- If you watched the previous episode of "Capturing Car Culture," you know that Singapore has a vibrant car culture, but unfortunately that comes with a price, a big price. This episode, Larry goes to some of the most exclusive car collections in Singapore, where it takes millions of dollars just to possess these cars, let alone purchase and drive them. One collection is so secret, it's spread out across several properties where they had to wait until the middle of the night to go.

Thank you guys so much for watching. Let me know where you would like us to travel to next!
Honestly any where Larry no matter where you go or what cars you film we will always be here to watch you’re content.
Laurence Strolls underground Ferrari garage in mont tremblant Canada
Come visit Nashville, I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the car culture here.
The last car wasn’t a huayra. That was a zonda cinque roadster! That is wild to be able to see one of those. You are truly blessed
Come to New Zealand Larry. We can't match the hypercar culture of Singapore, but we have the most incredible driving roads, and an amazingly quirky and diverse car culture.
I like how Larry didn’t realize how special the Zonda chique is. He called it a huyra and didn’t realize that’s the 10 million usd car.
Just glossed over it 😭
I'm not a big supercar guy as I mentioned in the video. I just can't relate to them 😅
latest transaction on a yellow cinque roadster sold for 15million USD if not mistaken
@@jinghen7444yup, in fact it's not 15 mil usd it was sold to european guy for 18 mil usd. the zonda was yellow colored and the car is number 4 of 5 zonda cinque that ever existed.
@@nigeljeremy134 I'm quite shocked to find out Dan sold his yellow cinque at the time
I did not want this episode to end. Thanks so much to the team for showcasing this side of Singapore's car culture. Insane!
Never been so bummed that a video ended
Yup, same here lol right when it was getting even more interesting too
watched it 3 times already
I skipped half of it ! Boring cars not going anywhere. Seen expensive crap before . . .
@@waynepantry7023 that is awesome! 🥳
Blows my mind when the Cinque arrived considering there's only 5 in existence excluding the roadster
The blue carbon (Zonda Tricolore) is even more rarer only 3 in the worldwide and 1 in SG Amazing
@@Mar_Chu Ok, that’s true. But, that Cinque is out of nowhere being casually driven at 2AM is just absolutely insane!
There's 5 coupes and 5 roadsters
Well 2 of them were owned by the same guy in Beijing.
@@Mar_Chu the thing is now we know where all the 3 Tricolore Zonda’s are !!
The one showed here is N1 next is Dan Am i which has the second one and is in the USA after that N3 which is rumoured to be in Europe. This is just insane !!
I am a Singaporean living paycheck to paycheck and I am absolutely blown away by the top 0.1% rich Singaporean.
this is not the 0.1% this is the 0.0001%
I lived in Singapore for 25 years being Expat Permanent Resident, I could never afford a car!
Don’t worry it’s all over the world the rich live a different life
@@gachibassclap8433 this is true....after watching this video, I felt so disconnected as a peasant of Singapore. 🤣
Not that I am really living bad situstion, but housing loan and car related loans, not fun when I review my financial status. 😅
This is 0.00001%
People who've never stayed long in Singapore won't appreciate this journalistic masterpiece on car culture inside Singapore. To have one hypercar or classic JDM is already a mean feat in Singapore, but to have a collection of them? Mind boggling!!
Never thought any Singaporean could be emotional and passionate enough to be a car collector. Now I know better. Great documentary guys!
I’ve never been to Singapore and I appreciate it
I've probably spent a total of 1 year over 10 stays in Singapore. My parents are from JB. But I never got to experience the car culture in Singapore and never once drove a car there.
Those aren't Huayras at the end, but Zondas!- The better Paganis! And I remember that Cinque vividly, racing through Singapore at night, filmed by Nicholas TJR years and years ago. Still today one of my all time favorite videos out there!
The gear shift bangs in the Tunnel 😍
Exactly! It's like he stumbled over Easter Island! I've seen multiple Paganis in Europe, been to the factory in San Cesario, but man, this would've boiled my blood in an instant.
@@nilsmarkus4044 Right. Just before those became stupidly annoying because every 1.2 liter VW family car had those put in them.
Omg i remember NicholasTJR always films paganis… any clue where is he or the owner now?

And the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers .......... .........
So he's got a Zonda Cinque, a Zonda Revolucion n what looks like a one off Zonda apart from havin a LaF? That mans livin the life!🥹
is not a revolucion is actually a zonda tricolore 1 of 3 , revolucion is much more a race car
@@jinghen7444 🤦🏻♂️ My bad. Was thinking about the R when looking at the Tricolore. Any idea what the bare carbon Zonda is?
@@rahulsudhir666 Zonda F Clubsport
@@Mar_Chu Thanks. What a machine!

