    Apologies for the delay, folks! I had to pull the Jan-08 product review due to an issue I only discovered prior to post. So here I am, back with another Monster product I originally had this slated for Jan-15 - I literally shot the last scenes last night!
    The Monster N-Lite 200 is the smallest and lightest true wireless earbuds I've ever tested. Despite it's diminutive size, this compact package comes with all the bells and whistles, including Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C charging, and touch controls! So let's check it out!!

    I am wearing these while listening to your playback. I'm curious if you had both earbuds on when you recorded the beginning outside the car? Because when I listened I could only hear out of my left earbud. But when you came back inside I was able to hear you out of both buds.

      Thank you for your comment, and my apologies for this late response.
      The reason for the one-sided audio is because the testing segment was recorded using an older version of Cinema FV-5, which unfortunately was a bit buggy on my Pixel 3 -- it would capture audio in mono rather than stereo. I could've simulated stereo but I was afraid the AI would change or make adjustments to the track. I didn't want to do this because I want to keep the audio raw in all my testing segments.
      However, this issue has been completely eliminated in my recent reviews. I've since upgraded my phone and use the most up-to-date version of Cinema FV-5.
      As for the other review segments, I'm using my wireless lavalier microphone connected to my Fujifilm camera, and this always records audio in stereo. Anyhow, I hope I've cleared things up. I'm still learning, and I try to make adjustments and improvements whenever and wherever I can. Thanks again for your comment. These help me a lot and I really do appreciate it! Cheers!!

    Thanks dude, and great production value!
    What do you think of the MPOW12s ($33 CAD) and MPOW30 Pluses ($52)? Currently purchased both to see which I'll keep.

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never tried the Mpow 30 Plus, but I did try the M12 and M30 non-Plus ~ both prior to starting my channel, hence no reviews. Sorry!
      The M12 wasn't very powerful, and the bass absolutely sucked. The M30 was far better, but I didn't like the fit. That was actually a big enough issue that Mpow decided to make changes to the earwings. I'm pretty sure they kept the internals the same.
      Unfortunately I never got around to testing the M30 Plus since I found the X3s, but even if they just improved the fit, I think you'll find the audio quality superior to the M12s. Enjoy!

    Hi there! Thanks for your in depth reviews online. Wondering - - What's the best true active noise cancelling headphones/earbuds you have tried? Sometimes I need to drown out noisy people at home 😂 And preferably comfortable to wear for long periods of time (at least 1-3 hours at a time) (for train commutes, reading, video calls)

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True Active Noise Cancelling?? None that I've reviewed thus far. However, the Monster iSport Champions did an amazing job in keeping external noise from filtering in. And once you have music going, even at low volumes, you're completely isolated.
      I do have other ANC headset reviews planned for the coming weeks, which will also include some well-known global brands (besides Monster lol). Maybe I can find something for you. Are you looking for headphones or earbuds? Let me know your preference and I'll review those first 🙂

      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello! And thanks for your question.
      Honestly, brand new at $37 I'd say they're worth picking up. It's better than anything else at that price range for sure. But please keep in mind that these aren't very powerful. So if you're looking for big sound and deep bass, these aren't for you.
      I hope this helps. Cheers!

    What is the brand of the other earbuds that you showed in the video and in your opinion is it better than the monster?

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Those were the Mpow X3 ANC, which at the time were my daily drivers. Mpow is no longer on the Amazon marketplace, and their customer service is pretty much nonexistent so I wouldn't recommend them.
      If you're wondering which CAD$50 Sony product I was referring to, it's the WI-C100. I also recommend the WF-C500 (earbuds) and the WH-CH510 (on-ear), both of which are under CAD$100.
      Other good options are the Monster 101 Plus and 102 Plus. These are much easier on the wallet and have decent sound quality. The 102 Plus is my current daily driver btw.
      Hope this helps. Cheers!

    Which Sony earbuds are $50?

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. I definitely should've clarified what I was referring to now that you mention it. Sony has a whole range of wireless sports earbuds, but they're not TWS (True Wireless Stereo) as the buds are connected together by a physical wire/cord. I've tried a couple myself and they're great, but I don't find too many people are interested in that particular style nowadays. I hope that answers your question. And below are links to the ones I've personally tried. Thanks again!

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your comment. I understand what you're saying, and I'm trying to come up with ways to break the sequences down and shorten them. But please understand there are reasons for how I currently do my unboxings.
      The unboxing sequence is meant to highlight the packaging of the product, and the condition of the product itself. This lets potential buyers know what to expect. In fact, a viewer a few months back told me I received an open box product because my unboxing experience was far different from theirs. So to me it's already proven useful.
      Again, I do understand and appreciate your comment. And I do agree that I often go overly long with my talking points in these sequences. All I can really promise is that I'll try to speed things up.
      At the end of the day, I can't please everyone. And viewers such as yourself are always welcome to skip ahead. Thanks again. Cheers!

      @@novumverum Just discovered your channel love your production quality, I think a possible solution to please everyone is to have a separate unboxing video and review video like some other reviewers do. However, this is possible if time allows you to do so.

      @@mswatimasina thank you for your suggestion. Actually, I thought of doing exactly that in the beginning. But I wanted to be more informative; a one-stop channel with thorough unboxings and my honest opinions on each product.
      That said, I am trying to shorten each segment. Ultimately I would like each video to be no more than 10 to 12 minutes. I think putting timestops for each segment would be convenient as well for viewers who want to skip ahead.
      So yes, I am working on improving my content in several different and meaningful ways. Now I just have to find the time to create content 🙃 My real life work schedule isn't helping, but I do what I can in what free time I have. Thanks again for your comment. Cheers!

    I'd speed up your video. I played this at x2 and it still felt slow paced talking. I think watching this in x8 would be better. Also change to lyric less music its very distracting from you. Aside from that good video.

    • @novumverum
      @novumverum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment! You're right of course, and I'm trying to work on speeding things up and shortening each segment.
      I don't script my reviews, which I know most reviewers do, and that's why I go overlong with everything unfortunately. Plus I rarely ever cut my segments at all.
      I do feel that scripting would make my reviews sound less honest. But I think a good solution would be to make bullet points and just hit those for each part -- I do tend to go on tangents often 😝
      I'm still learning how to do clean edits and cuts. I know these won't be seemless, but I'm never happy with my result. I'm probably just being too self critical. I should just do it, post it, and wait for feedback 😅
      Thanks again for pointing these issues out. I'll make changes for sure in my upcoming reviews, and hopefully cut them down significantly. I'd love to get them down to 10-12mins at some point 🤞
      Cheers!

      Thanks for your comment. Yes, I do believe constantly and consistently cutting out during a conversation is a huge issue. I don't know about you, but I hate it when I have to repeat myself or asking someone to repeat themselves. Imagine that happening while having a phone interview, or a conversation with your doctor, or worse, talking with your significant other 😱
      I get it, context means everything, so maybe I should've mentioned those types of scenarios to underscore how an issue could be problematic. I just assumed viewers would understand where I was coming from.
      Thanks again for your comment! I'll try to clarify and add examples to any issues I come across during testing in my summaries. Cheers!!
