It seems like such a simple thing, a kick stand, but I use it all the time and it seems like such an obvious thing EUC needs! Honestly from a build quality perspective, side by side with the s18 (someone got a production model) the V11 wins and you won’t be disappointed.

I liked the lights and the speakers on the 16x. At this point as a rider, I see how unnecessary these features are. However, the at-a-glance battery level indicator on the 16x is something I didn't know I liked so much until I switched to the MSP

I don’t really know about shipping schedule. Buuut its worth the wait, the high pedal does make learning a bit tougher and you’ll prob need more time holding onto a wall while you ride. Just take it slow and stay safe!!
@@OWGAC will do and thanks. Since I have nothing to compare it to (but my Onewheel) I figure I won't miss lower pedals. Can't miss what you've never had. Thanks for the videos
best to pad the hell out of the wheel, especially under the pedal and front where the headlight sitcks out. Unless your superpower is incredible learning/balancing, you're gonna fall and ding your wheel more time than you care to mention. Good luck and welcome to the EUC crack! lol
Great review! If the V11 had slightly more range, I would buy it. Hsiang, the helmet you're wearing is a slalom helmet, and the chin bar is only meant for protecting you from getting the poles in your face. It won't protect you in a crash.
thank you! I have it set to none breakaway so its a bit stiffer, its better than my half lid but not as restrictive as my full face so it works for my riding style.
You are getting a lot for the dollars but EUC in general are on the expensive side given their often larger battery capacity. My understanding is that the cost of battery is one of the larger component costs and affect the final cost of the wheel.
Great Review! After observing the S18 vs V11, i'm pleased 2 go with the V11. My opinion the V11 is a bit more of an aggressive safe casual combo experience where the S18 is a bit more of a subtle combo common casual enjoyable experience for the ladies, beginners & the average persons for a really great enjoyable EU experience. The V11 has 2 adjustable shocks where the S18 only has 1. EU'ng in mountain terranes where Veterans burn up, Inmotion has taken it 2 the next level! & i'm waiting 2 c if Ninebot Z10 will rise 2 the challenge with a 3000+ watt motor or better because a 2500+ watt motor with shocks or better they may need 2 stay in the game..
Nope, unfortunately that’s the one thing the v11 don’t have, neither does s18 but I generally don’t ride with music and the ppl that do seems to carry Bluetooth speakers anyway. So not a huge deal I think.
Great review! Is this wheel compact enough to take in to NYC restaurants and park it next to my chair or under the table? I’m looking for a pev that I can easily keep the battery inside away from the cold temperatures while eating out.
No they shouldn’t. If the gov gets involved we’re gonna have to register, insure, and probly have to get some sort of a license. Also if the gov gets into it they’ll probly ban us from roads and last but not least will probly regulate heavily on the speed of eucs maybe cutting it down to 20mph or sth. All I know is I like to commmute literally everywhere on my nik+ and I know the gov would slash my speed in half Best to stay under the radar as long as possible imo but who knows
I'm very curious about the helmet. That's a slalom helmet (to protect against slalom poles or also snow if crashing). How effective is it if you were to face plant on asphalt? Will the chin guard hold up or will it snap off too easily? I love its concept but if it's not rated for the street, a full face might be the better option. Let me know. Thanks, and great review. I already have a deposit on one thanks to JC. BTW, good job wearing a mask. It sets a good example. More of us should do this.
Can you recommend another wrist guard ? The Gyroriderz is not coming up looks to be European websites. I ordered the exact helmet your wearing in the video, put in my deposit for the V11 last night anticipation is killing me !
Mr Hsiang, I bought this helmet after your review/recommendation. Now the sun is out in London I thoroughly enjoy the air flow and hearing the surrounding traffic is more noticeable over my Ruroc. Thanks👍🏾
@@OWGAC right lol we are small guys for lifting that much weight . Stay safe out there and keep it WHEEL ✌️. Check out my boys crash video last week if u haven't. (Electric unicycles sliders gliders)
Dont know if the pedal height is higher on the V11 than the V10... It has advantages but one big disadvantage or at least I find it a disadvantage and that's stopping and starting in traffic or at junctions.. I hate having to step back on the pedal you have to lift your foot so high.. 😒.. It can be disorientating!.. Maybe its because ime so tall? 🤔..
