No tax on tips means I tip you less.$3.00 is the same as $5.00
everything sounds good i have people telling that i am good and i see no problem building my business i think a lot people dont like delivery service they complain a lot but i think for me the most important thing is the how ? ( i hope you or someone make a video ) for me the app has to be good just like the uber and Doordash that i can see i clear picture and scan the item otherwise can be a headache . other than that i love the idea of building my own business.
@YourDriverMike if you need screenshots for payouts on this app.let me know I have been using it for 3 years
A required fee tells me everything I need to know about this company
Considering they have invested a lot into making sure contractors will be paid. $9 is nothing.
Its 29 dollars a month too which is a lot I pay@@factsmatter1172I pay 170 a month for my invoicing system. Which does soo soo much more
@@factsmatter1172 Fully agree. Just like HUM driver out here in Arizona. As well as Wridz
they are offering the software for your own business. go hire someone to build a website with the capabilities they offer to you and see what THAT costs
YAY that have a fee for the SERVICE YOU USE. ARE THEY DUMB:??
Amazing video thank you this really inspired a unique idea into my head where I can cross over multiple different specialties and try and create a unique business and I think I might
Thanks for sharing Mike! Probably not something I could likely pull off but this _could_ put some pressure on other grocery apps to improve.
With that said i'm questioning the marketing department's judgment of naming a food related app DUMPling 😂
Sounds like a startup that just wants to be bought out by the big 3.
This would be great if they'd come to my area. The local area people are really wanting a service like this. I live in small town USA and there are wealthy people out here who can't get delivery through the trash apps who want delivery services. I have been asked to start my own business to service the area, I have not done so because it seems like a lot to set up, but this could be a great avenue for it if I can get my potential customers to request dumpling here
I don't think it's based on where they support, it's based on if there are any drivers available in that area, so if there's not any other drivers then you'd be the ONLY option for anyone who signs up as a customer. Based on what Mike's shown and what the website says, that seems to be how it works.
I just searched my own area on the customer side and there's no one that's signed up as a driver in my area so I might do it myself as soon as my car is fixed. Use DD/UE to gain customers, though don't send links via their messaging systems otherwise they could ban you before you get a good customer base. I'm planning to setup an NFC sharable link so I can just tap it to their phone and it opens in their browser to my page (which is fairly easy to do on modern phones), that's definitely something the company itself should implent.
$29 a month? I'd rather start a Shopify store.
The $29 per month is tax deductible.
I like it. I might check in with my network to see how likely I am to build a clientele. The idea of being able to choose my clients is very appealing to me. I have friends who live in an affluent neighborhood. I could create flyers and I know they would help promote me.
veru good idea. maybe pre-orders or similar to see interest.
Yes. I love anything that I can build and scale . Yes it takes work, but your building your own business.
I’m going to check this out, I just downloaded it. I’ve been looking for something like this! I actually was talking with my sister in law to start a shopping and errand service not run by an app! Just advertising on my own and people hiring me to task these things. But THIS is THAT idea I had! With tools I need! I owned an operated a cleaning business for 15 years when I was younger so I have real business ownership experience. I’m going to check it out for sure Thanks Mike for showing this!
Waa just talking to my husband about something in this manner yesterday then here I am today looking at this
If you have to pay to make money on the platform, it’s a no. If you are required to spam your own contacts for business, it is also a no. Imagine if you went to put an application in at Arby’s to make french fries and they told you sure we’ll hire you to do that but it’s going to cost you $30 per month. What? I understand they have a platform to run, but you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to be an Uber eats driver or a DoorDash driver. They just screw you over other ways. I’m sure this platform does as well so why would anyone literally want to pay A monthly fee to be ripped off?
lol so many customers hate this cause they can’t abuse the system since I’m the one charging for your 10 cases of water
Does it need to be food? I mean think of it like this. Maybe you get 3-5 contractors on your list who do big jobs and u go to Home Depot and buy their stuff for a fee and u get paid by this. A few auto shops that needs the goods that can’t be order in bulk
Where I see this could be really good is if you do delivery full-time you know and then you got time midday when it’s real slow to do marketing and everything associated with that if you do part time like at night is gonna get out of work for so many hours and pick up some orders to pick up some money in this crazy economy. I don’t think it would work these not for me. I don’t have the time to put into it, but you have time to put into it. This is your own business. This is seems really pretty goodand I might be getting laid off soon so I might do it
Doesn't seem to be any way to factor in distance, which would be nice.
