I am 22years but never smoked or drink many of my friends tell me to smoke or drink. I follow my father's path of don't smoke or drink still happy. I am truly proud of him .
The biggest problem with today's generation is that people especially the teenagers think that smoking is a cool habit and will differentiate them from others from a societal standard point of view..
3 very effective advise of stopping smoking. 1. Change your environment completely, go to a new city (or maybe your hometown) and stay there for 3 months (if you haven't started smoking there) 2. Have someone around you in front of whom you can't smoke. 3. Whenever you feel like smoking do the act of taking a puff but without a cigarette (no not even paper) it will give you the dopamine hit that your head will be craving. I manage to finally stop after 9 years by doing this so Good Luck. Everyone knows it's hard to stop so don't beat yourself up.

As a ex-smoker I can tell you no form of convincing/ads/peers can make you quit smoking. I have been chain smoking for good 20yrs and left when I felt it within me that its no longer needed. It comes from inside. There is no solution otherwise.

It's not about the cool factor alone. I don't smoke regularly, but I have tried. Once the nicotine hits your brain, your brain will produce dopamine like something u would have never experienced . It's good that I didn't picked up the habit of smoking.@@computerengineer7712
I am 25 years old. I smoked for maybe 2 or 3 years, but for the past 1.5 years, I have quit everything-no smoking, no alcohol, no beer, and not even soft drinks, especially carbonated ones. Now, I feel very proud of myself. No one judges me anymore, my skin has improved, and many other things have changed. So, guys, take a step to improve yourselves and stay healthy.

It's been 5 months since I left smoking and I started smoking when I was in 11. I started only because my friends were smoking it was cool until I got asthma but after quitting I feel more alive and active. People who don't smoke don't start because someone is doing it will be the worst decision of u r life.
Thank God that my principles didn't allow me do it. I remember when I was in 11th - 12th I used to go with my friends chilling around... around 10-12 people everyone used to smoke while I stood around 50-100m away till they completed. Though at that time they used to call me "Kiddo" they now realise I was a chad not to do it just for "being in the group"
The Government should launch a Campaign featuring celebrities proudly declaring they do NOT smoke or drink alcohol in real life. This will inspire the young generation and prevent them from adopting smoking and drinking habits to appear 'cool'. A healthy lifestyle, yoga, pranayama, meditation, and herbal products should be promoted extensively to encourage children to develop these good habits at a tender age.
My mother made me swear that I would never consume any drugs in my life. My father used to eat tobacco, now he doesn't ( thank god ) so I don't learn from him. And that too at the age of 8

The only thing I am proud of myself is that in these 23 years since my birth in this world, I have not touched Cigarette or Alcohol or any type of drugs my entire life. My father is my inspiration in this. He never touched those things in his life. Even now when he goes for office team outings or office parties, he will drink all types of juices like orange juice, lemon juice but will not go to the side where alcohol is kept. He will also drop his drunk and bevde friends to their house but will not touch or drink these poison.
My grandfather used to be a chain smoker but one day when my father was small he started copying my grandfather and from that day onwards he never smoked. He's currently 68 and living happily

I completed my studies from a different city where i lived with friends in a hostel and pg but still never smoked or drank alcohol. Many of my school friends who never left my hometown still have these habits. I had all the liberties from my parents but never misused same for this shit. The main problem behind all this is the mindset and ofcourse bollywood movies and series which showcase these habits as a cool herogiri thing. Party = Consumption of Alcohol and Cigarettes. as a teenager i first started smoking when i sifted to hostel, it was hard to believe for me that i also started to smoke. But after 4 months staying in hostel i finally came back home and now its been 3 months i haven't touched a single cigarette. To quit smoking was not easy but i tried and i think i am able to do it. I'm not promoting drinking here but drinking within limits is safer for you than smoking a single cigarette. There is no safe limit for 🚬. Also, not every local in Goa indulges in alcohol, it's a misconception peddled by media and movies.

