Sounds like this would be a good candidate to be put into a blind tasting with other Indian whiskies. Thanks for another fun, informative review. I'll keep my eyes open for this one as it has yet to reach the shores of Japan.
I'm sure cognac distillates were added to it. There is a clear young cognac nose (not virgin oak, but grape distillate) right after pouring and the aftertaste of cheap young cognac finally convinced me.
Awesome, I'd like to try both Japanese and indian whiskey. I'm sipping the Paddy whiskey on this glorious Canterbury day. Next time I spy you at the Barrington mall I'll stop and introduce myself. Slainte 😎👍
I've had Paul and Amrut and i've found them both hot/spicy. Seems like Indri is in the same league. I much prefer Scotch, even the blended ones are better, you can have them without water and have much smoother taste
The whiskey just got best whiskey in the world award!!
I wondered why people were suddenly watching this old video...
Slight correction the award was given to the Diwali collectors edition bottle from Indri not this one
@@vsagar1806 This one won in 2022, the peated version of this won in 2023...

Great stuff, please give it a review when you get a chance 👍
Was disappointed when you flashed the bottle and saw 80.5 Proof on the label, but quickly realised it was imperial and not US proof.
Yes, it seems to be a bit of a convention with Indian spirits. Now one of the only places you'll regularly encounter British proof.
Great whiskey, even tastes better than the Japanese Singlemalt Yamasaki 👍🏻

I will try today 😊
I bought 2 bottles that didn't last long. You must try the Indri Dru cask strength, it's another level👍
Funny you mentioned the cask strength. A bottle just turned up yesterday....
Best whiskey ❤❤
If these men are talking good about something, that thing has got to be excellent on all parameters.
It's true!
Three versions: 60% ABV; 46% ABV and 43% ABV. The 60% ABV comes to the market next week, end Oct 23.
Please try Rampur whiskey
Batman and Robin. Robin shouldn't talk as much
