I’m watching this in summer 2024. Both of you have newborn baby boys now. Your lives are not what you imagined back when recording this, but you are both happy and very blessed young women. It’s a blessing to watch your channel.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear your dad sing!!! I’m positive I’m not the only one out there that would love to hear him sing. Please try to talk him into letting you video him singing.
Sweet young ladies! I love your family and lifestyle. So refreshing, uplifting and spiritually on point. Such natural talent and purely funny bringing me soothing comfort. Watching from Las Vegas, NV.
With the economy being the way it is today, any frugal ideas from your older relatives would be a great video. We forget how much our grannies have lived through.
@thepressleygirls Corie you and Austin need to come out to the hawk watch with me this September. You'd love it. Hundreds of Broad-winged Hawks passing over the Ridge. Vicki from Ventures Birding usually is the team leader.
And let's be honest Red-tailed Hawks are the loudest and largest hawks in North Carolina. Buteo jamaicensis. They're not hard to miss if you know what you're looking/listening for. Edit: but I still like that nickname for Corie 🙂
Omgosh! Katie sounds a lot like me. I grew up with a family of country music lovers… I am the only one who (while I love country music also) am a Rock-N-Roller at heart. I’m 58 still love concerts. Have seen BonJovi,Eagles,Def Leppard, and many more. I was so excited when I heard you weren’t going to see REO Speedwagon! I love them too but have never saw them. My cousins still pick at me…. When we were younger they’d say… you sure the stork dropped you off at the right place??😂
Thank you for sharing! Taking time to do a q&a video just shows us how invested you guys are in the channel and in us the subscribers. It means a lot, and that you guys are willing to share yourselves! Thank you, take care!
I just love you young ladies you have been raised well and it shows. Treasure your mama and daddy and your granny they have made you who you are. Love that you had a treasured relationship with your pap.
This question for Katy could u talk about this in next q&a. About your love for Creek and how u speak of your love for your home area, once u said would never want to leave and live anywhere else, has that changed or if perhaps marriage comes into play would Nick move to your area as Austin? He could always build another house on property near your family. As close as you and your family are two hours long way to enjoy close family life Can't imagine you all not settling closer so as to not miss out being able to havethat especially with Corie. I can how much your mom& dad missed the change after C&A were married and they are only 15 minutes away and u guys see each other often. Life is short to miss so much time.. You don't talk much any more about your jewelry making, has fishing and Nick replaced this seems u are like Willie Nelson on the Road again to destination Hayward County!
I don't know if you will see this or not for your next Q&A but I will ask anyway. Your videos are always showing your immediate family being together which is absolutely wonderful. It takes me back to my childhood days when our families spent alot more time together. Do either of you still spend time with friends from school?
They made me wait until I was 12 to get baptized. I was saved when I was 6 and didn’t want to wait so long to be baptized. And my mom was the children’s choir director and I had to wait until 3rd grade. My favorite Bible stories are Daniel in the lion’s den and the 3 in the furnace and Jesus saving the lost sheep and calming the storm. Love this video. I like Gospel and Appalachian music. We call it Early American in the Western USA.
I am glad to know of your relationship with Nick.......I didn't want to ask coz I thought you might have just been friends and just wasn't sure......You are both stunning and talented girls so if a relationship doesn't work out it's their loss and not yours.
Y’all are so cute. Makes me miss my twin. Only my twin was a brother. Green Bean fan here too. Have a wonderful weekend. Alicia Jean’nette from Arkansas
Hey y’all 👋 I know you’ve mentioned mountain lions or big cats often in your videos . If you look up Tennessee wild life. They have documented several cougars have come back . They were eradicated in the 1900s however they are back in our North Georgia Mountains and we have seen some down here in the valley. The bears are back also as the Georgia wild life states and many in our neighborhoods have seen them . Also, don’t laugh . But Tennessee wild life says many Alligators 🐊are back as well . They are migrating from Mississippi. I am in North Georgia close to the Tennessee River close to Chattanooga. They have pulled alligators 🐊 out of the river . Just research it if you’re interested.
Oh my gosh, I love Ghost Town Living. Do you watch it with your hand over your mouth like I do? LOL I can hardly watch Brent doing all of the terrifying, crazy things he does!
Love learning more about you precious girls thru these Q&A sessions! You are different but the same!! Keep ‘em coming!! God bless and love to all!! 💕🤗🙏🏻
Katey since you like older rock music have you tried listening to the group Boston? More than a feeling is my favorite song it is so well arranged and just gives you a good feeling listening to it. Hope you give them a try you won’t regret it. Be blessed. 😇
men in the fiery furnace is my earliest memory of a bible story! all because my mother played tennessee ernie ford records and he sang about it. mom had to explain that song to me when i was probably 4 or 5 years old.
I love watching y’all. Both of you ladies are so sweet. The story about the angel was so heart touching. Keeping your grandma and the family in my prayers.🙏♥️🙏
I’m 64 and from Louisiana but I swear we could be related. So many foods, language and love for your parents and Family are my same childhood experiences ❤
I’ve never really listened to you girls alone before and I’m so glad I did! Totally FUN! I’m 64, always lived in or near the city of Boston in Massachusetts but love the country. My husband & I get out whenever we can to hike, canoe or whatever. We are blessed with a huge backyard so sitting out there in the evenings is fun too. I’ve ALWAYS been drawn to the culture of Appalachia, which is how I found your moms channel. We were raised in the Unitarian church which I have no clue what it’s all about except that they never taught the Bible so I quit in third grade & went to the United church in town. The one AWESOME thing about that Sunday school was that Pete Seeger $ some other guy who’s name escapes me, used to come in with guitars, banjo & fiddle and teach us traditionally American folk songs. We’d also make up our own songs. He taught a lot of Woody Guthrie. Anyway, you ladies are so lovely, inside & out. I wish I had girls like you as I never had daughters. I’m not terribly religious but I’m very spiritual and say a prayer for your grandmother each night. That’s so hard to go through! Sending healing thoughts and lots of love, Michelle in Boston. ❤️
I came out of Kroger one day and there was a large spotted hawk sitting on my car. I was amazed! I got a picture of it. There are many hawks here in the Shawnee National Forest. I've seen bald eagles a few times.
To Corie my youngest daughter goes to the thrift store buys dresses & re- styles them she takes old granny dresses & changes the hem or shortens sleeves always cute!❤ & Katie would do good on a backhoe😂😂
The hawk thing isn't only in your circle. Today, I watched 3 Bald Eagles over my house for a few minutes. The thought went through my head that Corey would love to see them. I had to laugh at it. However, it was my thought. Bless y'all.
Girls-do the extravagant date nights before you have kids. I do most of my date nights at home with my husband because I am exhausted by 5:30pm. We pick up food, watch a show and relax in the couch. But the times we can get out of the house together are so fulfilling and refreshing. It helps us get away from the “to-do list” and just enjoy the special bond we have as a couple. And I think… one day it’ll be just us again… and that kinda makes me sad, happy and hopeful at the same time. We’ll be older, we’ll have grandkids…. Every season has it’s blessings and differences…
Does Elvis Presley's gospel music move your heart and soul? On stage, when he sang his gospel section, it felt like he was praying, worshipping and witnessing for His Savior. Do you know the Smith side of his family?❤
My wife and I are looking forward to attending your mom's book signing in Roanoke, VA next month and we would love seeing your girls there as well (as well as your dad, Austin and Nick too if they choose to take the drive). We appreciate the fact that your mom is traveling all this way to Roanoke and can't wait to attend the event. Thank you for answering these questions, and as always, we look forward to seeing future videos.
Well, im 67 but LOVE rock, mostly Southern Rock. So..Lynyrd Skynrd, Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band. But also love Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Chicago, Charlie Daniels, Carole King, Vince Gill, Fleetwood Mac and ALABAMA!