The V11 pedal is higher than any other wheel I am aware of, 9” off the ground with me on it. I do think that you’ll acclimate with more ride time but yeah its weird in the beginning.
The MSP is a solid wheel, take your time and be cautious with learning and pad the wheel and yourself well. And in another few month if you still want to upgrade, you can think about selling it and get something different. The wait list are long on the new wheels so you’ll have to wait a few month even if you order them now so.
I've had 3 months on the V11. I'm 120kgs what wheel do you think I should upgrade to. I want suspension T4 or KS 22 or another. I commute and forest ride. Ideas?
The official website has it on sale for $1799 now. Want to buy it, but never rid a unicycle before, does it take long time to practice and get used to?
Hi im a new subscriber and i am new to this kind of fun, i am thinking about getting one but i need to research which is the right one for me. Which model and make of the unicycles would you recommend for the longest distances / longest lasting battery life and longest lasting life in general? Its good to have a bit of speed with it all but not so bothered about the speed much?? Keep up the good working liking the videos and the info you provide 👍
Hi Hsiang! Thank you for all your content! I love it! What is the difference between ordering from myinmotion.com and ewheels.com when I used your link it went to ewheels where I pre-ordered the v11 however when I went to myinmotion it seems like shipping dates are 1 month earlier for us residents. Are they getting the wheels from the same source? Thanks!!
I believe myinmotion is the same as EUCO whom use to only sell inmotion wheels. I know Ewheel is pretty good about updating their pre-order ship dates but I am less sure about EUCO. If you want it the fastest its better to ask and see how well (and quickly) the vendor respond.
I’m on a v10 (my first wheel) and I’m liking The v11 too but honestly I don’t need to be going that fast. I like my 20mph haha Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The pedal height wouldn’t bother me, that much more visible to cars.
Take your time and be patient, I am always worried about new rider getting overly confident and then falling and hurting them self. I would suggest at least ride your v8F for 1k miles before upgrading.
I maybe anti American in my attitude but the desire for more speed in my electric mobility devices was never a driving force. For me it's convenience, comfort, and yes the added mobility I gain by going electric. I'll get there when I get there and comfortably so. So in this device the suspension and handling are key factors.
One thought floating in the back of my head, as someone still struggling to buy one of these, is that friggin' price. Every few months that I wait brings another wheel worth considering as a first (obviously wheels built for mach speed are not the best for beginners so that helps minimize the field,) but I always get forced back to the thought that I should get a cheap learner before upgrading to something well over a grand (or two), but if I do then that it extends the period it would take to afford a second wheel. As a beginner (or not even a started yet) I keep feeling boxed out. That said, it does look like the best positioned (average) consumer grade wheel in terms of fit finish and presentation next to all the others, especially with Ninebot out of the EUC race.
@@jdogflipper7997 Yep, absolutely reasonable advice, but with limited funds you also want to get something that will last and that's where the dilemma lies. When I first started looking at EUCs I was considering the V5/V5f, but I realized upgrading would take me forever, so the V8 and V8f became my target because it had more power, because I wanted something that I could stick with for a while because generating the cash for another would take a lot of time and by that point the price point is already pretty high even for a used one (if you can find one).
TheRealAlpha2 well it’s not the end of the world to just get a quality one. My first wheel the kingsong 16s (which is actually still my only wheel I’m looking to upgrade soon) has been fantastic. In the learning process I banged it up a bit but even after a year of use it works good as new. If ur careful Mabe u can get away with never falling hard in the learning process. And the worst a fall does is scratch it up but I’ve fallen going 25+ mph 2-3 times and it’s still running fine, but it does look pretty banged up lol.
@@jdogflipper7997 Yeah, it'd be nice to never fall, but all the riders say it's not a matter of if, but when. I've always said, my first day on a wheel of my own, I fully intend to fall intentionally just to get that fear out of the way. I'll do it padded and as safely as possible, of course.
TheRealAlpha2 lol yup even after a year and I’m very good at riding, you get lazy sometimes, most of my falls happen when I don’t see a pot hole or large bump in the road and get knocked off. But the new suspension wheels like the v11 seem to solve that which is nice!
