Sneako is just a microcosm of what you see in most comment sections. You've got guys who trained in some BJJ and other martial arts thinking they're going to dominate people who've won 10-15 fights in their life. Most of them talking smack in the comments probably only had about 1-2 fights in their life that they lost but won't admit it. If they fought those people they're trying to verbally dominate on TH-cam they would end up just the way Sneako did and they know it.
Entertainment is just as important as education and improvement, just not at expense of them. There is a place for all of these things and more in our lives. Shouldn't judge people just by one of their interests.

I was doing BJJ for about 2 years before I decided to try some boxing, kickboxing, and mma. I thought I would be okay dealing with getting hit because I'd been grappling with high intensity for 2 years now. Boy was I wrong. Was matched up with a buddy who I usually absolutely crush in BJJ. Man, did I get humbled in kickboxing lol. You really have no idea what it's like to go from sparring with some buddies for fun, and then spar in an actual gym during an actual martial arts class. I backed up the entire time, got hit a lot, and really didn't land anything. It's very humbling.
It might be an individual thing; knew somebody who could handle striking sparring, even taking a leathering; however, being under north south in his first 'roll' freaked him out so bad, he never came back 😅🤷

I think it interests people because it brings two different communities together. Ones who pay attention to these influencers and ones who watch martial art. I like to do watch both. I always thought Sneako was just some idiot and he was but aren't we all. Life is about taking experiences and learning. Yes what Sneako did was not wise and but I would argue he represented boldness. That I can respect. Was it a good idea, definitely not but bold none the less. "It is not the critic that counts but the man in the arena" in spite of his lack of skill her went into the arena.

