I've had one of those Tech 2 controllers for over 20 years and it still works like new. It's running a christmas train this winter, but it used to power an HO layout I had as a kid. It has good short protection. Just be careful using full power with N Scale as some motors aren't meant to handle the 18 volts it can put out.
Hyrum's-yahoo-total amazing footage-godspeed-
Hate to sound clueless, but what does that mean?

Great video you can crimp wire spades over your wires to make it eas😮 to go on the back of transformer screws
Thsnks! George
one of the best unboxings i've seen. well done! :)
Ah ah, pajama, barefeet and railtrack on the carpet…
Life as it’s supposed to be (missing the cartoons on TV thought)
You should also try the MRC Tech 4 280 dual cab controller. It works insanely well running two trains with one controller in different directions.
Sorry, "Cato" was Inspector Clouseau's sidekick in the 'Pink Panther' movies.
Kato is 'Kah-toe'.
I had no idea. I guess I'll say "kah-toe" from now on!
Good luck with the Tech’s. I bought 5 new, 3 months later one died, 9 months later a second died.
I bought the v7 double crossover and the m1 cuz it came with the kato controller but they aren’t compatible with my v6 .
Hm. That's strange. The v6 is just an outside loop to the m1. What seems to be the problem?
