumes on All Hallows Eve in the West started with Irish (or was it Italian?) immigrants, who donned these costumes to mock the devil and revel in Christ's victory
I literally use you to remind me when it is Halloween.
No Christian should celebrate Halloween.
Nothing wrong with dressing up or anything
You've changed my mind about this. I believe Halloween is fine to celebrate.
Have the same approach. Pray, repent, fast, listen and/or read the scriptures. I have this approach in my walk with Christ whether it be Halloween or whatnot I was saved by the Cross, I'm saved today and I can't wait to be saved for all eternity. ☦️ Pray, Fast, repent, and read and/or listen to the scriptures. May God be with you all.
Thanks!
Bro knew who was about to come on the screen lol 😂
*John Ramirez appears on screen* Michael: How many times do I have to teach you this lesson, old man?!?!?
Halloween is hallows Eve which is the night before all saints day which all saints day is a recognized holiday that has been celebrated by Christians for the longest time.
I have been told that if i ever did anything Halloween related, it was satanic, and i was doing things against god. I am a Christian and i tend to defend Halloween over modern-day Christmas (i see more greed from the holiday but if celebrated for the birth of jesus is a great thing).
The English word 'Halloween' comes from "All Hallows' Eve", being the evening before the Christian holy days of All Hallows' Day (All Saints' Day) on 1 November and All Souls' Day on 2 November. -wiki
Speaking truth and Scripture straight up
So like, if you leave the door unlocked and open while you go on vacation for a week the best security system in the world won't help you. That's the point of what John is saying.
Lord help me, I'm really struggling with what comes out of my mouth 🙏
No one, no one, no prayer of any kind hurts a christian unless the christian believes it
Everything in life is a choice. If you choose to do something, you will be a Accountable1 day. That being said, I can feel the demonic energy right around that day. Sometimes spiritual discernment sucks. But it's the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Sigh.
It also says not to follow traditions of men or conformed to this world.
That's such a thinline, BRO. I would rather NOT dance so close. It's a slippery slop, my guy. You're kids dressed like Mario and Luigi going to homes with traditional scary halloween deco etc., a little older t at friends house where they're watching scary movies or a movie with a little lite witchcraft, but that's harmless right? Then, as a teen shopping, they see a similar spell book or tarro cards just like in their favorite move, and it's no big deal right. WRONG.
Yes they should because it's like saying should Atheists celebrate christmas😂😂😂😂
Hey, I have a personal question, what’s the dumbest claim/critique that you’ve heard a Protestant (of any denomination) make on Catholics.
I see Halloween as a time to watch horror movies and eat candy or play a game of Cards Against Humanity or poker with the boys.
Is John Ramirez gonna lie to me again 😂😂
The question for any Christian is why would you want to celebrate Halloween when the origin can be traced back to Samhain the lord of death and evil spirits? Halloween is rooted in evil that's the top and bottom of it, (no, a believer cannot be under a curse) but even if you dress your child up in a nice costume the root of anything is important. If Christians insist on celebrating it I believe they should make sure to keep them from getting involved in the darker aspects of the day. If Christians are going to take part in Halloween, their attitude, dress, and most importantly, their behavior should still reflect a redeemed life.
Halloween has nothing to do with Samhain, it's a holiday before all saints day... A Christian holiday...
But if spiritual warfare is true than how do you know you aren't inviting demons into your life?
IP. What's your take on the idea to change the tradition of haloween instead of scary costume it should be saints because according to some Filipino priest hallow means holy. Is this right?
John Ramirez is a grifter
In the UK bonefire night is celebrated on November
5th. It is a time I have always hated since being a child as never understood why
anyone would want to celebrate burning at the stake. It wasn't until I became
an adult that I understood the connection between Halloween and bonefire night.
There is nothing worthy of celebrating in my opinion. Many Christians pray to
and for the dead on Nov 1st this is a useless and unbiblical practice. The
period between October 31st and November 5th is a high season for druid/
witches. Halloween is harmful - it is focussed on violence when
we allow our children to watch blood and gore we shouldn’t be surprised when
they cannot differentiate between truth and fantasy. Violence has become
normalised in society and some of the films that used to be released at Halloween
have been part of the de-sensitising. One of the most popular ways children are
introduced to the occult is at Halloween through the popular so called harmless
practices.
