Hey guys, back with another Borderlands 2 countdown and today i figured I would go over 10 of the Best Guns, Weapons and Gear for Zero (also known as Zer0) the Assassin in Borderlands 2. I think these Top 10 items are at least among some of the best items available for Zero.

The fastball is also great with Zer0 since grenades don't break decepti0n. Coupled with the kunai and things get messy real fast.

I like that the melee zero has blue items as must have instead of just all legendary and Pearl's.
Most of the pearls suck and some unique items are basically legendaries because of there special attribute
Velocity isn't necessarily a bad skill for zero. It's great for sniping (ya know, Zer0's specialty), but it sucks for weapons that have a timed effect because you have to shoot them from farther, like the Lyuda.
For Rapier it doesn't matter what level it has because Melee bonus is always the same on all modes. So you can run with level 20 Rapier on OP8 and you will have +200% Melee bonus.
The Rapier is worse than Law, because the Law atleast can be used as a gun, and still has good damage.

How about the Lady fist as a viable weapon for Zer0? Not only does the weapon have 800% crit damage in the current versions of the game, Zer0's crit damage bonuses boost it even further. Of course, that damage would be further amplified if the Bee Shield is equipped. If only the Critical Ascension skill applied to this gun, it would be an absolute monster in Zer0's hands.
Maybe that's why it's a pistol and not a sniper rifle
To be fair the lady fist is good on all characters if your hitting those crits

Not really. For UVHM just have any vladof sniper and a Maliwan snider and a tanky shield and you are fine.

KinsanGaming101 I am playing as Zer0 for my playthrough and for level 15, I find The Flame Of The Fire Hawk sheild combined with a Corrosive High Damage Shotgun
KinsanGaming101 he’s like any character in the game. Pros and cons, zer0 is bar none the best character at killing bosses with b0re while melee is pretty good at mobbing. Honestly if there is a worst characters I’d say it’s Axton, his turret is more useful for applying slag, providing cover in a pinch, and then adds some neater damage. He lacks the major upsides that the others bring and tends to specialise in survival, fun character for the first play through but really sputters out in TVHM and beyond in comparison. Gaige is just an all around better version of him as well unfortunatly.
Zero is easily my favorite character to play, so after the axton one came out I've been eagerly awaiting this very video

You know, two fang is a thing. There's builds where you can get zero to reach an ungodly fire rate, thus making it effective.

I've found that Krieg makes better use of a rough rider then a roid shield. While the extra damage is nice, the massive health pool you have with it make release the beast a much much much safer way to heal yourself in fights
Here is what I think is the best items for Zer0:
1. Lyuda
2. Pimpernel
3. Slag Rapier
4. Bladed Ruby
5. Longbow Slag Transfusion grenade
6. Hide of Terramorphous
7. Antagonist
8. Lightning bolt grenade
9. Legendary Sniper Class mod
10. Legendary Ninja Class Mod

NeostormXLMAX you obviously aren't using it right. I can solo pretty much all raid bosses on op8 within seconds to minutes with a sand hawk and bee shield
Zer0 + any variation of The Bee + Lady Fist = 64 million damage per shot on a level 48. If you add bore to that, damage is closer to 500 million. Keep in mind, this is with a level 30 Lady Fist, I haven’t tested it with a higher level version yet.
well level 48 is pretty low wait to 80 + OP 1-8 then it gets tough

I also found out because with zero when you build for crit. Just Go into deception, slag and barrel stuff a badass with a quad to one fuck any NPC that was unlucky enough be on wrong end of your barrel
The one shot one kill skill also helps as well.
Anyone like playing Gun/Melee Zer0? I find that to be a fun playstyle. Having a variety of guns, awesome class mods, and useful relics, combined with how cool Death Bl0ss0m and Many Must Fall are, and you got quite a good build. And given that you usually have enough skill points to invest in B0re, I can see Zer0 being quite the good Vault Hunter
Sniper Zer0 is all right, but I find Critical Ascension to be a bit too complicated, especially because you tend to run out of sniper ammo fast, the stacks diminish too quickly and you lose ALL of them if you switch to anything but sniper rifles. This makes playing Sniper Zer0 feel really restrictive, and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, it can be a nightmare unless you're skilled with it. A shame, too, because I really love sniper rifles.