@@sideofhashbrowns660 I’m not doing it for competition in the ring. I’m doing it for self defense, and I want to make sure my hands are sharp. You saying “ubiquitous” made me laugh even before you explained why you used it because i know you just learned it 😅 As for sneako, i have only heard about him for a few months but even i don’t know what content he makes. From what i’ve read, he likes to make controversial statements for the sake of riling people up.
I don't know anything about that fight, but I do like hearing you tell stories! They have good lessons to learn. Sounds like this 'Sneako' poser learned an important one.
Most likely. Mike would have styled on him, controlled him and submitted him in short order. Sneako would have walked away with minimal injuries and perhaps a bruised ego. Then he probably would have demanded a rematch in boxing.
21:49 What do you think of undefeated fighters that actually have been fighting for a long time/have many fights under their belts like Marciano, Mayweather, Khabib, technically Jon Jones etc
Forest Griffin supposedly left the cage for a bit because it looked like they were gonna be fine (what? with Sean? ) and had to rush back in, thats why Sneako got beat on for so "long". Also to the people who claim he "couldnt drop Sneako", it would have taken one liver shot, but Sean didnt want to drop him, he wanted to hurt him, to inflict long lasting damage, hell he said so himself!
@@kobinho1917 knocking someone out is not as skill based as we like to pretend. Sometimes you tap a guy on the chin and he goes to sleep and sometimes you can just beat on him for minutes and he won't go down. Sean was going all out for those ten or so seconds and said afterwards that he wanted to drop him with a head punch, and don't get me wrong, another ten seconds and Sneako would be leaving in a stretcher, but knocking someone out on command is pretty unrealistic unless they are complete non fighter and off guard.
Sneako has acted as a keyboard warrior to multiple people before Mikey. Made not so subtle threats involving a firearm towards Charlie aka penguinz0 (TH-camr). He's kind of a slimy character.
As a genX veteran, I believe more kids in this generation need the lesson taught by Strickland. Gen Z likes to run their mouths out of ignorance with no repercussions. In real life, your reckless mouth can get your face rearranged
ill tell you i wanted to hear what you had to say about this because you are wise and we wanna hear the persective of a wise person on the matters of why someone would do somethig so dumb
On your last point, I actually find learning and training martial arts to be very entertaining. I'm with you on the fact that I also didn't follow the Sneako drama much at all.
Even when Sean was hitting Sneako,he was only giving him a bit of the smoke. He hit Adesanya much harder with much more accuracy to win the belt. I think he was hitting him just enough to send the message that he shouldn’t challenge such a man.
Showing my age, but long before the Sneakos & Kardashians, we had Zsa Zsa Gabor for the person who was famous for being famous. A junoesque blond from Hungary, she essentially rode the coattails of her much more pleasant sister Eva (Lisa in the 1960s sitcom _Green Acres_ ) to appearances on game shows and talk shows. I think she did ONE utterly forgettable movie with Tony Curtis (Jamie Lee's dad).
I think one of the reasons people are interested in it is because it runs into a few themes about fighters vs martial artists with regards to humility and restraint and maturity and I guess a kind of master/student expert/novice code of conduct. As an example, is it right for a novice to trash talk and challenge a master to a fight? Many people might say he deserves a beatdown for it. And the flipside is, knowing what he knows about the fighting world, should a master accept that fight or even rise to the bait? And if he takes the fight, should he make an example of the novice and beat him bloody? Not to mention this was not supposed to be a fight, it was a sparring round. Should veterans beat up novices while sparring? So yeah I think there are a lot of interesting elements of both human nature and maybe the mythology of what it means to be a martial artist at play here. Just like in real war we dress it up with honor and codes of conduct and we bow and salute and hand out medals for bravery and coloured belts and we quote ancient Chinese wisdom, but...some people just like to beat people up.
To tell you what he is famous for: He is a live streamer, people watch him living his life, surfing the internet and reacting to the internet. He got banned from the streaming platform twitch and TH-cam for his let's say "controversial" opinions and acts. He then started streaming on a very less known streaming platform on which he won't be banned for his controversial takes. He is now friends with even people with even more radical "controversial" opinions in respect to race, gender and believe it or not whether the earth is flat or not.
Sneako is a Red-Pill content creator who rose to prominence when he was thrown off of TH-cam for the horrible things he says about women. He is now a Rumble star. He’s not a martial artist perse, more like a dabbler. He likes to jump on all the latest algorithms for clicks. For instance, when Andrew Tate joined Islam, he too joined so he could talk about. This Strickland spar is just his attempt to be like the Paul Brothers.
Some will try to spin this as a Moral Victory for Sneako .....But really this was Strickland Punishing Sneako and showing him the Limits of his reality.
I like drama. I like inter personnel conflict, I like when people I can say are the wrong people, the bad people, fail, so that I can act like me and other "good" people must not be as bad as them. It makes me feel like I have to do less work if there are people who are worse than me, because that must mean I'm good enough. I'd want you to talk about things like this, BECAUSE your area of expertise relates to fighting, and something happened in the fighting realm. It feels a lot safer having someone who I respect, and think is right, talk down towards someone I think is wrong and silly. If someone is talking down someone else who I feel like I am better than, then it must almost be like they are praising me, right? Ok those were my attempts and being honest. I might have gone to far into the other direction and am trying to act so great by being willing to say so many things about myself, and thus committing a similar act to what my message was condemning of my self for.
I just can't for the life of me fathom approaching a pro fighter(or a pro in any other category) with anything other than humility. It's okay to recognize and acknowledge that somebody is better at something than you are. They've devoted a large part of their life to mastery of their art. Shut up and maybe you can learn something from them and become better yourself.
Sean was putting a lot on those punches, but if you go back and watch; a lot of those punches were not landing flush. You can say Sneako had up a decent guard, so Sean was catching mostly gloves. But it's really Sean was chasing the KO instead of tactically placing his punches. Not defending Sean. Not defending Sneako. If Sean went to the body Sneako would have folded. He wanted Sneako to hurt and he wanted to inflict as much damage as possible. He didn't want to end it quickly. If he was patient he could have made openings and picked Sneako apart. He knew he didn't have to. If not for Forrest jumping in and stopping it, I honestly believe Sneako would have eventually hit the ground before the time ran out.
Yea, I actually have a serious question. What is it with this Makotokai Karate? It's a new style of Karate but it's very difficult to find objective information about this style of Karate. Are they teaching real fighting or is it more like a McDojo Bullshido direction? And like I said, the only sources I can find, they all positive. Theres like no independent information about Makotokai Karate. Of course there are Kumite videos and all but no one from the Karate community mentioned Makotokai, no one talks about it.
Regarding weird stuff being famous on the internet, Sneako's audience is largely boys between roughly 7 to 12 years old. That's the numbers, not a judgement. It's easy for us to forget just how many kids (actual children) are using the internet and for how much time they are doing so. Not too long ago, some kids were vlogging see some event where Sneako was and they approached as fans. They pretty much immediately started shouting inflammatory things about women and transgender people hoping to gain Sneako's approval. Sneako is clearly embarrassed and tries to play that off to the camera like "I don't know what these kids are talking about!" But that's pretty much been his brand for like a decade now.
Sneako 'takes boxing' and understood he was going to get worked. You or I (being compassionate people) might have played around, given Sneako a workout and maybe hit him in the gut or maybe once or twice in the head with a bit of 'stonk' on it. just let him feel it a lil... BUT arguably, this going easy on people is why they might say shit, like 'Rob never really hit that hard' or 'was Rob really ever that strong'? Sean left no doubt about the absolute gulf in ability, power or will. Sneako will never even get the idea that he belongs there. Secondly, yes...views are important, but getting your ass beat and not cowering about it after is a good thing, especially considering Sneako's brand (red-pill manosphere monotony) . Sneako got the baptism by fire that he wanted/needed.
Lol, this world is full of surprises - big and small. Funny how I would know the meaning of a word that Ramsey didnt, considering the various things I learn from this channel.
Sneako used to make really deep philosophical youtube videos, one of those changed my life, its called “fake it till you make it” a lot of those videos were really nice and inteospective and were edited like movies, but like most artists he didnt earn a lot of money. Then he started streaming and got addicted to the attention, he started screaming out a lot of red pill/neo-conservative opinions but he did it really controversially, he tried to be like Andrew Tate. Right now he seems to do anything for attention, he says hes bettering himself (thats why he tries to pursue fighting and getting beat up) but he also does a lot of hypocritical stuff, he became muslim but also started streaming with onlyfans girls. Its really sad but i hope he earns a lot of money so he doest value it as much anymore and goes back to his meaningful videos.
I think everyone needs to be reminded that Sneako has made death threats and false rape accusations against other TH-camrs, threatened to sue people who made fun of his hypocritical alpha male image, and he also defended the movie Cuties

