Sick vid man. Could you offer some insight into the rings you've got on your thumbs? I dig em

Thank you! And yes most definitely.
They are rings made by e6rings, search for them on etsy :)
The one on the left is a textured CF ring, and the one on the right is a textured texalium ring.
IMO, one of the most value-for-money CF ring makers in the market :)

Nice review! did you end up filing down the handle to get better access to the liner lock? I have the micarta reverse tanto version along w/ this one and the micarta version has the scale milled down a little so it's easier to get your thumb in there. I'm planning to take a dremel to the carbon fiber and grind it down a bit but I'm wondering if you had any success there before I go at it.

Yeah it really helped a ton! It’s an easy mod. Just take it easy and don’t let the CF get too hot or it’ll warp. Take your time and move upwards in grit to get a nice, smooth result!

@@avgsgn awesome, definitely going to give it a shot then. Thanks!

Excellent review! I have all 6 versions of the Feist, Titanium, Carbon Fiber, and Micarta and this is my favorite. I refer to the speed holes as crop circles. Thanks for showing the alternate way of opening the knife as I hadn't thought of those. The side of my thumb works just fine, but the trick is to get the middle of the thumb on the point of the flipper. The lockbar access is that way to maintain the lines of the knife. What works best is to rotate the knife in the opposite direction and use your index finger to disengage the liner. In my opinion, for the money, the size, and the weight, this is the best gentleman's folder anywhere!

Crop circles! Awesome name - I think I’ll steal that name and use it from here on out and give you credit haha!
I have to agree that I, too, think that this is the best gentleman’s folder - I just need to find better ways to close the knife.
Man you are a true collector of the Feist - even the micarta version! That’s sick man!

@@avgsgn Haha, thanks, but I think I stole the crop circle idea from watching Ancient Aliens so much! I'm sick, my collection is approaching 400 pieces. As far as the Feist, I have doubles and triples and a couple of the titanium models I've mirror polished and custom anodized them. I affectionately refer to the Feist as my rabbit's foot!
I do recommend using the index finger on the opposite side to pull the liner to unlock rather than trying to push with the thumb, then a twisting wrist flick will slam it shut.
I posted on Urbanedcsupply regarding the possibility of the Micarta Feist with the crop circles and reverse tanto and the response was "I'll see what I can do" so watch for that version possibly in the future.

Update on this knife: I'm still carrying this sweet knife, it handles well, and has done everything I have asked of it and looks great. I carry this knife in a side pocket along with my keys, flashlight, and assorted other edc junk. The keys have worn the finish off the flashlight, but the carbon fiber scales have no damage whatsoever. Couldn't say the same for the titanium models. The Micarta models hold up well also. One thing I've noticed is that if you spine whack the knife, it will close. I've tried this on a half dozen Feists and the same thing. Word to the wise, "THIS IS A LIGHT DUTY EDC KNIFE AND NOT MEANT FOR STABBING WOOD ETC."

So sneaky, hiding a food clip in the knife video! Very nice.

Great video! The Civivi Mckenna is another one you may want to check out. It flips fairly easy as well.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the McKenna as well as the Elementum.
I’ll definitely keep those in mind!

I think the detent on the mckenna is lighter than the feist, but action is still pretty snappy. The liner lock is also slightly protruding from the frame so it's much easier to close. I hope WE would do a high end version of it with M390 or S35VN and maybe titanium scales, that would be awesome.

@@PhilbertLim89 Wow alright. I gotta admit that it's one of the few of Isham's designs that caught my eye.
It does look sleek and you've highlighted some really good pointers! Hmmmm.

    EMMA!
    Pretty good looking knife.
I wouldn't trust doing any reasonable cutting as there appears to be no ergos for that.
    Fun fidgeter, fancy letter opener.
I don't know how I feel about the holes, although it looks like you could use the small ones for stripping wire.
I think if the detent was a bit different, you could get full use of all the jimping for opening.
Unfortunately, no lefty love, so it's off my radar.
    Thanks for sharing.
    G@G@ BUC3!

Don't let this little knife fool you. I received a pretty large shipping container consisting of double-wall cardboard, heavy-duty zip ties, and fiberglass straps and this baby cut right through through everything. Sorry I can't be any help with the lefty love!
