    The VVT sprocket bolts and caps are a T55 not a T50. If you use a T50 and follow the torque specs recommended here then you may damage the blot heads to the point that you cannot ever get them off again because they will be partial or totally stripped out due to the sloppy fit of the t50. T55 is tight and will not damage the insert when torquing..

    Good morning hey on my exhaust camshaft I accidentally knock off one of my little blocks on the end of the camshaft h will I need to change my camshaft or will the sensor still read the speed of the camshaft

    • @omarcarrilloromero8034
      @omarcarrilloromero8034 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had the same problem. It's called a reluctor ring. It's going to have to be pulled off with a bearing puller and you replace the new one by heating it, maybe with a heat gun, and slipping it back onto the camshaft. Be sure that the new one is placed in the exact position as the old one and that the clearance from the reluctor ring teeth to the position sensor is also the same; check the clearance using shims.

    What is the reason for you need to replace the gear sprocket, it's the sleeves that wore out ?

    • @gerardoramirez6976

      What sleeves are you referring to? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

      The cam gears need to be replaced when they start leaking oil.

    • @omarcarrilloromero8034
      @omarcarrilloromero8034 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @gerardoramirez6976 the sleeves are little black plastic cylinder looking parts that go in the center of the cam gear and into the camshaft, the cam bolt basically goes through the sleeves when you bolt it up.