At my boxing club we use XMark fitness speed bag. It’s very well made and adjustable for various heights. Good luck
If your still interested try building your own platform - literally just did so today turned out great. Actually buying a speed bag platform is way overpriced IMO. I will post a video on my channel here tomorrow of my diy platform and Everlast bag and swivel.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin mixed up in my head. They weren't even in the same weight class, they just have this look about them i guess. I'm just glad you validated me for not being TOO crazy.

You should make prudent judgements about EVERYTHING.

Ramsey i have a request for you - can u please make videos about methods and exercises for different physical aspects for fighers?
Thank you for your work
I have a playlist with hundreds of such videos. Do you have a specific question you want answered?
@@RamseyDewey hm, i specifically looked in playlists before asking. Didn't find . If it's not too bother for you, what is the name of playlist?
Speed and power , i wonder what is your approach to that aspects of physic
Another question i have in mind - periodization in martial arts and what is the best way to combaine training for specific physical attributes and martial arts training?

Hi coach i care very little about sneako getting whupped but i do have a question ive been an MMA fighter for about 10 years i started when i was 16 i am a bjj black belt and consider myself a good enough grappler but i feel my stand up could use a lot of work what drills would you recommend i do for getting better footwork? If you answer this thank you so much for your time hope the day has been blessed
I do have a number of videos on footwork. But it’s about time I made some more MMA specific content on this subject!
@@RamseyDewey I will 1000% look forward to that have a nice day coach
I think it interests people because it brings two different communities together. Ones who pay attention to these influencers and ones who watch martial art. I like to do watch both. I always thought Sneako was just some idiot and he was but aren't we all. Life is about taking experiences and learning. Yes what Sneako did was not wise and but I would argue he represented boldness. That I can respect. Was it a good idea, definitely not but bold none the less. "It is not the critic that counts but the man in the arena" in spite of his lack of skill her went into the arena.
Hehe love the video Ramsey

