The world gen says "classic" because I took the part where I put in the seed for the video, it's synced up to when I'm saying the seed. I set it to master mode right after that. You can see all the relics near the end of the video.

I can't even go through classic terraria without dying a hundred times to either fall damage or the pillars, this truly a monumental feat, good job man!
If you're dying on classic just get a bunch of defense if you have enough defense in classic mode you cannot die and so if you only take a couple damage a hit just get some heart statues and now you're healing faster than you take damage
Normal Empress can be fought on this seed. In fact, regardless of time of day, she can be fought without being enraged. It’s all about where you fight her. If you decide to fight her underground in the Hallow, it’s a completely normal fight. But if you want the Terraprisma, you gotta fight her above ground (so essentially space).
sorbet seems to be an advocate of team space arena in this seed, so he probably doesnt know because of that. Personally i am on team hell arena, no matter how long it takes its much preferable to low grav fights
@@leobastian_ Honestly the benefit of doing it in space is that you don’t have to clear out a big space, but you still gotta make a ceiling so that you don’t fly out of the atmosphere. But yeah I agree, the fact that you have to deal with low, inconsistent gravity (as it lowers the higher up you are) makes it not worth it. She’s actually the only boss me and my friends didn’t end up defeating in our Legendary mode GetFixedBoi playthrough. We attempted her a couple times, but didn’t want to go through making another underground arena that we probably needed in order to defeat her. It had already taken so long to make the Plantera arena that we were kinda spent by then. We were so lazy that, instead of making a brand new arena for Moon Lord, we simply expanded the Plantera one and spaced out the platforms even more. It wasn’t the smartest idea, as the existence of a floor made the boulders even more dangerous, as they’d bounce all over the place. We still won, though.
@@SmoothTurtle840 i figured everyone used the recall technique for moon builders, but i guess its more difficult on multiplayer honestly i havent played multiplayer terraria since 1.3 came out but i definitly miss it. Sadly when youre adults managing 2 peoples schedules is so much harder

yeah I’m working on highlight stuff it just takes a while to comb through streams. main issue is that edited stuff usually takes a while for me to get done
I used to use the zapinator when I played this. I mean, it worked, occasionally. It was how we beat mechdusa, but 9/10 times I'd just make it so we're fighting two bosses at once.
Yeesh man I haven't even finished my first practice playthrough of the seed yet. Congrats, you're insane. I'm going to be attempting this with the extra rule of beating every boss on tier with no cheese (that's how I normally play hardcore). That BoC strat will be so helpful because my god it took me 20 tries just to beat him once.

Gratz man. Yeah I got to Wall of Flesh on this seed in legendary and have stopped cause like you said, its not that fun. Farming and fishing simulator for the most part. Wouldn't even dream of attempting in hardcore
I used your strat for Moonlord, it works very well. For Golem, I filled up his room with honey using honey bombs which slows him down drastically and also makes it easy to see him as he makes ripples through the honey as he moves. Its alot quicker than building that big arena and covering with coating.
I died about 999 times to mech bosses and now stuck with platera in master mode (normal seed), came to take a rest and watched this, you're legand dude, now am gonna get my buttslaped by plantera again but with high morale this time
Congrats on that win, it´s nice what different strats you need when doing such a challenge so you can live through it. And with this seed. The seed is truly something special. The exploring is fun, the new layout is really cool with it´s own dangers but when you get killed by a rune wizard teleporting in front of you doing just 1014 damage then I think that´s a bit to extreme, at that time turtles just did arround 700. Also the Boss changes, where only a few are really great in my opinion, but some are just insane (Wall beeing more unfair than hard) It´s defitly a refreshing experience and propably also fun depending on the difficulty

The biggest takeaway anybody can get from this is preparation, and don't get complacent. I've seen so many Hard runs end because they got comfy! Really good job ok this. 😄
I’m not very familiar with a lot of the newer stuff in Terraria but the way you talked about the run and the measures you took remind me a lot of preparing for a nuzlocke
Ok finally a strategy for shadow Golem. Gosh that was hard man, I didnt even know those walls existed (or paints or whatever xD). Thank God for that though, I liked how they changed the Golem fight now, making it a solid grind battle and not just an easy cakewalk fight like he used to be.
I watched this all the way through, then thought the video ended because I see a crested gecko (we have over 50), was hella confused for a bit! Great video!

Easy nebula pillar strat that you may have learned about already since this video: make a box of 5 blocks where only flying enemies can reach you, specifically taking up 5x5 space with 3x3 space inside, blocks at (1, 3), (3, 1), (5, 3), (2, 5), (4, 5) (horizontal coordinate first then vertical coordinate, relative to either top corner), nothing can actually attack you when you stand in the middle. Nebula Floaters apparently use 2 different algorithms for determining if they charge or fire lasers, and this setup stops both, causing them to just stare at you instead. Queen Bee can also be cheesed with enough open space. If you get above her, she'll try to fly above you, then if you drop back down, she'll follow you down and try to realign before initiating any more attacks. If you can maneuver around her right (make sure to always jump over her in one direction or she'll realign) she'll just circle around you without firing a single attack. Damage is garbage because she's basically always off-screen but you can use NPCs to jam enemy spawns (they usually won't die unless you specifically swing her into them) and get as much time as you need. Circling isn't that precise as long as you're jumping over her once per loop. In terms of equipment I've been able to do it with both frog legs and balloon equipped as well as a double jump, boots, and dash shield, but without those height boosters I just don't seem to get enough vertical speed to start the loop. Double jump may be optional depending on platform positioning, shield might be optional but I haven't tried it much. Either way, it's pretty much a no risk Bee's Knees/other drop as long as you dodge her first dash phase then immediately jump up.
Since I saw jervalin 20k Halo 2 run, I don't think there's a harder challenge than that one. As someone with nearly 1k hours in terraria this is just insane. I beated master mode but when I tried to complete this seed in legendary I quit literally before the eater of worlds. It was simply insane just to build and arena for that boss. Huge respect to this guy

a lot of the strats in this run seem cool, like lining hell with imp banners, the spectre painted walls for golem, and the recall pots to trap moon lord boulders, and it makes me want to try a hardcore run of this world myself, but at the same time i havent even beaten the seed normally yet, let alone ftw.
absolutely badass. I can't explain how angry i was the first time i got tricked by a run that was 'hardcore', where 35 minutes into the video they admitted to using savequits. They knew it would piss people off, but by that point you already gave him a view for so long that it didn't matter. And there was a flimsy justification behind it, but it was so obvious that it was a bait and switch that i didn't watch the end of that fake run

a lot of the strats in this run seem cool, like lining hell with imp banners, the spectre painted walls for golem, and the recall pots to trap moon lord boulders, and it makes me want to try a hardcore run of this world myself, but at the same time i havent even beaten the seed normally yet, let alone ftw.

absolutely badass. I can't explain how angry i was the first time i got tricked by a run that was 'hardcore', where 35 minutes into the video they admitted to using savequits. They knew it would piss people off, but by that point you already gave him a view for so long that it didn't matter. And there was a flimsy justification behind it, but it was so obvious that it was a bait and switch that i didn't watch the end of that fake run
