I came for the Seekers and stayed for The Addams Family. I remember these wonderful scenes. What a wonderful compilation, I'll be watching this vid many times.. Thanks for uploading this rare Seekers recording. Keith Potger is a name worth remembering. He is one of the most interesting members of the group and is worth Googling to read about his career.
Very sad to learn today that Wednesday (Lisa Loring) has just died at the age of only 64. And so soon after The Seekers lead, Judith Durham died aged 79 about 6 months ago. May they both Rest In Peace.
Hey! That Wednesday can really do the 60s dances, full marks!! Perfect synchronicity for The Seekers, timewise...if a bit "Out there, Man!" Mortitia was actually a Hippie fashion icon (I'm old enough to remember!) Great group...and TV series!
Wow, how fun! Don't know how I've missed this recording in the past, but I certainly did. Can't recall this Adams Family clip with the dancing. That little Christina Ricci had some moves for such a youngster! Thanks for putting this together, Rich! Great work as always!
@@rich963 I was not a fan of Adams Family, so not too surprised I got it wrong. However I WAS & still AM a huge fan of The Seekers as you well know! Still, your clip is awesome!
This is great. You can hear the Seekers as a massively talented vocal 4 piece group; and you get the the Addams family brilliantly synched to the rhythm. Thank you @UCNEHuIbyR1u9ssU07cDXn3A
Gomez was so cool, and Morticia was pretty hot. To me . the movies could never measure up to the TV series. No disrespect to the movie versions., it's just that i loved the TV series so much.
I love this song and at first didn’t recognize Judith’s voice. It’s lower than normal here but touches my souls nonetheless! O Happy day…when Jesus washed my sins away! (It was a Big job, but He’s a bigger savior!)
I don't upload Seekers DVDs because it can detract from sales & they're still going as a group. You can find two of their concerts uploaded by others (25th anniversary and 1968 Farewell). Here's a compilation I recorded from a 1999 charity show (part 2 is from their 50th anniversary concerts): th-cam.com/video/I_v5rHYRDU8/w-d-xo.html
Again, they've only just re-released that on DVD with the 2 other specials. I believe someone tried to upload it last year & it was blocked. I've uploaded quite a few of the songs from it with stereo audio added.

Hey there Georgie Girl, let’s Build a World of Our Own-2 good Seeker songs.
I grow up watching the addams family too here my friend
Can't believe that The Seekers and The Addams Family combined!
Dear Judith Durham in Heaven forever and ever RIP with angels and Jesus
I don'r care when you were born, you have got love this!

That's the craziest, most unexpectedly bonkers mash-up yet it works perfectly. Brilliant! 👏👏👏
it sounds like it's a jazz song too here
wow, speechless, the Seekers and the Adams Family, brilliant.
There is nothing the Seekers sing that is not perfection. This is no exception.
Love the Addams Family, and Judith and the Seekers RIP Judith
Now that brings back a whole bunch of memories...
Let's get a million views for this special lady
Morticia, Wednesday or Judith???
@@sylviapatterson3643 judith of course haha
Let's do it for all three of them. RIP 🙏 Wednesday ☠️😢💔
I love the Seekers but first time I'd heard this great song. Wonderful choice of video..
Would so have loved to see this live but even withn this rather cute vid, it's a rare find. Thank you so much for sharing
Lisa Loring was a born dancer!
Judith was truely a gift to us from above. Joy radiated from her. What a beautiful heart. Really miss her. I really do...
Brilliant recording very well used by the family to show their dancing skills.
Breaking RIP (22 min ago !!) Judith Durham AO (79, Aug 5) ;-(
A very good video, and I am trying to recall the Adams Family, dancing.

Love the vid and of course the song with the Seekers perfection.👍💐🏴
Great version of this song! Never have seen this on Adams Family.
Great music with a great feel!
Love this song, heard for the first time yesterday. I also love this video!
Thanks Mary, thanks for following my link - glad you enjoyed it. It took a bit of matching up, but well worth it!
@@rich963 I'll say !!! This is Fantastic!!!

Thanks Kaye, good to hear from you! BTW, Wednesday was actually played by Lisa Loring in this 1960s version of The Addams family...