Ooooh I've been following Brent and Cerro Gordo for years and think Katie so much each time he's talking about the rocks- especially lately with his discoveries! It would be so cool to go out there and help be a part of that adventure.
We live in Gainesville, GA and have spent a lot of time in Kingsport and Charlotte. My wife was born in Murphy in 1954 and grew up in Blueridge where her mom still lives at 95 on her own in the same house. Her brain works better than mine, haha. I love the area and like to eat squirel/dumplings, rabbit and deer. Yall are lucky to have been born in that area. We also like to rent cabins in the Blueridge area and north of Helen. You both are so grounded in everything you do and at your age that's what sets you apart from most of society and makes you great people. Y'all let God lead your lives and that reflects on your parents being Godly people. Austin and Nick are very Blessed, the good Lord lead them to you both. God Bless you and God Keep you 🙏 Never change ✝️
Les Paul said it was his mom that made him think about making the electric guitar. Talking about how to make the guitar loud enough to be heard in the band, she said well if you could plug that wire in the amp like that steel guitar you might have something, The only electric was a Hawaiian steel back then.
Thanks for the amazing videos, love watching your whole family! I grew up in the small town living, now live in a large city, but miss the small town (1,000 residents) close knit ways…back home I knew everybody in town, here I don’t even know everyone on my block. Have a great weekend!

Please put me in your next Q &A video. I have one question for both of you. Given the current state of American education would you ever consider Home Schooling your future children? If so, why? If not, why not? Thank you.
This was a super interesting Q&A, Katie and Corie. Interesting questions, and y'all did the best job of answering them. No hemming & hawing and wasted time. You would be good talk show hosts the way you get right to the point and keep it interesting. Not many people do a good job with this type format, even some professionals. You packed a lot into this short video, and I still hated for it to end. It was fun hearing Katie's aspirations to operate heavy equipment, and your recent comments Corie about hawks have made me wonder if it's my imagination that there are more of them this spring than usual. Every time I leave the house in the late afternoon, I see one or more before returning home. I think I'm seeing Cooper's Hawks, but sometimes they look huge and swoop past the car so swiftly, I'm not 100% sure whether it's a hawk or perhaps an owl. Hard to drive on twisty mountain roads and watch the wildlife at the same time :-) Edited to say that I had my hawk names mixed up, and it's probably the larger broad winged hawk I'm seeing lately.
Great Q & A! Enjoyed hearing you answer the fun questions! I love how you both are committed to putting God first in your lives and following His lead- such wisdom. Katie, you remind me of my mom. She also finds construction vehicles fascinating. And Corie, I too have tried sewing; didn't go too well. I prefer to knit. ;) God bless you two!
Katie, with your creativity and interest in large pieces of metal, you may enjoy looking at the work of artist Don Drumm. He's from Akron, Ohio and is very, very well known and admired here. He's now in his 80s and still running his studio. He's done a variety of metalworks on every scale.
When you get older you learn to have a personal closer walk with Jesus ❤

