I'm a retired 67 year old teacher who doesn't understand anything you said about your job, but God bless you! 😃 I enjoy watching your videos, especially your cooking segments. Thank you!
I work as a data analyst. Hybrid model so I mostly work from home. I actually came across your channel from your 'Work Week...as a Data Scientist' video so I was happy to see this video where you delve into your job a little more once again. I am always curious to hear about the work loads and routines of others in the field. I do appreciate your openness and genuinely enjoy your channel.
I'm a senior policy analyst and mostly work from home, only going into the office a couple days a month. The work day is long so during lunch I actually take a nap then eat at my desk when I return to work. Like your 15 minute bed break, the nap refreshes and recharges me and is wonderful for my MH. I drink cold water all day with one big steeped hot tea in the afternoon. I love your videos, the music and the vibe to me seems so quintessentially New York.
Hi Julia! I WFH as a clinical solution advisor (I'm a Physician Assistant by background). Love to see other WFH routines as it gives me ideas for how to mix-up my own routine! Vlogs like this help keep me motivated and productive. It's also SUPER inspiring to see you pursue your part-time hustles and encourages me to continue with my own hobbies/pursuits! Keep it up! :)
As someone currently studying to be a data analyst, I love this video. I also put sugar in my meat sauce when I make pasta because I grew up the same way.
I loved to see your routine, I work as a data scientist too, and have similar shifts. Instead of going back to work at night I just relax and go to bed early 'cuz I study for my PhD in the mornings before work. Thanks for the video and kisses from Brazil 💕
i’m so glad i discovered your channel a year ago! i enjoy watching your videos sooo much and this vlog made me realize that you’re one of my comfort youtubers
I’m not able to work from home since my job is what enables the rest of my office to be paper-free, so I have to physically be there to work with the incoming mail. Your routine seems very chill, and it’s always lovely to see what other people’s lives look like
I used to work a corporate office job but I’ve been a paramedic for the last 10 years so working from home is definitely not an option. I can say for sure that I do not miss the meetings.
Love your videos, it was really interesting to hear more about your job and your day in general. I'm an English teacher and I work at a Bilingual School. I work with 5th grade Elementary school students and year 3 preschool. They are a handful, but I really enjoy my job! I work from 8 am until 2pm, but I have a long commute so I get up at 5am mon to fri. The rest of the day I enjoy my hobbies and correct any assignments. Saturday mornings are for planning, researching and creating new material. I love my routine. After years of working at institutions that paid really low salaries and having to work from 7 am to 8pm I have finally found the perfect balance. I'm 28 btw, thank you for sharing your life with us.
I’m a BA working in Credit Risk and Finance, and I get to do hybrid WFH (3 days) and Office (2 days) workweeks. Am always in a bunch of scrum sessions, with standups and refinements taking up most of the meeting time. I do a mix of analysis, data and test work, and I especially like the quantitative aspects of my job - mainly because I get to help others translate something that can be hard to grasp into something that is quantifiable. And yes, I love testing!!
Julia, I absolutely loved hearing more about your job and seeing more into your WFH routine! I love learning what other people do for work, thank you so much for sharing! Love your videos 😍
Love working from home (always wished that I could) now I AM. Even with the required meeting (twice per week for me), they aren't long. I take naps and that is so refreshing. Also good for me as I am an introvert, people drain my energy AND I love a clean home. When I was outside busy I had to do so only on weekends (so when was I to chill?)...Now I can do it so that it is balanced...never want to go back to that commuting sht.
Thanks to your team, I can enjoy my fave music everytime everywhere...and of course with the bluetooth speaker on whenever I do my house chores or work assignment...it soothe the mind & calm the soul. To have continuous playlist with handy features be it playback/library/liked songs etc ...I can practically find any song that comes across my mind
I really enjoy seeing other people‘s wfh days :) I‘m working from home as as working student in cybersec consulting and leave the house for Uni and my other job as a part time flight attendant :)