Hey Hsiang, I've been riding for about 5 months in the city where I go to college on my brothers KS 16x, recently he decided to take it back and I've been looking into wheels to buy. I use it for groceries, food and joy riding and the V11 looks like the way to go as it seems really solid and safety is higher with the suspension. Im turning into a speed junkie though and the V11 doesnt really fit the speed increase i want, but does seem to fit all the other ease of use parts. I'm wondering if you think there's any other wheel I should look at before purchasing a V11 or if its my best bet as i'm still pretty new to the sport.
I would steer clear of Gotway for now given all of their recent problems. So it's down to either the v11 or the sherman for you. Do you want performance or comfort and convinience? The v11 will feel like a premium upgrade but will not feel any faster
я смотрел обзоры на эту модель у одного русского блогера, он забирался на этом колесе в горку, ездил по лесу, спустя пол часа у него сгорел контроллер, были ли у вас подобные проблемы?
I don't know how it is where you are, but no one here follow the speed limits, people do 45 when there are no traffic all the time and NYPD rarely enforce speed limits.
Do you know if its ok to walk the V11 into a store? I’m choosing between mten3 and V11 as first wheel. However the only thing holding me back from V11 is ability to take your EUC into store in NY.
Love the videos. I am thinking about the V11 as a first EUC. Would you recommend it for a beginner? If no, what would you suggest. I am a OW owner today looking to switch things up. Thanx
My standard recommendation is to start with a lower power used wheel that you don't mind beat up, but I have certainly also heard of people that went all in and start on a V11, just make sure you pad it up well so you don't damage the wheel when you inadvertently drop it during the learning process.
MauiPolice awesome that’s a great starting wheel! Light and maneuverable, get a roll of neoprene and pad the heck out of it so you won’t have to worry about dropping it!
Hey man I onewheel a lot in NYC and want to get into EUC's, do you think I would be able to start out with a V11, do you think it is a good wheel to grow into a bit? Do you have any recommendations?
Hi Hsiang, I bought this wheel and i fucking love it. But i only got to charge it to 20% before the charger died. Got a new one 4 days later. Free warranty provided. Awesome! charged it up 80% in excitement to get back out and ride. Rode it to around 50% battery until it died coming to a stop. Wouldnt turn back on, Wheels semi locked, everyone in FB is saying MOSFETS. This vehicle doesnt even look damaged, has scratches from me practicing and dropping on its side a couple times (power pads on each side so less damage than you think rather than the bottom of the vehicle (sides suspension) gets scratched first. When plugged in no indicators its charging from the vehicle. No sounds, no lights. no battery indicator. Only indicator is the charger charging something (green to red light on charger), but will it stop charging? Is it charging at its specifications? Scary! No access too bluetooth via in motion app for diagnostics either. Its like it simply just doesnt exist. Overall, awesome wheel drove great scraped sadly, i weigh 135pounds, i cant go as fast as this vehicle can go. Sitting was easy, transition was easy. Ive never ridden a unicycle before although i am pretty good at learning things i desire. (maybe autistic on some level) Took me 45 minutes to ride across the grass be able to turn and fumble here. after 1 hour i rode to town and thats where i really learned. Spent about 3-4 hours riding around sitting/standing. And learning how to get more comfortable. IT WAS AMAZING. Such an amazing feeling is produced from these wheels. Lots of questions, lots of happy faces. Awe! The smile it brings to my face as well as others is its own feeling. But riding these wheels are amazing. Can not wait for future productions, eventually itll have 4 axis stabilization. its gotta!
I will add, facebook is saying this is an active problem at this time. Leaning towards the got way exn stating people having less issues, but is 700$ more. Good luck yall
Hsiang oh man! I’ve been wanting to find some other EUCers who would give jousting on their wheel a try. Maybe with some foam lances. Seems like it’d be fun.
V11 is a Jack of all trades and the MTen3 is a small nimble shorter distance slower wheel meant for smooth roads. If the MTen3 fits your use case then it’s probably a better starter since it’ll be easier to learn on.
Hsiang. I am having a problem with my new V 11. When I accelerate the wheel says “please repair“. Have you heard of this? In motion is being very slow responding to me. My vendor has offered to replace the wheel with an S 18. What is your experience with Inmotion?
