No, sorry, don't believe it. That didn't look like messing around, it looks like there's a toxic culture between the presenter and the editor. The editor wouldn't have cut to it otherwise, and people don't show their finger with that facial expression if it's joking. Both the presenter and editor need disciplining. The editor as much as the presenter as it was clearly a decision to cut to her while she was showing the finger, and so put the corporation into disrepute. Also, people don't show the finger to someone without provocation, while the presenter may have initiated the issue anyone who escalated it needs guidance as they should have identified the initial inappropriate behaviour for it to be dealt with appropriately.
