Congrats MEW! I test drove a GP3 yesterday (my dealer had 4 available including #2010!) and I loved it. Couldn't stop thinking about all the fun you're going to have with this hot hatch! But for me, I ended up custom ordering a JCW Rebel Green over Malt Brown 6 speed manual w/ sunroof and DDC delete. I hope I don't regret passing up a very special opportunity to get a GP3. Regardless, I think the 2 door MINI hardtop is the perfect fit for me, and seems to be the perfect fit for you as well! Totsiens!

I think the round information system with the all-round LeD lights is absolutely great, but also the many other small details are just beautiful to fall in love with. A very, very special car for a very special TH-camr !!!!

Beautiful car! I have owned my 2020 f56 Mini Cooper S since March. In my younger years I owned 2 classic Mini's but had to give up when I had children, but they've all grown up now with my youngest being 17 and I bought it knowing I wouldn't use the rear seats anyway as the legroom is SO tight. There was more legroom in the rear of an original classic Mini as I used to take 3 friends in mine, in this f56 there's no hope. My 19 yo daughter managed to struggle in the rear seat but her legs were up on the seat as there was no room for them even behind me and I'm only 5'5" tall. Still, I would NEVER buy a 4 door Mini or Countryman. I would love a Mini Roadster for summer and an R55 clubman for my dog to travel more easily.

Nice review MEW! Leave the wheels alone for me, they are specials and as intended! Good to put the +ve spin on the number - that will remind you how you’ve turned things around. I think it’s a great car. Yeah it’s a bit weird with the auto box but, I’ve seen auto vs manual with cars that are otherwise the same and the autos really do have an advantage these days. Also I agree, easy if you’re not experienced driving the car at another 10 - 15% on track - so much more time to think about braking, position, lines etc. I found that out when a Porsche owning friend took us to Silverstone for 981 day - manual was more involving but sooo much easier in the PDK! Looking forward to the driving vid.
Awesome glad you like the GP... remember on a new car assuming your the 1st owner. There is the break in period for engines is after the 1st oil change, though, you have the automatic PDK Paddle Shifters it's after the Transmission Fluid change. Don't believe dealer sales or other service techs they want you to bring her in to replace them... Here in U.S. the so called car guys that argue this is because they are techs. They may claim Manufacture or Factory does the break in process, when you think about how many cars are made a day, there's no way they can break the engines and transmissions

Emma I know its only a small dog but for your own safety and to comply with the law dogs have to be restrained either with a dog guard or a doggie seat belt to stop it flying forward should you be unfortunate to have an accident.
Hi Emma, Embrace your center mounted gauges, they will never be obscured by the steering wheel. My Panoz Roadster also has center mounted gauges and I love it!
I totally love it apart from two tiny details. I wish the wheels were 5 spoke because i think 5 look perfectly balanced.....and i wish the main speedo and tacho were real analogue dials rather than a digital screen.....but that really is all.
I'm not fond of the sticking out panels around the wheel arces, but that's all, it is a great car, enjoy it Emma.
So we have the same engined Countryman in the form of the JCW. Great drive, and such fun, but more practical than the GP3.

Lol 2019 is an unfortunate number, but it’s a mini so it’s quirky right? I drove a 2021 Clubman (left hand drive) and didn’t notice the display being off center. It is a really useful dash layout.
Personally I am not a fan of the wing and the bits on the the side.
I would have gone for the normal JCW.
But the important thing is that you like it.
And it's probably a fun car to drive, most Minis are.
the exhaust sounds a bit tuned/fake in my opinion.
But most cars are like that these days.
The Instruments are placed like that cause it is supposed to be easier to see when on a track I think I read somewhere.
But a nice video though.

To be fair, a car being 32, 33 or 34 thousand is immaterial unless you’re paying in cash - most pay on the tick so it’d make negligible difference to payments what the sticker price is of the three. If paying on finance easy to forget the finalsticker price!