Great video! I’m taking some inspiration from your videos to find ways to romanticize my WFH tech job. I’m a software engineer based out of LA, and it’s easy to yearn for some social interaction during the day.
I work as a Sr Programmer Analyst /db analyst for a public school district. A lot of what you were talking about sounds like my type of tasks as well. I manage a majority of our custom legacy applications and processes that were built in house. Boss wants me to transition over to our district dashboard project so I've been diving more into the tool used for that. I've built like 5 mini personal dashboards for stuff I manage as practice so far. I kinda wish we could work from home again cuz I literally come to work, log into a desktop, then log into a virtual machine where I do my actual work. It's ridiculous. 😒😒😒
Im a 20 something year old working primarily from home but sometimes going into the office as an underwriter! But I am soo interested in tech. I love how well spoken you are on explaining your work!❤
Hiii Julia! I’m actually an ecommerce stylist in Hungary. I really love your channel and it was nice to see how someone works at Spotify😃 can’t wait for the next video!🫶🏻
I’m currently working as a uni cafeteria cashier. I’ve done it since the beginning of November and Tuesday the 28th is actually my last day! After this job, I’m gonna start studying for university entrance exams full-time. I’ve tried to study after work for a couple of hours in the past few weeks but tbh it’s really hard to concentrate after a hectic day at work. This also means no income until my summer job at an amusement park restaurant begins in June! 🥶 This is my third and probably last time trying out for uni to study psychology… It’s one of the hardest majors to get into in Finland so I really hope I can muster all the strength to keep going! Anyways thank you for your videos, Julia! I can honestly say your videos are my favorite to watch and I always look forward to new uploads. 💕
Hey Julia, I am currently working as a data analyst in São Paulo/Brazil. I recently discovered your channel and I am loving watching your routine vlogs. Not only because of the topics you share about working with Data, but also because of showing a bit of NYC. Love this city and hope to visit it soon. I am thinking about vlogging my days here in SP as well.. who knows.. :) Congrats on your videos, they are really nice!
I like sweet sauce as well. Before I retired I had my own marketing business then I am still part owner of a trucking company. Good video. Interesting for sure
Late to this video but here it goes - I run a recordkeeping program for an insurance company. I can work from home FT but I actually go into the office five days a week. I live in the city so the commute isn't bad. Plus, I'm definitely more productive while I'm in the office.
Enjoyed this video as usual, Julia! Filipina over here and I also enjoy spaghetti to be a little sweet. I work remotely as a PM in the clinical research field!
I grew up with no sugar in my sauce but when I got married I learned to add sugar in the sauce to cut the acidity that’s how my husband grew up and now I do it with all my tomato based meals I wouldn’t change it for the world I’ve been doing it since I first married and that was 31 yrs ago❤
I'm in love with your crocs in sport-mode. Loved the editing and thank you for explaining what you do at work, sounds really interesting! looking forward to the new animation
I love Hong Kong style black pepper beef pasta (黑椒牛柳意面) ! It was my time trying pasta when I was still in high school in China but it was so goood! I kinda miss it and it is one of best pasta I have ever had
I work at a bank and we have a hybrid model so I’m in office 2 days. I really do enjoy my time at home though. Thanks for sharing your day and good video.
Hi Julia! I've loved watching your vlogs since your original apartment hunting vids! I'm also planning on moving to NYC soon so those videos were super helpful! I work as a Neonatal ICU nurse! Full time is three 12-hour shifts so I have 4 days off every week which is nice! It's very rewarding but definitely stressful! I've always wondered what WFH would be like though, since being a healthcare worker doesn't really have that option!
Omg! I watched The Interest of Love as well. The characters make you go "aaarrgh" but you simply can't stop watching haha. The details from your data scientist job are so intriguing for an outsider like me :)
I can work from home. Am an upcoming Data analyst/science, it's been a challenge trying to get my first job. I really can't wait to put what i have learned in practice 😊

