Love these wells Fargo eps, every time I watch this one, kind of makes me nervous, been awhile I forgot who was on his side , who was not the odds were badly against him. Thank you (WOWs🎉)so much, truly what is to me,5* entertainment.
My mother named me Roger after Roger Moore when he was on Maverick Dale for Dale Robertson a fellow Oklahoman and Temple of course is my actual last name and my mom a fan of TV and films where I got my fondness for classic television and movies and I was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma and that's where I still live, thanks.
I've seen Tales of Wells Fargo on TV for years, but I never really watched until a few months ago. Now it's a favorite. Same with Laramie. I was missing out for years watching only Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Not that those aren't great, but there are other classic westerns.
The video you posted "A Tale Of Wells Fargo" (pilot), has just made my day. I still remember when there were men like Jim Hardy on TV. I really appreciate watching episodes like this. The reason being the talentless automatons being aired today. I only discovered these episodes today (2/1/2023). R.I.P., Bob Terry.
Each generation improves film making; you may be stuck in the era you grew up in. I grew up with these shows, but enjoy the technical advances. Also, dislike the old shows portrayal of Indians, and fake gunslinger stereotypes, everyone is a crack shot, guns never misfire, everyone wears a gunslinger holster, women are portrayed as weak sex, and wear makeup; and tight clothes, nothing like the old west. Note in this episode, Dale Robertson is just riding along, and somehow stumbles on the stolen money boxes out on the trail, about a one in 100 million shot.
Real horseman trained horse's in Oklahoma, could actually fight lost his college aid because he had some professional boxing matches, joined the army became a tank commander fought the Afrika core in north Africa under Pattern wounded twice could have came home but refused to leave his unit one battle a direct hit on the turret blew him out but killed the crew, could fist fight, handle gun's for real, and trained horse's professionally, not the usual soft Hollywood type actor had is ranch in Oklahoma where he lived. And tale's of wells Fargo is on cable tv everyday.
If I wasn't so old, I might even remember seeing the first episode when it aired. Always a favorite of mine. We sure could use some old west justice today. Where is Judge Roy Bean when you need him.
I'd say that kiss he gave her must have been worth more than $20,000 in gold good night damn well saved his life' YEAHA! I'm just going to leave my boots up watch another one. Thanks BT.
Country pretty" that's a good one' well I say Ellie Mae , Dolly,Miss Kitty & Barbi Ventin from heehaw, are some as well, hehe a hehe haw 😄 oh wait & Lulu !
I performed IT audits for Wells Fargo in the 70's ans 80's along with other large banks. WFB has been ripping off U.S. customers for years, and I do not think any of the robberies through the years could offset their tactics.
(Stuart Randall - Bonanza - Sheriff Baker / Sheriff Brody / Sheriff Walker /, Laramie - Sheriff Mort Cory / U.S. Marshal Stark / Patterson), (Paul Fix - The Rifleman - Marshal Micah Torrance / Plus Sheriff or Marshal in many western movies), Ray Teal - Bonanza - Sheriff Roy Coffee)
Just something about the black and white westerns, don't get me wrong love them all, Take Gunsmoke for an instance ,I guess half of them are in color, but it's just something about the black and white ones, seems more realistic?
Nobody wears a hat or sits a horse as Dale Robertson did. His horse Jubilee was as elegant and sure footed as he was. What a pleasure to watch!
1st watch tonight, I'm 75 remember these well. Great to see thankyou!!!
I'm 64 years old and I still love my old western
Thank you so much for watching
My grandpa, granny, mom and Dad enjoyed this show year's ago. Thank you for bringing them back the good memories.
Dale's one of my all-time favorites. Thanks!

Love ❤️ this show even today. I watch it on T V Land every day Mon. Thru Thursday,s great memories.🙏🥰🌹🌹
Thanx for this because I'm a huge Dale Hardy fan and loved this show.👍😎
Tales of Wells Fargo with Jim Hardie is the very best of the western TV shows. Robertson was a surreal skilled westerner detective.
Along with James Arness/ Gunsmoke
Have been watching the series for a while, but hadn't seen the pilot. Thanks for this! Much appreciated.

We need shows like this today. Sadly current generations are incapable of making them.

@sst6555 So, in other words, you are offended by old shows that were for family entertainment.
Used to watch this show on the telly… one of my favourites… in black and white then, no colour TV in those days
Hello Bob. God bless you 🙏
Thank you. He does every day.
What a treat. Thanks big time!
Thanks
Still watch it on Grit.
It was a good show.
Thank you Bob Terry.

Dayle was certainly one of the icons in acting.
Great movie, hope there’s plenty more to come 👍

The woman was Jimmy Ringo's wife in The Gunfighter - one of the best westerns ever made
Cool show
This is fabulous. Thank you..Any chance of any more Boots & Saddles or Cavalry series. 🥰👵🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thanks. Yes possibly so.
Pilot for Wells Fargo, which was one of the few late season replacements to succeed.
Love this
thanks
Thanks Bob. This must have been before he got Jubilee.
How many,, Star in,, this show 🤣👍,,dale,,was, good,, play,,Jim,,in,, wells Fargo great show keep play,,them
One of my favorite episodes.. thanks for sharing! Jim Hardy has probably kissed more attractive woman than John Wayne himself lol
Mine all on CDs he plays them for me at times
Wow Bob that's the first time I ever looked real close in that little circle, didn't know you had a twin?
Wonder if that stone fence/wall is still there...22.30-24.00 ca, great American Heritage-I agree!
I'm going to cause a stir..just as good looking as ELvis!
I'd say that kiss he gave her must have been worth more than $20,000 in gold good night damn well saved his life'
YEAHA! I'm just going to leave my boots up watch another one. Thanks BT.
Well she was country pretty, but not $20,000 pretty!
Country pretty" that's a good one' well I say Ellie Mae , Dolly,Miss Kitty & Barbi Ventin from heehaw, are some as well, hehe a hehe haw 😄 oh wait & Lulu !
Bravo Frank Gruber
Oh my! This is definitely not the Jim Hardy of the series. That Jim only cared for his horse.

From Schlitz Playhouse of Stars (12-14-1956).
And Wells Fargo continue to rip people off to this day
haha ya loser
Two future marshals of other shows.
(Stuart Randall - Bonanza - Sheriff Baker / Sheriff Brody / Sheriff Walker /, Laramie - Sheriff Mort Cory / U.S. Marshal Stark / Patterson), (Paul Fix - The Rifleman - Marshal Micah Torrance / Plus Sheriff or Marshal in many western movies), Ray Teal - Bonanza - Sheriff Roy Coffee)
Paul Fix was the doctor wasn't he? James Arness was the Sheriff or Marshal @@westernsontheweb
The Barber portrayed the sheriff Micah on the Rifleman
Also here too but it's normally uncle Eddie's run of ruins ya know dad made mine after we came to NY
Just something about the black and white westerns, don't get me wrong love them all,

Dude, it’s kick your boots off
No! It is kick up your boots like onto the coffee table. Then setback and relax.
Ok beautiful
17:48 😂🤣🤣🤣
Everybody who is apart of corruption should do time for the crime. Not everybody in this episode did there time. Still an ok episode
Not really forsaken was it.
Not forsaken by us. But if you purchase the series DVDs this episode has not been included.
How does a wood burning locomotive produce black smoke like an over fed oil burner????
They don't make em like they used to..
Good show!
