😂😂 You cracked me up when turning on the first ligt. That reaction was worth a million😂😂 That's funny as heck. Could not stop laughing. Hope you got rid of the spots.
I don't know if you're using the Nikon SnapBridge remote photography feature or not. It's not the best app, but it saves me a lot of time walking back and forth to the camera to check focus & position, and to start and stop recording. For lighting, I've been using a softbox as my main light, and I've actually found that a floor lamp off on the other side works really well for fill. There are some pretty inexpensive video softbox options you might consider. I also have an LED light like the ones you highlight in this video, but I really only use it for videoconferencing, now. I just didn't like the quality of light it created for videos.
Thanks for the tips! I actually cut a bit where I was using SnapBridge, but I tend to not use it that much for video because I have all my settings saved to a user preset and for some reason SnapBridge doesn't work in those modes. I was doing enough back and forth for this that it was worth it to set it up for a bit, though.
Yeah, I couldn't really figure out what to do about the glasses shadow. They're both just a bit higher than my face. They're also pretty close to me, so I wonder if putting them further back could help? I'm going to have to work on it a bit. The cat is Olivia!
Emmett, the lighting you had setup towards the end of your video, looked really good. 😊

How high are the lights? Looking at the shadows of glasses. And what's the name of the cat?

@@EmmettBudd Yes, distance and direction change could maybe help.