Well I’m not paying to set it up
Then don't
.. interesting 🤔 .. like an Angie's list , pay a fee to advertise your services .. if dumpling can do all the marketing and get the leads then it's worth it .. otherwise , would cost more to do the marketing ourselves .. which would lead me to advertise myself .. do my own website .. get on social media ... Idk.
I signed for dumpling 2 or 3 yrs ago. I havent done any though. I felt quite confused or iffy with it for different reasons
What’s the point of the app if I have to do all the work, this app sounds like the middle man & there just taking a cut for doing nothing. I’d rather just do everything without the app don’t have to pay no fee & profit way more.
How are you going to do it without the app?
@@capwb the same way you would do it with the app 😂
@@LosBigga😆 🤣 😂 💯
Exactly!
@@LosBiggaFacts😂
What states is this available for drivers/shoppers? Cannot figure it out from their home page
More questions...if it's setup as a franchise does that mean getting business license and paying gross receipt tax?
You have to pay taxes regardless
@df7817 yeah, but tax on your income is considerably different than tax on every single dollar of sales
Sounds great like you said there is no scalability in the regular gig apps so if you plan on staying a gig worker why not work on scaling it 😊
This seems like a lot just create ur own business without the app. Ridiculous
Me and you friend tried it lit 2 or 3 yrs ago. We felt we'd rather use the other apps in the end . Felt easier. We just Strategize the apps to our advantage per hour. Instacart, Uber eats, shipt, spark, etc.
So you download dumpling boss right?
The moment you said 29/month I said to myself “That’s it” and that doesn’t include fees that they charge in other things. This company will bankrupt a driver. BS
LoL no thanks if I was going this route I'll build my own website and app while creating my customer lists
and how will you drive traffic to that website so anyone knows you exist? Do you have any idea how much it costs to set up payments thru credit cards for your customers? You wanna know how much Visa charges alone? Take a guess. You are clueless. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it lol.
@@michaelbell75 the same way I'd be doing it if I was to be on the platform and also like they suggested and common Sense start with my contact and then work my list through flyers online sources whatever it takes right. Everyone could also work W-2 Be A millionaire have their own business and Java Ferrari but they don't why is that? Ahhhh... Because not everyone are willing to go the extra mile.
Either you have a lot of money, or you don't understand how hard this would be to do 😂😂😂
This is how I run my delivery service
😆 🤣 😂
That's Phuk'n Nuts !!
😂
Are they in the state of South Carolina?
Hi Neighbor
Does their name mean : a little dump ?
Small towns means no access to these apps .
Uh your leaving out the fact they want monthly fee of 30 a month
No he didn’t he mentioned it IN DETAIL
It’s going down hill and we signed up but the stores didn’t have many prices so many bills had $0 or only part of the bill listed so you have to have your clients look at each. Time and energy and don’t know the total bill. We canceled and talked to a top previous employee and said he doesn’t think Dumpling will be alive in the next 2-3 years. Doesn’t work as they say. Nope not doing it and we canceled.
I've been using dumpling for the last 3 years there's challenges but it's as advertised and then some
Are you the developer of this app?
Dumpling in nyc
It makes you pay monthly ..
This is shipt on a gran scale lol
Meh US only
Sounds like Wridz...
It says " Business set up and 30 day free trial *value of $29" then it charges you $9 and doesn't tell you what the $9 fee is for......? So would it be $9 for the business set up? and I'm not signing up before I know it's in my area. I'm not seeing how to find this information out.
you paying $9/month for the customer platform/software to streamline your business
YOU GOT PUNK'D!!! 😅
Nah too many fees with dumpling. I’ve dumped the idea of the dumpling.
Sounds too much like doing sales. I hate doing sales.
Run avoid card fees
this app is old
Really?????
Lies. They give you no leads or client. Total bs dont waste your money like i did. They want you to build you own client list and make money of what u build . Lol.. there is stores on the list that are not even open anymorw out of bussiness
wtf I gotta pay?
It takes money to make money.
$30 a month for payment processing, a website / domain, an app and a dispatching service is a steal. I'm attempting to start my own delivery business, in most companies involved want to charge about $50 for a complete package.
@@WaywardZombieit takes investment to make money. You are providing a service for the apps, which is a form of investing. They are double dipping by requiring those who would do their work for them to pay a monthly subscription. These applications don't run without people willing to pick up their tasks.
If I wanted to see art my own app I would just create my own domain and web sight this is stupid lol .
🔺
🤔 hmmmmm!!! No Thanks I only like chicken and dumpling 😊
Pay 30 every moth user this app no thank you
Sounds terrible