OMG that Pagani Zonda Cinque .....!!! That's from those midnight sg club videos! If anyone wants to see that car in action, search it up on TH-cam and the guy is racing it around Singapore. I watched those videos years ago can't believe I'm seeing it again. Once I saw those other hypercars, and heard of the story I had a feeling that that zonda cinque would be there. That is crazy
Yeah that it. 😀private owner
As a singaporean.. AINT NO WAY THE ICONIC CINQUE PULLED UP 😭😭
Thank you Larry for telling our story.
I never knew such people existed in Singapore.
Before you came,
I only knew Jansen for his S15 drift car.
I knew Darren had one Evo, not everything else.
I never knew Uncle Steven ran the C1 Wangan with his Zonda..
And seeing SBIRD….
woah..
btw Richard can I come drift Hyundais with you ? 😅
When you think Jansen Tans place any the money involved to get his cars and property and hearing him say he's blown away that's when you know, there is mega money involved in what Larry is filming
Anyone have contact with the Sultan of Brunei? Im trying to shoot his collection next 😅.
Omggg 😳
Sultan of Johore might be easier. He drives a custom Mack truck for fun.
Planes and the local public trains too 😊
Who the heck are these people?! That Stephen dude's house was insane but that mystery guys car collection was incomprehensible even through watching on my phone!
As an American living in Singapore I struggled, missing car and bike culture. Just having a car is a feat in itself. Great place to visit, not wild about living there. People and food are awesome.
You're right!
Yeah, it can be difficult to adjust to life in Singapore. I'm glad you got to experience the culture and people, though. It's definitely a great place to visit and explore.
The humidity can be exhaustive 😮
Simply the best car video I've ever watched. The editing, presentation and the people ❤. I adore this. Thanks so much.
As a Singaporean, thanks for the two great videos of the local culture. Owning a car, even a Corolla is just not affordable to most Singaporeans
He said “he does have a Nissan, so he is a JDM guy” then out comes the GTR50. 🤯. The only one in Singapore.
15:58 i'm sorry Larry lol
But that is Pagani Zonda Cinque
Additionally
Only 5 existed in the world
Pagani Zonda Cinque at the end not Huyara
That was absolutely amazing! Thank you for the coverage of this culture.
To put COE in perspective, the price of a brand new 10 year COE is equivalent to a Porsche Panamera in America. That's insane ! Imaging buying a Mitsubishi Mirage or a Chevy Spark but paying US$95k to register it. Oh and it only last 10 years, that's mind blowing
They must really love living in Singapore cause I couldn't rationalize that decision.
You buy COE because you want it (and of course can afford it) not because you need it.
@@TeeShongwe if you don't like cars, public transport is very good and it's a small island anyways so transport wouldn't be an issue. It just sucks if you enjoy cars as a hobby.
Welcome to Singapore 😅
@@TeeShongwethere are 298,650 millionaires from a quick Google search and the average median is almost 360k a year so I think most people are well off and can afford the COE
You hit the nail on the head. That in Singapore is just insane.
Literally crazy rich asians

One of the best car culture video, I've seen in a while. Can't wait to see your next video Larry.
There is crazy and there is this episode. Thank you Hagerty team for going above and beyond... beyond.
thank you for coming , I have always being a huge fan of your career in covering sports car scene
Mind boggling episode indeed. Considering the costs of just owning an 'ordinary' car in Singapore, the sight of those JDMs and hypercars in their
out of this world garages, simply breathtaking!
This video was an experience not easily forgotten. The open door viewers are taken through; the artistry of the environment; the storyline; remarkable✨
I never thought that someone ever take this kind of footage of these collector's (wich I know for years) I don't live in SG, but I really want to go to SG to experience the car scene in real life. I have just a lot of joy with watching this video. Thanks you so much. I can't wait for more!
Wow unreal storytelling and filming these amazing underground locations! Amazing work you guys!
What a great video Larry, I wonder if this could be the beginning of a new series "Car culture in different countries"!
An insane video. I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for the next episode.
I have lived in Singapore for 54 years and this is the 1st time I've seen such expensive cars kept in storage. You'll be surprised some of the richest people in SG who own all these luxuries actually are Indonesian Chinese and I know 1 who keeps his luxury car under a hotel parking lot enclosed where the public can't see it.
This takes the 'money is no object' relating to cars to a WHOLE new level!
Unreal video! Loved watching it! Btw, that's not a Huayra, it's the 1 of 5 Zonda Cinque at the end!! 🤯
So happy that we have Larry Chen really displaying the cars amazingly and telling the story like a pro narrator love the series
Amazing vid!! Thank you so much.
Super dope! Please make more of these stories!!
Thank you for covering Singapore's car culture!
Amazing video, absolutely blown away with Singaporean car culture ❤
Thank you so much for the content!!
Ahh i remember that SBR1D Zonda Cinque, it blew the internet about 10 years ago with its flamethrower exhaust
More of this video! Ive been to SG for how many years but its still a mind-blowing for me.
mental, so humble yet so shy to show, only if trusted. amazing
What an insane episode of Singapore car cultures and stories! I've nothing but admiration and respect for these people of their passion and dedication towards their cars! 男のロマンしかないエピソード!❤
Good ol' Larry. That evo collection is nutty. The collections in general are just mind boggling.
freakin incredible video, so well done. really appreciate all your hard work making these.
Easily one of theee coolest videos on the Internet today! Crazy to think that these underground car cultures exist...in real life!
Great vlog , thanks :)
Those cars are sick! What an incredible video.
I lived in SoCal most of my life, near BH. And yes, you can see most of those cars every day. But not all together like that. Even at cars & coffee in Malibu.
I miss Singapore everyday, a beautiful country with beautiful people. Great display of vehicles!
Unreal! Incredible video guys :)
Amazing content. Classy, informative, cool
Mate Singapore is beautiful, it would literally be a dream to see those cars so thank you Larry for sharing them!!🔥🔥
Amazing. Felt the ❤ in first 30 sec of video. Much love from 🇬🇧
Stunning, loved this
Fantastic video!! It was perfect . . . . until the end, and the appearance of "Ben Chen: Privileged Destroyer Of Incredible Cars". Eff that guy.
Loved this episode! Thanks so much to the team for showcasing this side of Singapore's car culture.
Today I became inspired, although I’m not crazy rich I will say that if I ever get to this point I hope am as happy as him when talking about my cars. Great video
The cars you have just seen are all so amazing and historical car in the hyper car industry, i would honestly do anything to be there that night with you. Amazing video
God Bless Larry Chen for these amazing videos
Absolutely awesome video
Two great episodes. I visited Singapore in 2013 for our honeymoon and was blown away by the car culture considering the financial situation the owners are put in.
I believe I speak for a lot of people when I say: we want more!
Fantastic video, no words.
Amazing! Its a treat seeing these cars in SIN.... lovely country!
This is truly insane. Thanks for the vid, simply mindblowing.
Lovely & inspiring piece, Larry. I believe there would even be crazier yet to be unveiled. Great work big man.
Respecting getting this footage, as I'm a Singaporean I really know it's not easy and well damn we have Singaporean who are really out of their mind rich. Much respect
Love the video! Maybe next time you can do a JDM edition. Love to see that happen!
Thank you so much for showing the world this amazing car collection, love from New Zealand