I dont understand the deposit and pay rest when you receive it? I'm in South Carolina, would they ship it to my house? Bc there isn't any dealers here that I know of.
I can recommend ewheels.com as a reliable US based company for EUCs and such. They have amazing customer service and if you just shoot them an email I'm sure they'd be able to explain how the deposit and such works!
Yup, the deposit (with ewheel) is also refundable if you ever change your mind, but unfortunately EUCs always seems to be in short supply so there’s always a wait to get one!
@@OWGAC well worth the wait. Just wishing there was a way to make payments, having trouble working up the full amount in full. I guess since I'm on a hurry up and wait I could just stash for this EUC while I wait
Mainly I live on limited budget due to this stupid viral bs, I'm self employed, but lost a lot off work this year, having issues coming up with the money upfront due to lack of dependable steady jobs. Also have a family to support. I'll figure this out, but I really think this would be a great source of emergency transport or even just casual fun transport. Looks super fun and worthwhile in investing in imho. People always ask me how is it practical, I can think of a few ways it is, like on a houseboat or whatever visiting places off the Mississippi river or such, or on trails which would be fun to ride rather than hike.
I guess it depends on your riding style and conditions, here in NYC where roads are bad its definitely helpful. the only reason you haven't seen too many guys convert here is that suspension wheels are still too slow (even the EX had a lower tope speed)
@@OWGAC I can see that. I live in Utah with a ton of mountains and mountain biking single track. I’m TH-cam taught and have never even met another EUC rider so my ideas and theories are in a bubble. NY looks like a great place to ride and I can see how you’d want speed over suspension. I want suspension and enough but not to much speed. Randomly I still think that 9bot hits it out of the park and I wish they’d develop it more. I’m half tempted to sell my V 10 and buy one.

Having ordered the V11 as my first wheel, this video made me happy and excited for it to arrive. Is there any word on when shipment 2 is going out?
Good luck and welcome to the EUC crack! lol
V11 Hands Down!
=D
Great review! If the V11 had slightly more range, I would buy it. Hsiang, the helmet you're wearing is a slalom helmet, and the chin bar is only meant for protecting you from getting the poles in your face. It won't protect you in a crash.
thank you! I have it set to none breakaway so its a bit stiffer, its better than my half lid but not as restrictive as my full face so it works for my riding style.
150 PSI is probably way more than you want based on your weight. 80-100 will probably feel amazing for you.
I’ll try that! Thanks Duf!
with EUCs as niche as they are $1800 is a lot to spend on a "first wheel", although I do agree you're gonna want to upgrade to one eventually anyway
You are getting a lot for the dollars but EUC in general are on the expensive side given their often larger battery capacity. My understanding is that the cost of battery is one of the larger component costs and affect the final cost of the wheel.
I watch your videos for the music :D
=D I am glad you enjoy it since it take me a while to find them!!
Great looking wheel. It needs some good power pads.
I figure I’ll acclimate first before thinking about mods!
Hsiang for sure. It’s good to get a good feel for the wheel first.
I think the S18 is BMW and V11 Mercedes; the one shock on the s18 is more robust and have more adjustability than the shock on the v11.
Great vid. Any ideas if there is the option of having bluetooth speakers for music? Look forward to review vid, thanks.
Nope, unfortunately that’s the one thing the v11 don’t have, neither does s18 but I generally don’t ride with music and the ppl that do seems to carry Bluetooth speakers anyway. So not a huge deal I think.
Looks fantastic but I'm still glad I've ordered the sherman 👌👌
very different wheels and the only reason why I haven't bought the sherman is me wanting to see what the monster Pro will be like!
@@OWGAC yep..good move. I think you will end up with all 3 🙈🤣
I love the range on euc's. Maybe I'd like them but they seem like Segways without handles
Great review! Is this wheel compact enough to take in to NYC restaurants and park it next to my chair or under the table? I’m looking for a pev that I can easily keep the battery inside away from the cold temperatures while eating out.
