I always look forward to 'Fellowship First Half of the Week" 😂. I'm sure I should have a box (probably in parents loft) with nearly a complete run of the LotR magazine. Remember the special issue with Gandalf on Shadowfax? That was a horrible model to build. I'm almost certain that the 2 halves were cast in a slightly different scale 😂
Yeah definitely round out the Three Hunters next. I brought them about 2 years ago, new plastic ones, and used Pete the Wargamers Aragorn tutorial to paint them. Sadly he never got around to doing the other 2, but they share a lot of colours so I copied most over to Legolas and Gimli I kind of did my own thing, but kept similar colours the same to help tie them all in. Not long after that I did all 4 Hobbits, plus a bonus armoured Merry. Last year I did the Battle in Balins Tomb set, though I still have the Hobbits, troll and goblins to do. A lot of my LOTR projects get pushed back. Still have Pelennor unbuilt, and I did start a Fall of the Necromancer project using the first gaming book I ever brought of the same name. Who knows I may get back to it once I finish up some other projects.
It’s honestly something that is stumping me. I mean he really should have a base that matches the top of the tomb but then when I take him out to play he will look strange. So I don’t know yet. What do you think?
@@MediocreHobbies yeah its a tough call. Mine is just purely for display so I'll be matching the tomb but if your gonna be playing them its gonna look odd i guess 🤔