Found your channel via one of your NYC rental videos prob a month ago, and let me tell yaaaaa... I'm just loving your content since then! ❤ This was such a lovely video, seriously. Also love the hermit shout out, I'm totally the same whilst wfh hahah Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see the animation! x from London
Hi, Julia! im a Financial Advisor and get to do hybrid wfh set up - 1 day (wfh) only tho 😅 but im not as productive as u when im home compared to working at the office 😂 i just cant stop playing with my dogs hahaha! Cheers to more videos, Julia! 🎉
Hey julia, just out of curiosity, what does "product" mean exactly within Spotify? Isn't the app itself the product (I know I'm wrong lol), or is it something more "microscopic", like the yearly Spotify Wrapped, or are these products some other features that aren't quite obvious to the regular user, etc etc.
Absolutely love your videos - your aesthetic is so relaxing and the editing is so polished! Sorry if you already said this in another video, but where did you get that bed cushion chair thing? Obsessed! 😍
I work as a data engineer, 4 days from home, 1 day a week in the office. Also trying to spend more time on written content, but it's been a challenge between work, family (2 young kids) and content. So some days are resting in the evening while others are spending time with my wife or spending time making content. Actually decided to go from 40h work weeks to 36h, so I get 4h a week extra for making content :)
Hey Julia, your videos are so soothing and nice. I WFH in Marketing for a SAAS company. I'm soon gonna move to a big city like New York for my other job. Your videos inspire me a lot. I am from India. Lots of love
I’m 40, well, in 2 days. I’m an Executive Assistant with no work from home ever. I’ve been searching for a Remote or Hybrid position for a long time. Maybe I will find something one day. I love your videos. I hope to learn how to do video editing and all that jazz one day.
I agree with the sweet and salty pasta. I'm Filipino so we usually have sweeter pasta. We even have our own sauce mix by Del Monte because of it haha! My boyfriend finds it weird since he is used to the salty sour Italian way. But eh! That's just how it is haha
I’m a sales development specialist and work for an IT hardware company. I deliver leads to our international teams (Italian/Spanish/German/Czech/French/..) I work from home 2 days in the week. I really like my job 🥰
Today is actually my first day back again WFH and its nice to work in a calm environment I work as a Call Center Supervisor and it can get very stressful so its great to have a chill vibe 😊
This was such a nice video, thanks for sharing! ❤ I live in Sweden and a soon to be educator. So currently studying and working as a mentor at home, it is the best so I am hoping I will have this opportunity when I’m a educator.
I just wanted to mention....I really like your background music, especially the volume. Too many YTers will have their music volume just a little too high and it distracts me enough that I won't finish the video.
How did you make this feel so chill yet I felt exhausted for you watching your work day 😂😂 Your videos are just getting better and better 💜 Like to hear your investing more on content creation. P. S. I'm Filipino so I'm used to pasta sauce being on the sweet side but my bf loves cooking bolognese traditionally so I get a balance of both.
Great video as usual Julia! I've probably been bingeing too much of Sex and the City, but would you ever consider doing a 90s themed video? Maybe like, a day in a SATC episode, 2023 vs 90s or comparing lifestyles from that era to now? It seems fun in my head, I'd do it if I lived in NYC 😅
To answer your question - I work as a science communicator and I work from an office! I just started creating educational videos for work so I'm trying to learn how to use Premiere Pro as well! It's terrible and so difficult but also super fun!
I've to say that i really really loved this video sm! I love long videos, especially ones over 15 minutes, and i love productive vlogs. Loved the scope of your work in your role - it is so interesting! Do you use PowerBI for dashboarding, by any chance? I'm learning it, and it's very useful. Also, that was probably 3-4 cups of coffee? 😁
Can you guess how many cups of iced coffee I had throughout this video? 😮💨☕