Halloween is the best!
It really bad, it praising evil.... You should not pray to any other but God...
I'm convinced
"You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way"
There we go... Answered biblically
God is light and devil is darkness. Simple do you want to dress your kid? Do it November the 1 st day off the Saints that’s what my perish does all the kids come with there favorite saints costumes.
Halloween has nothing to do with the devil. It's a pagan tradition and pagans dont believe in the devil
It's a Christian invention so you have most to answer to
*grabs popcorn to watch the fundies cry*
Heck yeah brah
I swear people are using fundies as a dog-whistle. Please use the meaning accordingly.
@@cerebrummaximus3762 You mean the original meaning, or the practical meaning used by 99.99999999999%
of real people today?
That Richard Ramirez, i mean JOHN Ramirez is a complete joke.
We can't give Satan an inch
I ATE SOME HOLLOWEEN CANDY ONCE AND I TURNED INTO WEREWOLF. I WAS STILL A WEREWOLF AT SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY. THE LUNCH LADIES GAVE ME EXTRA HOT DOGS❤
Is it a godly holiday? Or is it a Worldly. holiday we are not of this world?
Let's. celebrate God?
Celebrate what you want. God doesn't exist
@@johnchambers9836considering how often you posted under this video, it seems you're trying to convince yourself. God absolutely does exist. He's love and he loves you too, even though you don't seem to know.
@MrSeedi76 no I have my own mind thanks
I use Mark 7:18-19 which is similar to Matthew 15:11 to debunk that vegan teacher 😂
That is a good one
Yes eating too much candy is bad for your body! It’s got nothing to do with people putting spells on the candy before someone eats the candy.
dont eat all of it in under 3 days then?
So technically, it only works if you throw it up.
John Ramirez a warlock still.
A Christian can't be cursed
Idk bro I think people should ask their spiritual father. I’ve personally never felt great about it.
Almost 2000 passed and humanity still hasn't change.
It has changed massively.
First of all how is an ex witch and a satanic priest gonna tell me what’s safe for my kids to do😂😂
Well the whole world is tricked into worshipping Satan so absolutely no way.
I agree Satan is the god of this world, so he rules the whole world
@@Cam-yb6cpYahweh is the God of this world, not the devil.
@TitusCastiglione1503 I'm sorry, but the bible says otherwise, 2nd corinthians 4: 4
@@Cam-yb6cp To be sure, the devil has authority, but only because God gives it too him. Just wanted to clarify against a trend towards dualism.
@TitusCastiglione1503 Also, another scripture to go with the one previously stated is matthew 4 , when Satan shows our messiah all the kingdoms of the world and says if you worship me you can have authority over all the kingdoms of the world
No Christians should not celebrate Halloween
It's evil for parents to walk around the neighborhood and meet their neighbors
Have Trunk or Treat or something like that and meet your neighbors in the parking lot, I'm sure you don't want them to know where you live
There is a reason why theology exists, so you don't make a prat of yourself when explaining the faith, this women knows nothing.
The Bible says do not eat food sacrificed to (what ever their god is)
John Ramirez is an outright liar, and I will tell him that to his face if I ever have the chance to meet him. Nobody is praying satanic curses over these candies before giving them out.
Why not debate John Ramirez this year? He refuses, he loses.
No we had fall festival at the church so the kids can have fun.
sorry man, but I would have to say this is the only time I disagree with you and a little disappointed, but damage their own
"Whatever is not of faith is sin"
If you don't have the faith that you can go out and celebrate holloween without God having a problem with it then you shouldn't do it regardless of what others tell you.
Romans 14:13-23 KJV
[13] Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
1 Corinthians 8:9-13 KJV
[9] But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 says “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
❤
Make it make sense (totally twisted)
If your still reading God loves you so very much. He wants to hear from you. He want a relationship with you. God bless you ❤
For once we're agree on something
A quick google image search tells me if I should be involved with halloween.
1 Corinthians 8:7-14
Do not partake of such things which would embolden your brethren with weak conscience to stumble.
And it does this how? You first have to prove getting candy from people and dressing in costumes is evil or idol worship.
