Guy Madison was always great in Westerns. As he got older, he was even better because he brought more depth and gravitas to the roles. Also, he had a great voice, which as it deepened with age was perfect for his western persona. Thanks for posting this for all the GUY MADISON fans out there.

Two levels of law were happening in Dodge City, it is similar to what is happening now in our country. A valuable lesson can be learned. People who misuse the law, must be dealt with in a similar fashion today. Legally and through strength.
'Death Valley Days' The Dodge City War was a bloodless conflict that took place between Luke Short and the Dodge City mayor, who tried to force Short to close the Long Branch Saloon and leave town. Luke called on several friends, including Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson, who supported him during his confrontation from April 28 to June 7, 1883. The event is best remembered because it produced one of the most iconic photos of Western gamblers and gunfighters who played roles in the history of the Wild West.' Wikipedia
There was a Bat Masterson TV episode with Gene Barry that was identical to this story with the girl and everything except Bat came to help a friend with his saloon. But yeah, they called in the same exact group and that was that.
The lady playing the piano is Joan Taylor who later played store owner Millie on THE RIFLEMAN With Chuck Connors. Guy Madison had a grandson killed in Viet Nam and his daughter did have a website dedicated to that son and to Guy. She had a picture of her son around 5 years old and he looked very much like Guy. I do not know if it still exists as I can not find it.

I think we should form Peace Comittees here in America. One that does not include a possibility for corruption. The people chosen should have a deep background check. They should be a subsitute for the police because these police are making matters worse.
"Jon Lormer has had supporting guest roles in many tv series and several films as well and Henry Corden the same with him guest a pool appeared in many tv series and several films and as a voice actor he was the second actor to voice Fred Flintstone after the death of Alan Reed the original voice."
Nice cheque mate by Short , mates in high places . Reminds me of the garbage we went thru in Melbourne Australia during Covid . The Laws would chanbe at a Wim . The most hated premier in Australia cant even obtain a Golf membership down on the Peninsula these days .
Dear Alan, I am wondering about the possibility of any footage of the great pianist Simon Barere surviving. Do we know if the March 18, 1950 Ken Murray show exists? Thanks in advance for checking!

Thumbs down on the first move, “Sundown” that I’ve watched of this series. It never showed what happened. Did the guy get to Sundown in time to rescue the sheriff? Did the other one or two bandits get captured or killed, etc. ??????😮😮😮😮

I liked guy Madison, great western movie...❤
This story was shared among a few westerns at the time. I've seen at LEAST 3 different versions of this story. Interesting how that happened.
There was a Bat Masterson TV episode with Gene Barry that was identical to this story with the girl and everything except Bat came to help a friend with his saloon. But yeah, they called in the same exact group and that was that.
Two different versions of the same event adjusted of course for Hollywood style history.

Based on an actual event that occurred in Dodge City when Luke Short owned an interest in the Longbranch Saloon.

Guy Madison and Rory Calhoun were never the greatest actors, they would be regarded as second rate.
Kinda corney!🤗
But not a snowflake among the group.