Love drama
It’s entertaining
That’s why people are asking

"You don't know my metality man, when I see red bodies start droping" Sneako before challenging Strickland😂
Influencer grappling is more interesting to me than influencer boxing, too bad its not a thing and would be difficult to market.
Depends. Amouranth vs. Pokemane would make billions.
❤😂❤😂 I needed this *chef kiss*
In the end, I think you can see Sean felt a little bad about it, and also sneako looked as though he was filled with regret. I’d like to think lessons were learned all around and a big shout out to Forest griffin for calling it in.
RAMSEY DEWEY, should I take boxing first, and get really good at it, then transition to Muay Thai or Dutch Kickboxing later ?
Or is it okay to train Muay Thai and Dutch Kickboxing without any training in boxing ?
I mean Im not ramsey dewey but I say do whatever you want to compete in
@@sideofhashbrowns660 I’m not doing it for competition in the ring. I’m doing it for self defense, and I want to make sure my hands are sharp. I’ve seen videos of boxing and Muay Thai instructors saying that Muay Thai punching is not as sharp as boxing’s. One of the videos was from a boxing coach who said that Muay Thai fighters need to learn boxing first and learn how to perfect the jab before they do Muay Thai because he said that Muay Thai jabs are sloppy, as well as the other punches of Muay Thai fighters.
@@animallover7072 still Id say getting used to being kicked is useful you might just want to try an mma gym with a good boxing coach( the gym I go tto is like that) and then you can benefit from mma sparring too because on da streetz everything goes
Also all of this is true but as long as your timing is good and all of your weapons can secure you the sub or the ko it wont matter if your form isnt perfect, all of this in my inexpert oppinion.
@@sideofhashbrowns660 I currently train Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, and my gym has striking classes that are a blend of Muay Thai and Dutch kickboxing, but it doesn’t have boxing classes.
Here's the thing you guys, I'm glad you finally talked about him no matter the topic, he's just hilarious even with his dark mind
Hey Ramsey, what song was that that you were quoting?
“Have I done any good in the world today” by Will L. Thompson
It was a sparring session. Sean told him what was going to happen. He could have backed out. Sneako learned alot
Stop 🛑 punching that thing 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
7:10 word. I like that too. Maybe tweak your mic a little to make it a little muffled, so others wouldn't be annoyed that much or maybe don't. It's hypnotizing can tell you that.
"It must be settling in right now that there's not a single thing you can do to hurt me HA HA HA HA"
First of all terrifying. Second, yeah pretty much had the same feeling the first time I sparred with my MMA coach.
You saying “ubiquitous” made me laugh even before you explained why you used it because i know you just learned it 😅
As for sneako, i have only heard about him for a few months but even i don’t know what content he makes. From what i’ve read, he likes to make controversial statements for the sake of riling people up.
Not trying to look like a tough guy is one of my learnt from experience lfght strategies.
you had a vidio where you did that when talking i liked it i thoght it helped really accent the message it was about sparring to hard
I don't know anything about that fight, but I do like hearing you tell stories! They have good lessons to learn. Sounds like this 'Sneako' poser learned an important one.
he got himself in the ring with a dangerous male with an ego he knew what he was getting himself into
On an intelectual level he understood, sure. But not on a physical level.
Sneako would've been better off straight up fighting Mike Musumeci honestly rather than sparring Strickland
You guys should watch Jesse on Fire’s take on the sneaky thing. Doesn’t seem like a bad guy from what I heard
I didn’t but you put a video and I watched and laughed
Sneako is famous for being a watcher lmao
Dude that’s insane I’ve confused Rich Ace Franklin with Forrest several times in the past. And idk why, I’m a huge Forrest fan, I even read his book!
That opening speed bag sequence was too clean!
Sorry Coach, but I do not care. He went for a fight, he got a fight, he lost a fight. Seems pretty 123s ABCs.
Like he couldn’t knock him out if he wanted lol

@@RamseyDewey I'm sorry to hear that mate
On your last point, I actually find learning and training martial arts to be very entertaining. I'm with you on the fact that I also didn't follow the Sneako drama much at all.
Good speed bag work, I’m impressed by your performance
Hey coach, how many pull ups can you do?
To tell you what he is famous for:
He is a live streamer, people watch him living his life, surfing the internet and reacting to the internet.
So apparently sneako wanted Sean on a podcast but he refused and offered to spar him instead
Oh, I guess im the type of autistic person who likes the tangents, as soon as you pointed it out i realized how accurate that was
Sneako is a Red-Pill content creator who rose to prominence when he was thrown off of TH-cam for the horrible things he says about women.
Ramsey is saying what Sean thinks of "influencers" in a very nice way.
Sean just says " You were able to accomplish something by doing nothing.
I want a speed bag now, but I live in a small apartment and I don't think my neighbors would appreciate that.
"We all kinda want to feel that" , indeed.
I can't tell there is not much weight on top of that. There is too much vibration on that speed bag panel.
Speaking truth.
Great video mate😊
8:45 starts to answer the question.
This was a question to you.
bro please upload a video of you doing nothing but hitting the bag, nice rythym, maybe tips on different cadence or different rythym
I have a whole speedbag playlist
I don't know who Sneako is but I like your insight on stuff.
We don't, but* I did want to know your opinion on a top athlete going hard on a civilian (a problematic one)
I have never heard of it.
Well it was supposed to be a 'sparring' session, sparring is meant for learning, but sean Strickland turned it into full contact fight, so kinda moved the goalposts imo
