Today's video is a busy one! It's been so great adjusting back into my regular routine here in NYC, catching up with friends, and further decorating my apartment. I feel like December is always such a busy month so I hope that you are finding a good balance between closing things off at work/slaying your final exams/getting whatever you need to get done, and also making space for yourself and time to spend time with your loved ones. As I'm writing this, it's flurrying here in NYC and I am so happy that I can see these things from my street-facing window 😂 Hope you all enjoy!

Bed frame looks great! You could always get an artsy wall mounted headboard. Won’t change how far your bed sticks out, but adds that finished look. Plus, it doubles as cool wall art!
For the room divider, you could hang a white linen curtain to divide the beed nook and the rest of the room. I think that would make it look more smooth. At Ikea you can get a little steel wire that works as a curtain rod so when its open, you almost don't see it. Just an idea from an architecture student. Xx

congrats on your new place! as someone who also lives in a medium-sized studio apartment, my suggestion to you would be to get an ottoman bed frame! now I know, I know, you literally JUST bought a bed frame, but hear me out! in a studio apartment, storage space is SO limited, so my ottoman bed is literally a life saver! right now under my bed I currently store:
- out of season clothes (winter when its summer and vice-versa);
- clean bedsheets and towels;
- empty suitcases;
- box of christmas decoration;
- various bits and bobs, like empty nintendo switch box, gift wrap tube, bubble wrap, etc.
I cannot tell you how useful my ottoman bed is, I love it so much. I got it at Ikea and not only was it cheap it also looks beautiful.

Hi! I got so excited when I saw that you uploaded. May I suggest cutting off the bad leaves from your monstera. Usually the bad/dying leaves on plants slow down the rest of the plant from thriving.

Best part about a bed frame is under bead storage for seasonal items. Or you can get drawers for under it to use as a dresser.

I have the same knife sharpener! But I feel like I don't use mine correctly because my knives are all still terrible and dull 😂 love how the apartment is shaping up, I think a lamp near your bed on a monochrome coloured stool next to the window would really pull it all together, if you keep your bed arranged the same way!

as someone who bought the exact same stool for my vanity, though it looks really cute and comfy enough, I ended up changing it for a chair with back support and its been great! lol
& it looks like we got the same table to use as a vanity haha smart choice ^^

You can create a faux headboard look by placing some creative coverings, faux tiles, or cushion on the wall.

I wanted to ask, when filming in public (like the yoga class) do you usually ask the place or people if you can film in there or do you just try to casually set up your camera? I've been wanting to film parts of fitness classes and in public spaces too, but I feel SO awkward figuring out when i should ask or when I should just stealthily set something up haha thanks! 😂

OMG we’re like the same person😂 I also recently upgraded to a queen size bed AND bought the Mellow wooden bed frame. Our beds look exactly the same, number of pillows and all white
It might be too late but I also have really small apartment so instead of tv, I got a projector and it saves sooo much space! Highly recommend

I saw this DIY video last year? the lady didn't have room for a headboard so she got some peel and stick wallpaper and made an faux one that had the look of one, and covered most of it with decorative pillows

i recently moved into a studio as well. i got myself a murphy bed. although it's quite pricey, it's well worth the investment since it can be such a great space saver. i was able to get a queen sized bed without it taking up a lot of space.

Yea! your an adult😅 now you have a BED FRAME! ..no need for a headboard. IMHO rather get quality secondhand furniture than IKEA (better resale value) for chairs, tables, ,etc...you can find some kitsch stuff!

I watched some of those complex sneaker videos and never judge a persons shoes, the ugliest shoe you have ever seen could be like $2000 or super rare. also you should have gotten the stool with the backrest even if you don't use it often it's alwasy better to have, you never know when you need an extra chair or whatever