If Corie ever needed a nickname it would be Hawkeye. She always seems to see or hear those Redtail Hawks.
💁♀️Katie is her Daddy’s Child And Corte is Tipper made over just the way I see it ✨💫❤️ ❤️✨💫
Do y’all own the lake?
@@marciabullock5913 No 😁

Loved it all! And thank you for adopting your pup from a shelter!!
Always enjoy your videos girls! Stay safe and enjoy your weekend.

I agree with Katie about salvation. I got saved at 8. But I didn’t get serious about Jesus until I got baptized at 12. Even more so at age 14.
I came out of Kroger one day and there was a large spotted hawk sitting on my car. I was amazed! I got a picture of it. There are many hawks here in the Shawnee National Forest. I've seen bald eagles a few times.
Such a fun video! Great questions...thanks for answering mine. Your Granny has captured my heart! ❤😊

Awww❤ Thats the cutest little story about Olive. I just kwew it😂 Love at first sight😊 You girls are special. I see so much goodness in y'all. 😇💐🙏
Trout and Coffee channel is amazing! His voice and poetic speaking is so soothing!
Does Elvis Presley's gospel music move your heart and soul? On stage, when he sang his gospel section, it felt like he was praying, worshipping and witnessing for His Savior. Do you know the Smith side of his family?❤

Morning Ladies, Miss Corie, Miss Katie.
The name PRESSLEY - ancient English, meaning a clearing in the wood owned by priests. ("priest" + "leah" = forest clearing). Origin_ West Yorkshire and Bedfordshire as early as 1198. Variations include "Priestley".

Neat 😁
Ooooh I've been following Brent and Cerro Gordo for years and think Katie so much each time he's talking about the rocks- especially lately with his discoveries! It would be so cool to go out there and help be a part of that adventure.
Always good to listen in. Very important, the Christian aspects to life :) All the best and God Bless.
Enjoyed getting to know you both better. How fun! Have a wonderfully blessed weekend. 🙏❤️🐕 Cheryl and my dog Dixie
Thank you 😁
Got to the point where I only listen to music that glorifies the Father 💛
Love how Austin fits right in with your family. QUESTION are you related to the Presley family that has performed in Branson Missouri for many years?
Not that we know of 😁

Another insightful video. You're both very well spoken on various topics. I'd like to be more that way 😊Blessings 🙌
Enjoyed the Q & A pt. 1 Corie & Katie..GOD BLESS You All
Thank you!
You two are precious. My family is not close, sad. Extended family was when young.
You both have done well finding a mate that you have a lot in common with!! But, yes I believe in God’s providence ❤! Bringing couples together:)
And God knows when couples are not going to last long term. Just trust in God.
Katie/Corie;
I am so much older than you and possibly older than your Dad but i will be 70 in June and not being from the south, i am a Yankee from Massachusetts but i love the southern accents and the music, not so much the newer Country Hillbilly music, i am talking about the music from the 30’s all the way up to the late 60’s that’s where i believe that Country music started to change and the country artists nowadays really have forgotten the

I also think that both of you are absolutely precious and i just love the love you have for Nick, Austin and Olive
I stumbled across your You Tube videos and i was hooked, whenever you post a video, i just have to watch it because you two are so funny and entertaining ❤😊
Have you ever admired Loretta Lynn ? I watched the movie made about her and
Aaah what a sweet story, and slick Penelope 😊
You guys remind me so much of my family! I so want to move down there and hang out with y’all! We used to go to Boone every Thanksgiving. I miss it!
Good music is good music.
Please put me in your next Q &A video. I have one question for both of you. Given the current state of American education would you ever consider Home Schooling your future children? If so, why? If not, why not? Thank you.
This was such a fun video with you both in it. I have twin brothers and they are so different you would not know they are twins.
Absolutely love this style video. Great to hear your response's. Both of you have a great life.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you!
Thank you both for sharing. 😊

Prayers for your precious Grandma and family ❤
Great Q & A! Enjoyed hearing you answer the fun questions! I love how you both are committed to putting God first in your lives and following His lead- such wisdom.
Katie, you remind me of my mom. She also finds construction vehicles fascinating. And Corie, I too have tried sewing; didn't go too well. I prefer to knit. ;)
God bless you two!
Katie, with your creativity and interest in large pieces of metal, you may enjoy looking at the work of artist Don Drumm. He's from Akron, Ohio and is very, very well known and admired here. He's now in his 80s and still running his studio. He's done a variety of metalworks on every scale.
I'm like Katie i love rock, mostly classic rock 🪨 🎸
Thank yall
