How I killed it on my melee only run was by stacking defense so much that the lasers only did 1 damage (possible with Warding & Worm Scarf accessories + Melee gear + potions since most enemy projectile damage apparently doesn't scale past Master difficulty) and then simply true melee the Wall with Night's Edge while only focusing on avoiding the imps
hello and I just wanna say thank you for this wall of flesh cheesing strategy i haven’t fully beaten wall of flesh yet cus of how short my tunnel is but I know it works because I got wall of flesh to half hp
unsure why i cant get this to work? 2 eyes spawn way above my area i built, and they never come down, the one thats below doesnt get stuck in the areas at all, when my blocks are the same as yours
First time on the new update. Started FTW master mode. Faught the brain i was like wtf is this. Then skelly. Wtf is this then WOF wtf is this. Died many times with the usual long platform across hell. Then i gave up and put on twitch to see how the bosses of Terraria does it. You were just working on skelly with the rows of minecart to grapple on and god dam you made is look easy. Then i got to see your WOF figjt so i decided to use it. And sure enough it worked for me. So thanks abunch for the strat much appreciated Sephy.
Or you could just use the demon scythe and go beyond the range of lasers. This way you kill the waffle offscreen, without even seeing it, just need to take avoid the imps. I used this strat to beat him in this seed. Wasn't too bad at all.
@@Ballsinator3000 sure, but so is making massive arenas and using cheese to block the eyes, no? Personally I prefer not to use ANY arenas for ANY of the bosses. Makes it more fun. But won't work in this seed in hardcore.
@@bldjln3158 You telling me? I've done this in this seed several time already. You could use either demon scythe or trident which is accessible in this seed pre hardmode. The key is to stay outside the range of lasers. Easy. Also, get an imp statue and farm banners. You need about 100 to cover a large map, so that those imps won't be as annoying during the battle. And of course, you have to keep moving at least 35mph to avoid getting hit by the burning spheres the imps will be shooting at you. So, world wide railtrack does the trick.
So I’m in a legendary mode for the worthy seed. So I don’t have that big block of land underneath me. Will it still work? Maybe if I build a land mass up underneath just to channel him into the tunnel (and one above like in the vid) maybe that’ll work? 🤷♂️
@@Isaack_ValdezI did it pretty similar to the video but my bottom layer was about 4 bricks thick. I had to set up a ton of dart traps to stop the imps firing at me (they were the main problem I had). It took many attempts and redefining after each attempt but I got there. Don’t think I got very far once in hardmode though lol
"maybe it's not a great strat. . ." . . i dunno. I would think that on hardcore legendary, any strat that works and doesn't get you killed is a good strat. . that and Night's Edge. i think Night's Edge is what makes this possible. then again, i'm not willing to try this on anything above expert.

Medium size i'm pretty sure, should be bigger now as sword go nerfed, only hitting 2 parts of the wall instead of 3