Christina Ricci was in the 90s some 30 years later
RIP Lisa Loring, little Wednesday was a fan favorite!!!
It's a pity that our TV totally forgot about The Addams Family!
Priceless.
I used to love this show, but don’t recall this one!
Great song, hilarious clips.
I like your name, Carl. It does double duty... don"t ya think? "Carl B" can be viewed as both a name and a sentence: "Carl B" and "Carl be."
Edward Schumacher Thanks for that, Edward, it’s made me see my You Tube name in a new light.
Great match-up, Rich.
This might be the best video on TH-cam.

Thanks Rich, that gave me a good laugh.
Absolutely a gem, can't stop laughing.
OMFG that is crazy . Love it
Perfect with the clips. 👍🏼
Love this song
Best I've seen in a long time thank you,😊😊
Loved this
wonderful clean fun
morticia: most gorgeous female ever born. Wednesday: best dancer ever born
Judith Durham is the most gorgeous female ever born!
I keep on playing this, the same as all other seeker songs
Shows how good the Seekers were! This is a great song! Wonder why this song wasn't released while the 4 original Seekers were still together?
Wasn't it? Wasn't it on one of their albums?
I mean I know the description says it wasn't on CD but what about the early vinyl?
It was the first trackbon their debut album introducing the seekers
Rich, Great stereo conversion! Rog
What a riot! Great combo!
Thanks!
NICE!
awesome...

So 😄 funny that is very 👍 good
köstlich!
Jeez, didn't know Lurch could do that.
They’re doing the twist, the swim, the jerk, remember those?
The mashed potato too?
Brilliant
Sure miss those days
Adams Family ... Greate (the Video).
I love this song and at first didn’t recognize Judith’s voice. It’s lower than normal here but touches my souls nonetheless! O Happy day…when Jesus washed my sins away! (It was a Big job, but He’s a bigger savior!)
Perfect ❤
OMG Caroline Jones was so hot. And who knew Wednesday could dance?
awesome
That's Lisa Loring who played Wednesday in the series. She does look like Christina Ricci
HA!! LOVE IT!!!!
Could you upload some full concerts from the Seekers?
I don't upload Seekers DVDs because it can detract from sales & they're still going as a group. You can find two of their concerts uploaded by others (25th anniversary and 1968 Farewell). Here's a compilation I recorded from a 1999 charity show (part 2 is from their 50th anniversary concerts):

rich963 Thanks. I already checked amazon.

RIP Lisa Loring, the OG Wednesday Addams.
A Biblical song..How cool!
Get Down, Lurch.😲
Was this the 4 men version? Or can i hear Judith doing backing vocals??
It was certainly recorded after Judith had joined the group 👍
She's in there. Sometimes the speakers don't pick it up as well.
❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🇨🇦
1 minuet and 51 seconds early version of the floss
What is the name of the little girl who dances?
Lisa Loring 👍
@@rich963 Thx
Character is Wednesday Addams, actress is Lisa Loring
Morticia could really shake it
about the addams family,if at 2020 a school play does the addams family, clearly they are not forgoten.
the munsters are forgoten,i think
Need that teapot
Are you quite sure that's not the Kingston Trio? Sounds just like them. Like the Seekers of course, but that sounded more Kingston Trio.
I noticed Judith's voice was used as backup in this song. I've never heard a female voice on a Kingston Trio record.
What is the name of the little girl with braids who is dancing?
Did she grow up to stay in the acting field?
Wednesday Addams is the character, the actress is Lisa Loring, and I think so (kept acting)
It sound like the seekers are singing in jazz too here
How tall was the guy play lurch on the addams family?
I think 6ft 8
Maybe 6 ft 9. Ted Cassidy.

Funny moves
One look at Morticia will tell you why Gomez was always smiling.
We are all poor for their loss ...
are you sure judith durham is here singing does not sound like judith durham is singing here at all
She's there, but depending on your speakers it may not pick her voice up as well
Never keen on the Seekers when they go spiritual.
does not sound like the seekers here
It does. Judith's voice is not as prominent.
