Yeah people underestimate Southeast Asia car culture, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. All JDMs and Europeans' prices are crazy in those countries, I heard 3 times more than usual price.....

The Protons were based on older Mitsubishi parts. The Satria was a Colt/Mirage underneath. Also i had a MK1 MR2, they are awesome little cars.

I totally agree, SE Asia has so many hidden gems. Always interesting to check out local market tuners and what they do to overcome any restrictions. The Proton pickup with EVO front end is nice, I imagine it's not as hard to transplant parts since they're built on Mitsubishi platforms. I'm also blown away by the amount of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and stands at the event.

I guess in my part of the world, it is very much overlooked compared to the likes
of Japan, even just looking at this video, it has so much to offer.
Such a big variety of cars, with so many different mods and tastes.
Plus, it looks like there is so much food on offer....everywhere!!
Definitely have to try and pay a visit if I can ever save up the money 😉

Too bad I missed you this round, only made to the event on the final day and couldn't you spot you (imagine missing a tall man). Also, the Penrite R32 19:58 is actually a drift spec that competed in the Malaysian D1GP a long while back.
Thats awesome seeing a ke70 liftback with an sr20 dropped into it! My mum used to own one in the 80s i'm so jealous she never held onto it haha

Super cool AW11 I've been restoring a Supercharged model for a few years now on my Instagram page severely under rated platforms and the SC models once modified will eat many of its competition of the era for breakfast.

@@dino_dc because there's just been a few cases of peoples fondling and molesting car and even leaves a few scratches at some events here and they leave their handprints everywhere on the car and some even broke a few accessories part..for example the carbon piece on the 787 fc's spoiler snapped when a girl run to see some car doing some 2 step and her bag hit the carbon piece a few weeks prior to this event
