Exchequer Enduro in La Grange California / 1st MTB Race of 2022 / Full Enduro Race Highlights

The Exchequer Enduro is the first race of the 2022 season for mountain biking.
This year is my second year racing this event and I chose to race the Enduro.
Huge thanks to people like Nathan Powell who rally up volunteers and support to host and make such an event possible!
The Exchequer Mountain Bike Park is truly an awesome blend of single track speed & Gnarly jagged rocks!
Stoked to have gotten the chance to race this event to kickstart the enduro season! Big thanks to my friend Kellen for letting me use his Pivot Firebird 29… more on “new bike day” in another video, but hopefully that’ll come soon enough 🕺🏻
Thanks to all my subscribers and friends who keep me stoked to keep on continuing to make these types of videos! It’s more work than I’d like at this stage in my life, but it’s always fun to look back and reminisce. 🏁🚲🥳

I’ve been to that park, crappy climbs but nice descents

The climbs are only 700-800 ft at a time tho.. so not too hard, just a little steep in a couple spots ☝🏼

Hahah, yea that Gap jump I was a little nervous about for sure.. doesn’t help the nerves on a borrowed bike I’ve never ridden out here either 😅
I just remembered last year I was also nervous.. so in my mind that cancels out, just hit it the same and it should be good 👍🏼 Twas Fun! Thanks again Nathan 🏁😎🏁

Hey thank you! I sold my Megatower to make room for a new bike & I was on a friends borrowed Firebird. This place is fun just make sure to bring lots of water if it’s hot!

BTW I checked the bottom of Gnarnia at the end of the day, no one cut the course at the bottom of the single track there. That line through the grass was all footstep from people walking up the trail

That’s a hopeful assessment. Not fun to see straight lines through grass where nobody is watching just before the fire road sprint. Definitely could see it both ways be it feet or wheels.. lots of peal offs which makes ya wonder 💭