In our college there are around 12,000 students. If anyone wants study material or stationary items then one need to go out of the room and get it. But if anyone needs ciggerate, weed, drugs, alcohol, etc then there se no need to go out it will be delivered at doorstep 24*7. And this is scenerio of every big university in India

3 very effective advise of stopping smoking.
1. Change your environment completely, go to a new city (or maybe your hometown) and stay there for 3 months (if you haven't started smoking there)
2. Have someone around you in front of whom you can't smoke.
3. Whenever you feel like smoking do the act of taking a puff but without a cigarette (no not even paper) it will give you the dopamine hit that your head will be craving.
I manage to finally stop after 9 years by doing this so Good Luck. Everyone knows it's hard to stop so don't beat yourself up.

As a ex-smoker I can tell you no form of convincing/ads/peers can make you quit smoking. I have been chain smoking for good 20yrs and left when I felt it within me that its no longer needed. It comes from inside. There is no solution otherwise.

I started only because my friends were smoking it was cool until I got asthma but after quitting I feel more alive and active. The Government should launch a Campaign featuring celebrities proudly declaring they do NOT smoke or drink alcohol in real life. This will inspire the young generation and prevent them from adopting smoking and drinking habits to appear 'cool'.
A healthy lifestyle, yoga, pranayama, meditation, and herbal products should be promoted extensively to encourage children to develop these good habits at a tender age.

The only thing I am proud of myself is that in these 23 years since my birth in this world, I have not touched Cigarette or Alcohol or any type of drugs my entire life. My father is my inspiration in this. He never touched those things in his life. Even now when he goes for office team outings or office parties, he will drink all types of juices like orange juice, lemon juice but will not go to the side where alcohol is kept. I completed my studies from a different city where i lived with friends in a hostel and pg but still never smoked or drank alcohol. Many of my school friends who never left my hometown still have these habits. I had all the liberties from my parents but never misused same for this shit. The main problem behind all this is the mindset and ofcourse bollywood movies and series which showcase these habits as a cool herogiri thing. Party = Consumption of Alcohol and Cigarettes. I am 31 now and proud that i never touched all this.

@Abhi and Niyu please make a similar video on drinking alcohol addiction too. As a lot of people are drinking and it has become difficult for non alcoholic drinkers to go out as many of the people in the friend circle are drinking alcohol.

तो उस समय ज्यादातर के पास उत्तर नहीं होता
क्योंकि बचपन से भी वह सेहत को पीछे रखते आए हैं
तो यह भी नहीं कह पाते की नहीं मेरी सेहत बहुत अच्छी है
ओर इसे पीने से मेरी सेहत और खराब हो जाएगी
क्योंकि वह पहले से ही अधमरो की तरह जी रहे होते हैं
पर अगर वो चाहे तो ये कह सकते हैं
कि hospital के bed पर जिन्दा रहने में ओर बहार सही तरह से रहने में अंतर होता है
इसलिए खेलकूद ओर सही खान-पान बहुत जरूरी है बचपन से हीं
जिन्हें आदत नहीं भी है
वो भी अगर एक दो घण्टे खेलेंगे तो जीवन बेहतर ही होगा
वैसे तो सरकार शिक्षा व्यवस्था भी बदल रही हैं
अब जो पढ़ रहे हैं
उन्हें खेलकूद कि समस्या नहीं होगी

Maine 17 saal ki age me smoking start kiya tha just to look cool aur aaj mai 24 ka hone wala hu aur 1 mahine se cigarettes ko hath nahi lagaya hai chhor raha hu but cravings(Talab) aur withdrawals bahot hard hai focus nahi kar pata hu pura din dimaag me cigarette ghumta rahta hai lekin In Sha Allah mai haar nahi manunga ab thaan liya hai to chhor ke he rahunga kuch tips batata hu talab lage to chewing gums ka use karo aur jada se jada pani piyo aur meditation karo exercise karo aur jab bhi cigarette pine ka man kare to yaad karo ki tumne kyuu cigarette chhorne ka socha tha

My father been a chain-smoker since he was in college. But after a medical condition, he decided to quit smoking, and from the next day till this date he never touched cigarettes again. And honestly seeing many people trying to quit and not able to quit I respect his self control and will power dude

I eat paan or paan masala
These r my principles & I accept no logic to change any of these, no emotion or no anger can change me.
I feel so Positive doing these
I don't take this decision of doing it or not depending on how people judge me...but it's a logic less principle of mine !

But if anyone needs ciggerate, weed, drugs, alcohol, etc then there se no need to go out it will be delivered at doorstep 24*7. And this is scenerio of every big university in India
