I belong to business family but my father never allowed me to join his business. I ended up joining MNC. It’s pathetic. India has deep socialist mindset. Making money is bad. 10 lakh people are sitting for 200-300 upsc jobs. I have utmost respect for entrepreneurs and deep contempt for Indian bureaucracy

Why they don't allowed you to join?
I come across many young people who views are completely opposite, they say that Family is asking to join family business but they don't want to.

@@unitflashy I have faced same situation and it is, Because they know the struggle they're having even after doing so much of hardwork. They don't want us to face the same. Taxes, labourers, credits of people in market, Gst filling, audits nd what not. Normal businessmen suffer a lot and still doesn't have that luxurious life which a person having normal 15-20 Lpa job can have.

I am the son of a business owner in Mumbai. Business is 40 years old and well established, still, my father didn't want me to continue with it and sent me to the USA for higher studies in 2015. I am in Toronto on PR and working for a US-based tech company but I still sometimes want to return to India and continue/grow my family business. But then I think about all the hassles my father faced due to corrupt bureaucracy and dropped the plan.

My Dad is a business man, I know very well how much hard work he did to start his business, most of all
    1) collecting all these big documents
    2) getting signatures of corrupt government officials on those documents
    3) taking money and then paying them with signatures
    4) Even if the government pays them, after the start of business, we pay them monthly (from peons to big officials, they are all corrupt people, they don't want to work, they just want money).
    5) After the business starts, you have to find the market, customers
    6) There is no source of money for at least 3 years rather you have to invest money yourself and there is no guarantee whether the business will be successful or not.

I can understand that as I come from the same background. The mental health of businessmen is so bad. The Income Tax people also very sly to get more money from you and if you don’t pay bribe your work won’t be done. The laws are so stringent for bankruptcy that so many businessmen commit suicide. I wonder when will Modi talk about that?

Our family have never actually spend any festival together whether it's diwali , holi or any wedding . It's always dukan first . My dad infact never had a sleep more than 5 hour's a day . Even after all this hardwork customer don't have a sense of appreciation for business owners .this makes my mom to force me to do a job rather than doing a business .

But this is only for people under certain income level though. Once you are rich enough(to swing politicians), the system starts to dance to your tune. But again, that too is very socialistic.

Fundamental mindset also plays a role. Due to lack of resources spread across the population there is competition in everything from seats in colleges to space for vehicle on the road which leads to scarcity mindset.
In first world countries due to less population consuming abundant resources there is abundance mindset.
The moment you place a person from abundance mindset region into a scarce situation they would also behave exactly as a person who is already in scarcity situation.

@@abhiraj7736your stance is rather perplexing and contradictory. you claim to love india, yet you're eager to depart. this duality is problematic and frankly, disrespectful to both your homeland and potential host country.
if you choose to emigrate, it's imperative to fully commit to your new home. nations welcoming immigrants are offering opportunities for a better life Better wage Better infrastructure and what not ( the reason you said you don't like india because it lack these things ) - it's ingratitude of the highest order to accept these benefits while maintaining such conflicted loyalties.
your indecisiveness reflects poorly on immigrants as a whole. it's individuals like yourself who perpetuate negative stereotypes about newcomers. either remain in india and work towards its betterment, or fully embrace your new country of residence.
this half-hearted approach serves no one. it's high time you made a definitive choice and stood by it yeah you and i indian and we love it but make up your mind.

    • @abhik8122
      @abhik8122 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@carlosdeso656 but the potential host country has also not made up its mind to accept immigrant as it's permanent resident or citizen. This 'decisive' thought is ok after one gets Green Card. But until then how's one supposed to commit loyalty? They can deport you anytime. Wars / civil unrest can happen.
And while they're offering several benefits, it's because it's a win-win for both. They need people to employ, boost their economy. They need youth to support their aging or shrinking population.

I started freelancing 2 years ago, and I quickly found out why foreign clients don't want to work with Indian people. The biggest problem is the payment. There are very less ways by which you can receive payments from foreign clients. And you can't keep that payment in USD or EUR, it will be converted automatically. There was so much bureaucracy when it comes to registering a business and opening a bank account. This process took me a couple of months and I had to visit the banks multiple times. Doing business in India is such a pain in the ass and I wish it was better.

People migrate to other countries to get better standard of living not because you can't make a living here. I remember watching a video of a foreigner visiting Mumbai and a guy from Mumbai was showing him around. He showed Antilla to him and said the man who owns the business is a very bad man. Unless we get out of this mindset that rich people are bad and they do nothing for the people, doing business in India will never be easy.
Also the mindset of us Indians must change of getting everything at the cheapest price. When you’re buying something in the cheapest price, you’re getting the worst quality product as well.. sugar in brown bread, palm oil in every food etc. We must be ok with paying a little more for better quality and that’s where Fark padta hai.

Finally the harrasment was so much that I literally shouted at tge official and asked him to close the store himself and If i commit suicide i will write his name.

Most state government servants don't even earn 1 lakh per month before retirement it is far a dream. The top Govt officials take away most the bribe. You have no idea how much hard work lower level clerks have to do now a days, there are many hardworking and good Govt employees specially in the younger generation, even after this peanut salary you want to reduce salary of Govt employees. You do any job anywhere but asking to reduce employee wage anywhere is a criminal communist mindset towards the middle class.

I read the book 'Think and grow rich' which states that Both poverty and riches are offspring of our thoughts. Even the parents of many middle class students force them for UPSC preparation and discourage if they even think of a startup. But Shark tank India is changing the mindset and I hope that till 2047, Our country will become a developed nation with zero unemployment and more rich and prosperous entrepreneurs.

    Solutions to solve poverty problem
    1. High quality public education institution that make students skilled and provide an opportunity to get out poverty by providing high paying job and starting business.
    2. Ease od doing business by removing corruption by politicians and bureaucrats.
3 . Strong labour laws that stop exploitation of employees in company and will help in providing their hard earn money.

First we should have to streamline and refine our education system and all the subjects. Keep only those subjects which are helpful as Well as only teach 3 to 4 subjects a day with daily practicals instead 8 to 9 in schools. Add Environmental and Earth studies as a single high weighted subject over the education. Apply hybrid of German and Japanese system and their habits.

    Hatts Off🎩.
For a country to grow we need more and more job creators rather than job aspirants.
I really want to see an India where parents will start giving examples of Sharma ji Ladka who started his business and earned a good amount of money while solving real problems and creating Jobs.

According to me today's education system is so much complicated and every where is corruption also and main reason so much of time consuming . I think there is a lot of jobs in our market but all jobs is unprofessional and we can't forgot there is so much unhygienic. But the main problem is unavairness and intimidation of socially