Oh yeah definitely, I mean I had no problem doing that with a Sherman S either since most EUCs are compact comparing to an Ebike let say
The government should actively promote this new mode of transportation
I like to see that also, but unfortunately the establishment likely don’t like PEVs since new tech is always disruptive.
All I know is I like to commmute literally everywhere on my nik+ and I know the gov would slash my speed in half
Best to stay under the radar as long as possible imo but who knows

Dang this is a very nice V11
anybody know what helmet that is or where I can source one - looks like a good light and safe way forward..
see my vid description!
Ah yes, thanks!
Stool a great value vid 👍
I'm very curious about the helmet. That's a slalom helmet (to protect against slalom poles or also snow if crashing). How effective is it if you were to face plant on asphalt? Will the chin guard hold up or will it snap off too easily? I love its concept but if it's not rated for the street, a full face might be the better option. Let me know. Thanks, and great review. I already have a deposit on one thanks to JC. BTW, good job wearing a mask. It sets a good example. More of us should do this.
Check my last safety video for a bit more thought, but its less protective than a full face but more than a traditional half helmet.
Can you recommend another wrist guard ? The Gyroriderz is not coming up looks to be European websites. I ordered the exact helmet your wearing in the video, put in my deposit for the V11 last night anticipation is killing me !
I heard good reviews for the hillbilly wrist guard on amazon, try those!
Excellent review is this a wheel that you would want to buy? And also I'm digging that helmet where did you get it from.
Yes i was looking everywhere for that helmet too, and couldn't find it anywhere.
I think it should still be available from Amazon, did you check the link in the video description?
Mr Hsiang, I bought this helmet after your review/recommendation. Now the sun is out in London I thoroughly enjoy the air flow and hearing the surrounding traffic is more noticeable over my Ruroc. Thanks👍🏾
I copped the helmet and love it man.
Great review 👍. I am going wait for the gotway suspension wheel.
Me too, but I am concerned about the reported 86lbs weight, yikes!!
I'm new to EUC and decided to go with the MSP, which shipped out yesterday. But after watching this, I potentially should have gotten the V11 instead.
The MSP is a solid wheel, take your time and be cautious with learning and pad the wheel and yourself well. And in another few month if you still want to upgrade, you can think about selling it and get something different. The wait list are long on the new wheels so you’ll have to wait a few month even if you order them now so.
@@OWGAC Thanks mate! That's good advice
The suspension has a little play near the top. Is that normal for the v11. Or is there something loose that needs tighten back down
I think it's normal, the slider basically look like drawer slider you get in a furniture and there's a little bit of play
The 2 camera combo around 03:20 is really off putting
Ooo yeah it was an experiment I need to work on it some more!!
Friend, are you happy with your Poc Helmet Chin guard ?
I haven't land on it yet, but I do like that it doesn't get in the way!
Great Vid Hsiang hey I got Q for you Dude can you recommend this wheel for a beginner Thanks 👍
buy a used wheel! something small and light but no older than 2019! this way its decent and you won't mind dropping it 100 times
@@OWGAC ok thanks 🙏
Where u got ur helmet kool because it doesn't restrict ur vision
Yeah that’s why I got it! check my video description for a link!
omg 150psi is really high I dropped my down to 110 which was very nice
I need to play with it more, I tried 110 but now feel like its a bit too soft..
6:25 I didn’t hear axle the first 3 times listening to it 😂
I'm learning on the v8F but I'm already feeling like I will outgrow it. This might be my next wheel but that pedal height. Sigh.
I’m on a v10 (my first wheel) and I’m liking The v11 too but honestly I don’t need to be going that fast. I like my 20mph haha
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
The pedal height wouldn’t bother me, that much more visible to cars.
Take your time and be patient, I am always worried about new rider getting overly confident and then falling and hurting them self. I would suggest at least ride your v8F for 1k miles before upgrading.
@@OWGAC I'll be riding my v8F for a while.
I maybe anti American in my attitude but the desire for more speed in my electric mobility devices was never a driving force. For me it's convenience, comfort, and yes the added mobility I gain by going electric. I'll get there when I get there and comfortably so. So in this device the suspension and handling are key factors.
I think everyone rides differently, nothing wrong with riding at your own speed
Yo, music was 🔥🔥🔥 in this Ep
Thank you!!