Hi. What have you learned in all these years in 67 years? Will you tell something to the new generation?
no idea either. Good for her. So positive. Hahaha
You calling your dad just to talk while you cook is actually the cutest. The "I know you're cooking" and nagging screams true dad love.
I work as a data analyst. Hybrid model so I mostly work from home. very very relatable and typical wfh days especially during the weekday.
I’m not able to work from home since my job is what enables the rest of my office to be paper-free, so I have to physically be there to work with the incoming mail. Your routine seems very chill, and it’s always lovely to see what other people’s lives look like
Great video! Great explanation at 7:45-10:30. Sounds really interesting! More varied than I thought.
I used to work a corporate office job but I’ve been a paramedic for the last 10 years so working from home is definitely not an option. I can say for sure that I do not miss the meetings.
So aesthetic and so productive - my mornings are chaos lol
lmao same 😂😂😂
I’m a home educator and chaos wrangler. Honestly, all that work you do is amazing and kind of overwhelming, but you clearly thrive on it ❤

Julia reminds me of an old soul, wise and competent, thank you for sharing.

I was waiting for this actual work vlog for a while now and here it is. Yayy 🎉 🫶🏻♥️
We need more WFH videos ❤️
I really enjoyed this video! Considering that I am a college student and part-time content creator, I really related to this day in my life.
I’m a stay at home mom in nyc! Watching your videos gives me a break from anything child related 😆 thank you!
I’m in my third semester of nursing school! Cannot wait to graduate and get a decent job!!

julia, i love your desk set up! would you be able to lmk where your desk and the self on it is from?
I work at a bank and we have a hybrid model so I’m in office 2 days. I really do enjoy my time at home though. Thanks for sharing your day and good video.
this is so informative! thanks Julia
Thanks for letting us get a glimpse of what a typical work day is like for you! Also love the bathrobe 😉
I strive to be as organized 💪🏼
I work in a law firm, from home, from 3 to 10:30 pm; I produce, format, clean, edit documents for attorneys; zero meetings, I love it 🙃
Such an informative video! I always love seeing what you do in a day. I work on the UI/UX Design side so it's always fun seeing what the dev side looks like. I haven't worked in tech in about 3 years now, though. Right now I'm on the creative side in marketing & advertising and luckily I still get to wfh! I do miss my team, but I'm way more productive at home, and to keep a good culture we get together at least once a quarter for a team outing which is great. Thanks for sharing your day with us! Also so excited to see what this new animation is going to be :)
Thanks for an actually realistic day!

Hi Julia, enjoyed this video . I am a photojournalist working for a newspaper 45 mins south of Toronto.
How lovely, also youre very organized I will learn from this
I love that kind of content🙂 Thank you, Julia
Absolutely love your videos - your aesthetic is so relaxing and the editing is so polished! Sorry if you already said this in another video, but where did you get that bed cushion chair thing? Obsessed! 😍

didn’t know you spoke Cantonese! got so excited when I recognised it haha

Hi! I'm a graphic designer working at a startup. I also work from home, and once a week I go into the office.
I pretty much have the same type of WFH day as you do so it was nice to relate to a fellow work-home hermit. :)
I agree with the sweet and salty pasta. I'm Filipino so we usually have sweeter pasta. We even have our own sauce mix by Del Monte because of it haha! My boyfriend finds it weird since he is used to the salty sour Italian way. But eh! That's just how it is haha

are you hiring 😭
missing you 🫶🏼 i hope you are ok, take care ❤️
I loveee this episode. Thanks for talking about work 🤭
Italian here 🙋♀️ sugar in the sauce is a must ❤️

To answer your question - I work as a science communicator and I work from an office! I just started creating educational videos for work so I'm trying to learn how to use Premiere Pro as well! It's terrible and so difficult but also super fun!
Will be visiting US/Canada in April on guided tour. Is it worth extending fussy for few days in NY?
love the content!