I use to love Salvador and I wanted to try something different so I started to play zero and he became my new favorite character ohh and vinylic and julzdude have helped me so much so far in learning how to play zero so I want to say thank you to both of them

Pimpernel actually splits into an extra 6 projectiles, not 5. there's an extra one that goes up from the middle.
What do you guys think would be the possibilities of Gearbox adding actual, equip-able melee weapons to Borderlands 3?
I think it would be cool, but, they should limit them to certain characters. As in, characters A, B, and C can use equip-able melee weapons, while characters D, E, and F can only use their innate melee weapon.
I'd like to hear some thoughts on this.

Okay so I'm trying to build melee 0 but I don't have the handsome collection and my level cap can only be at level 50 so is there any other way to get a class mod to improve my melee 0
u can get epics etc... but u cant get legendary class mod

I play multiplayer with 3 of my friends and the kunai always come in clutch I also revive them without being seen so I kinda play support with snipers
I actually would put the Lyuda/Droog at #1 and the Pimpernel at #2 for a simple reason: This list is about guns that work best or excell on Zer0. The Pimpernel is a good sniper overall, but not that much more powerfull on Zer0. It is possible to get pretty good b0reshots with it but in general the Pimpernel may even be better with characters that can boost grenade or elemental damage like Maya or Axton or even non-anarchy Gaige.

surprised you didn't include love thumper or hide of teramorphus in krieg's list. using them on krieg with a melee buikd focused on using buzzaxe rampage is really good
Bailey Humphreys When I run my ManiAxeplodr love thumper is it. My loadout is slag rapier,shock sandhawk,caustic butcher,and dpuh. My relic is plus explosive damage. My grenade mod doesn't change. homing quasar. My class mod is scream sickle. My torched maniac uses of course firehawk shield,ancient plus fire damage/action skill cool down relic,same loadout legendary psycho mod.
He didn't add them because the OP levels exist.
tbh I wouldn't pass on the Order shield that easily, simply because it is as powerful as an epic melee shield of the same level (sometimes even more powerful), and it's incredibly easy to get. Just do the quest in Sanctuary, get it and feel good about it, no farming required.
Same, I always use the Order shield and the Law revolver and its works well
I personally found Chain lightning great for shield stripping and healing (with grog nozzle euqipped). BTW I didn't really found ammo an issue so the inifinity is kinda weird choice.

Shield strip on time, not get hit by barrels, not get hit by your own kunai, backstab, change to rapier, do not change to rapier to suicide mobs, kill weakest mob to stack kill skill damage, throw chain lightning for grog heal, unkept harold to grog heal etc. Theres alot more than you think.

He's using the Kitten, which is a Moxxi weapon. Moxxi weapons heal for a percentage of the amount of damage dealt.

I don’t know if you know this, but you can also get any legendary mod from the dragons of destruction. Haven’t done the other raids so I don’t know about them yet.

It was death mark a zer0 skill that increases gun damage after u get a melee blow on an enemy and I believe it might work the opposite way as well but that means they really melee blew it yep there’s a pun u wouldn’t have expected

I could have the best of EVERYTHING in BL2 and I still couldn’t kill the boss that stopped me from playing it...Teramorphous. That’s where I stopped. Up to that point, I really enjoyed the game and I still have it but I don’t know know why.
no sandhawk or twister? sandhawk, yeah ok. some ppl loathe that thing. But leaving out the Twister? That gun will absolutely WRECK . If you're patient it can work like a Pimpernel on steroids

1. A purple anarchist is better than the Infinity.
2. The critical hit damage pre-fix is better on the quad.
3. The Rapier on melee Krieg is a horrible choice as you will spent most of your time in buzzaxe rampage. So having a weapon that slags reliably is better than the extra 200% melee damage which isn't always active to begin with.
4. Melee Krieg requires the Rough Rider on OP8.

Why would Rapier be good for Krieg? Doesn't work with his class skill so that means you need to melee using bash with this weapon. I don't get why you would do that unless you use Grog Nozzle and want some health :)

Finished all characters but Zero is the most rounded offensive character though his pure offensive game is offset by a bad defense.

I found a level 50 Legendary Killer class mod in the hero's pass red chest about 5 days ago, and I didn't have UVHM pack 2 at the time(just bought it today).
I think the sand hawk is insane for gun/bore builds
Since the bullets fired from the Sand Hawk are unlisted, each individual pellet gets extra amp damages from the Bee Shield. Combine that with B0re, and you definitely have a good weapon.

idk if its u playing melee zero in the footage but u do a terrible job at showing the rapiers potential. Use a chain lightning and take some tips from fiber or striker pls or dont show the footage
what if in borderlands 3 you could equip more side stuff like more class mods and maybe guns have sockets for addable gems or some kind of shit
I think building a melee class defeats a bit of the purpose of what makes Borderlands fun. The guns.
