Nice video, thanks. I'm using the normal Xiaomi 14 and I'm very happy with it, payed 700 € brand new (512 GB). Battery life is great, 90 Watt charging too and I like the cameras. Switched from a S24 and didn't regret it so far.
Great review, and the only downside is there is no eSIM for travelling. Came from a XM13 Pro and the 14U has a better camera setup. The front screen isn't as curved, slightly flatter. Also got the camera kit, but can't believe the bottom of the phone isn't fully covered, also with the grip on, it's really secure though.
This is one of the most detailed videos that i have seen!! Touched on points other reviews have missed and most importantly easy to understand.. good job!!
Those photos and videos look amazing indeed! But as an ex xiaomi user, I agree with all your remarks about the software. There were so many annoyances, incompatabilities or just quirks that made me switch. I don't expect the new logo of the OS would help with those.
I'll disagree but I'm also used to hyperOS because I'm coming from the mix fold 3. That being said I love this phone. Then again I think using a custom rom helps
I was stuck between the S24 Ultra and this phone, recently ordered the 14 Ultra with the Photography Kit for just 899€, ignoring the price of the Photo Kit I payed 470€ less than the S24 Ultra. I'm hopeful I'm gonna love using this phone when it arrives. Edit: It's amazing, tried it for an entire day and everything is awesome. Awesome screen and super smooth to use, double stereo speakers on either side of the phone that are both loud AND sound amazing (it goes almost as loud as my 20W JBL speaker but keeps the quality throughout), camera is hard to master but I already see great results on plant photography (especially flowers) and very-low-light scenarios, took a photo at like 22:00 with a 2-3 second exposure time and it looked like it was taken in the afternoon. The phone is very comfortable to hold and feels even better with the photography kit cover, the material makes it very hard for the phone to slip out of my hands. Download speeds and phone reception are 10x better than my old one and I get 5 bars almost anywhere now. Overall a very very nice phone that was definitely worth the money.
i am stuck between xiaomi and samsung ultras, i already ordered xiaomi 14 ultra but i seen some other reviews showing camera and samsung seemed better, like sharper images and also in video samsung was more sharp with focus, should i proceed with xiaomi or samsung better? i cannot decide
Well, ok then. I'm getting it. I think T-Mobile was trying to sell me a different phone. Thank you for the helpful content. It would be nice to see comparisons of the Xiaomi to other brands. Thank you!
Alright my friend, thank you for this wonderful video. However, I have a question and I need a frank answer to it. Do you truly recommend the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for using it to shoot video for professional content creation? Will it provide truly professional video recording with very high quality? Please answer me with complete clarity. And thank you in advance .
From Android smartphones it will be the only one I'd pick. bUT: snapdragons fail to deliver true constant FPS which for me is a big setback. Right now I rely on Osmo Pocket 3 and Sony ZV-1 form portable cameras mostly
I have a question. I have a xiaomi 13t pro. it is a good and nice phone, but I have discovered that my MV voltage is sometimes too high and that my battery capacity is only (4633.1) out of 5000 mah. capacity is estimated at (93%). Is it that way or should I have my phone checked, because I've only had my phone for about 2 months. what is your advice?
Why are TH-camrs pedaling this phone in the US? T-Mobile told me it's not compatible with their service. As much as I would love to buy a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, I can't use it as a cellphone.
If course you can. You can note down the bands used by your provider and check how many if them will be available in the US. Most times it is down to 5G coverage in certain regions.
Have it since release. Its more like a real camera than a smartphone camera. With the photography kit and filters attached reeeeeally good results. Miles ahead of an s24 ultra which does nothing really good in the camera department.
no eSim is kind of a deal breaker, especially considering it's an expensive phone. Otherwise I would not hesitate - maybe I will get it for a lower price..or maybe I'll get a phone with worse camera but no connectivity flaw..
I regret buying Google Pixel 8 Pro last year it is by far the worst phone I have ever owned! Hardware is horrendous every month or so something needs hard reset of a certain setting for example bluetooth failing quite often in connecting to my car or other devices. Freezes often with its on screen buttons and overheats! And horrific BATTERYYYY 5000 MORE LIKE 2000 mAh. I used to own redmi note pro it was ok but also horrific hardware hated that phone to why i thought google maybe better but absolute garbage.
Yes that’s all fine but did they fix the lens condensation issue . It really put me off. Also it rattles - the lenses rattle around due to stabilization being turned off. Another annoying thing they didn’t fix
I bought this phone and unfortunately it has a lot of things you don't know beforehand: 1) impossible to take photos at 50 mpx by default! You have to go to the photo menu every time, and in the "plus" tab choose 50 mpx. It's just nonsense! 2) You can't use the zoom lever on the professional kit if you choose the 'raw' photo format. This is really very disappointing for a camera of this price that claims to be "professional"!
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra battery is shameful as it does not meet the purpose and does not complete the day compared to other flash phones. And many other problems, such as the absence of a call sensor and the protrusion of the camera...
@@TechMishkaIt does not have a proximity sensor for calls, and the battery is not sufficient for its purpose and does not last the day, which is what the TH-camrs confirmed.

My favorite Xiaomi phone remains Mi A2 lite. Because it was part.of the Google One program and has stock Android ☺️

Very nice review. You scratched the paint away on the lovely bezel 3:10 😮 Does the material really scratch off thst easily?
Not at all. What is left is the paint from the toy. The bezel is quite solid.

Samsung phones are well optimized for social media friendly looking footage.

What's the best point and shoot camera phone?
The one that you enjoy using ♥️ This one is a pretty good contender
Super nice video and argument bro! Can you explain which different 14 ultra Chinese version and global version ?
The Chinese edition comes with the Chinese ROM. Hardware is about the same
Next review, Xiaomi SU7 🎉🎉🎉
It has problems with not deploying airbags, like many Chinese cars, sadly.
I don't have much if experience with car's technologies, so don't really plan to go in this direction. Prefer 2-wheelers ☺️☺️
i like the white one color on 14 ultra
Ha, me too!
What back cover are you using?
That's from photographic kit which comes with 67mm lens thread adapter
Exactly right, thanks for helping
Get a good Multicoated UV filter. The bright daylight photos are improved if you look closely.
Thanks for the tip ☺️
BRO you have a martenista, are you bulgarian?
Hahahah, I do have and I am ☺️
Just wanted to know, does this device support Dolby Vision in Netflix?
According to a few threads it does
