Was at a concert in Toronto and when Amazing Grace was played! You couldn't help but stand up and worship! Those bagpipes came from every direction & filled the stadium! Andre and the pipes were spectacular! This gives me goosebumps thanks for sharing!!! God bless!

Andre Rieu has woken up all people from all walks of life to beautiful music , absolutely beautiful . The whole orchestra and Andre work so well together . I was lucky enough to get tickets last Christmas in London to watch them the look on peoples faces when I walked in with half my face tattooed was brilliant . Never judge a book by its cover because I shed a tear when this played it was the last song I played for my mum after nursing her for two years before I lost her, This will be our song forever x , never ever have a experienced a concert like it and doubt I ever will unless my dream comes true and I get to Maastricht his home . I need to be quicker when the tickets go on sale ha ha .

This sounds amazing, so heartfelt, my dad passed away a few years ago and this was his song he had so much love for Andre, he had three strokes, every time he wanted to listen to Andre rieu, he told me Andre's music brings his life back
This was played at my Fathers funeral by his brother Alec who was a Pipe Major........ sadly Alec passed away 14th August 2020...... I listened to this in his and my Fathers honour..... R.I.P Alec......

How beautiful is this tribute to salvation from one so evil who did not repent as soon as he was safe from the storm, thank God he finally did see the true path and became a minister. I lived on loch Swilly in North West Ireland where John Newton's ship landed after almost being lost in the storm. I loved the little town and wish I could return there. Alas, due to health problems, only God could open a door for me to return. Thank you Andre.

And André Rieu does it all: Organisation, rehearsals, planning, directing, and performing in the very centre of it on his Stradivarius! Just a sight to behold and experience!

I would be willing to wager that "Amazing Grace" is the most favorite and well known of all gospel music. This is an awesome video with different musical instruments playing that lovely old tune that never grows old. I also love it played on the Pan Pipe.
I liked the pan pipe but not the way the player kept adding his 2 cents worth of extra notes. It's a solemn song & should respected as such.

On the contrary, it was written by the English poet and Anglican clergyman John Newton (1725-1807), set to an obscure tune called "New Britain" (itself probably of British origin) by US composer William Walker. What a combination of words and music! Divine.