THAT WAS INSAAAAAAANE! The license plate mystery def could turn into a whole other video.
I can't believe this. Thanks so much. It's magical.
Such an amazing dedication and hunt
thks for coming to Sg to make such a good documentary😂....what an eye-opener💪🏼
Awesome Video row….!!! ❤
0:21 Ooooh! That artwork is something else! The chandelier looks to be Chihuly glass, but what is the giant Poblano Mushroom Head against the wall? Sooo cooool looking!
The cars are works of art, accompanied by other of artwork.
Respect to the Singaporeans. Really shows you how we easily take things for granted!
really shows how much money people are getting
Yeah it's hard to see their struggles.
Let be real with its crazy car price and license the road still looks packs, if thing is a lot cheaper the road will be put to complete stop.
For a small island where you can literally walk by foot, cars isn't a necessity it's a truly a luxury goods.
People who still buy cars in that case is on the same level people buying godly expensive watches or painting, we and them aren't the same, can't relate.
I have 2 classic cars and keeping them are very difficult. Would very likely to sell one of them.
Its not really respect here. You do know ben gets his money from his parents plus they are all among the richest people here
When I saw the white Zonda Cinque at the end of the video, I straightaway shouted OMGGGGGGGGGGG with joy!!!!!🤩 The reason why I’m so excited when I saw that Zonda is one, I’m pretty sure that’s the same Zonda Cinque appeared in Nicholas TJR’s video when the owner brought the car out for a night drive, along with a Murcielago LP640 back in 2013. (The Zonda shoots flames in tunnel too😂) Two is that I didn’t know the owner owns P1 and LaFerrari as well! 🤯 Thanks to TH-cam, Hagerty, Larry and the owner, finally get to see the car again after so many years👍🏻
Your videos are majestic
That carbon Zonda looks exact the same as the one I saw at Goodwood FOS 2012, but that one was LHD. That car was owned by Bob Forstner Park Lane.
CRAZIEST VID! I didn't want it to end.
The guy whose house/garagehouse blew me away, is blown away. I am blown away.
Hi all. A great video again. What is the main camera you use please? Sony FX3 perhaps? It's got a great lowlight low noise. Thanks Lee
Best video yet bro.
Wow😮. Thank you 🙏
This is by far one of the most interesting car cultures I've every watched, all the twists and turns brilliantly filmed.
16:55 Looking forward to viewing the other end of car culture in SG.
Wow is all I can say. Thank you Larry
THAT WAS AMAZING TO SEE
This was a great video
I always say it, so many levels to the capitalistic game. Enjoyed that, please make more content 👊
Amazing car collection that even some of the Singaporean locals dont get to see! A lot of times, most of these super rare cars get tucked away and not taken out much
This was a crazy video 😍😍😍
Great video, the last car that pulled up I believe was a Pagani Zonda
Loved this video, hey just a quick tip, at around 11:43, you might wanna blur out the speedometer reading just to make sure you’re not liable for anything! Otherwise love this!
great work.
Wow ive never heard of that gt-r 50, thats so cool!
That SBR10 Pagani Zonda Cinque is my all time favorite car
I wish you guys would put your video commentary touch on the MR2 Bear Mountain event in Mahwah, NJ.
New viewer, Larry is the man