If i was u I would get a cheaper wheel cus you will bang it up in the first month or so of riding(I did), then once ur comfortable I would upgrade
With all the 35 mph limits in the USA cities 34 mph seems safer when you're running along with traffic 🌻
I don't know how it is where you are, but no one here follow the speed limits, people do 45 when there are no traffic all the time and NYPD rarely enforce speed limits.
Hey H, love your content. What's that helmet you are sporting? It's got a really nice jaw guard
Thanks, check the video description for a link!
Do you know if its ok to walk the V11 into a store? I’m choosing between mten3 and V11 as first wheel. However the only thing holding me back from V11 is ability to take your EUC into store in NY.
I have had very few problems with it so far, out of hundreds of shops and buildings I only been rejected twice
how about sound ? does it have loud whining motor sounds ?
Its the most quiet wheel I rode, almost a problem since ppl never hear me come up to them from behind!
@@OWGAC Used your link and bought a KS 16s from eWheels. Thanks so much!
MauiPolice awesome that’s a great starting wheel! Light and maneuverable, get a roll of neoprene and pad the heck out of it so you won’t have to worry about dropping it!
Might not want to boast about rain resistance quite yet. ;)
I always feel a bit weird about these waterproof claim anyway, since not many people ride in a rainstorm, but yes I’ll address it in the full review!!
Duf I thought of your video where you got caught in a rainstorm when he mentioned that part.
@@TheLillianYoung Me too.
Hey man I onewheel a lot in NYC and want to get into EUC's, do you think I would be able to start out with a V11, do you think it is a good wheel to grow into a bit? Do you have any recommendations?
Is this out yet because I went to buy one and the sight said it was taking pre-orders?
It is, but its been sold out for that past 6 month!! so they can't keep up with orders and that's why its still in "pre-order"
Nice 👍 Hsiang
Thanks!
What's the title and artist of the song at he end of this video?
Hello I am a 250 pound rider . I have a KingSong 18xl . What tire pressure psi would you recommend?
I’d max it out per whatever is written on the tire. Experiment as it has more to do with how you ride also!
Hsiang max our works thank you
2020 wheel of the year!
LOL there are soo many great wheels this year =D
Just curious would a shield be good armor for riding with EUC.
A shield? Like as in for jousting??
Hsiang oh man! I’ve been wanting to find some other EUCers who would give jousting on their wheel a try. Maybe with some foam lances. Seems like it’d be fun.
No i didnt mean jousting. I meant as in riding your euc with a riot shield to prevent you from getting hurt if you fall forward.
What are your thoughts on the V11 vs MTen3 as first wheel?
V11 is a Jack of all trades and the MTen3 is a small nimble shorter distance slower wheel meant for smooth roads. If the MTen3 fits your use case then it’s probably a better starter since it’ll be easier to learn on.
Hsiang. I am having a problem with my new V 11. When I accelerate the wheel says “please repair“. Have you heard of this?
In motion is being very slow responding to me. My vendor has offered to replace the wheel with an S 18. What is your experience with Inmotion?
Are you on the inmotion telegram chat? Ask Liam that question there he's usually good about responding quickly
Hi Hsiang! Awesome Vid. Would you still recommend the V11 despite its past issues. Also are you aware of on going issues with the newer batches?
I have had zero issues with my, but I also avoid riding in the rain, since well its not water proof (only splash proof)

I can recommend ewheels.com as a reliable US based company for EUCs and such. They have amazing customer service and if you just shoot them an email I'm sure they'd be able to explain how the deposit and such works!
@@ThatPepper thanks for reply, youtube failed to notify me, but I was eager to find out so I checked.
So how're we supposed to be able to put a seat on one of these?
Inmotion is releasing a seat that clips to the handle, hopefully I'll get to try it!!
where is the *ROLL THE INTRO* merch?

@Hsiang hey bro! Love your reviews! Do you think it’s possible to get a more knob-like wheel on ordering this? Or must I do this myself later on.
Hmm what do you mean by knob like??
Hsiang off-road tire, like a c803 tire for example.
Excellent 👍

Thank you!!
Killer @$$3D video, thanks!
I’m just no fan of suspension unless it’s for off road and trail running
